This is the best airbnb I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in, every one of us was indeed impressed with how lovely the apartment was, it’s very spacious and perfect for 4+ people, it’s the ideal location for exploring Madeira by car. As it’s in the central location of the island. The host was amazing left us a welcome basket with loads of different local snacks, they was very welcoming and attended to our needs and provided lots of information about Madeira and activities that we can do Overall for the price and quality of what you’re getting it’s out of this world 🌍 get yourself booked in 👍🏻

We had a great stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Check in was easy and the shop and bar at the bottom of the hill are easily walkable and have everything you need. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the sunny porch in the mornings watching the birds, including a kestrel and a buzzard. The hot tub is a touch of luxury and we enjoyed meeting the goat next door. The property is private and peaceful but within a short driving distance of the town and many walking trails. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, Jo + Matt.

Such a nice Airbnb with great rooftop views! The space was very clean and had everything we needed! Location was great as it was walkable to many different restaurants and the downtown area. Airbnb came with a list of many recommendations of places to eat and things to do which was also helpful! We would definitely recommend staying here :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Maria's place. It was very clean and comfortable. It has lovely views of the ocean and great location to discover the whole island. There was also everything we needed including the basics for cooking like oil, vinegar, salt and herbs. The only small downside was that the town was a little too far to walk but there are a couple of restaurants that can be walked to. Maria was great at giving us recommendations and helping out when we had issues with our flights.

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

Such a beautiful house on the mountain. You have the sea view. Rui very helpful, he helped us a lot with checking in. You have to be able to drive properly when booking this accommodation. The best way is to use the way according to the instructions of the landlord. The surroundings are fantastic, very quiet and very private. We will definitely come back.

Great place, clean, very spacious, excellent bedding. The terrace allows you to enjoy the magnificent sunsets. Small supermarket within a 1mn walk, very well supplied. Quiet and very good location on the island.

We had a great stay at Susana’s Airbnb in Funchal! The space was clean, bright, and very well-equipped — the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The highlight was definitely the enormous terrace with beautiful views over the city and sea — a perfect spot to relax. The only small issue was that the bed mattresses were not the most comfortable, as we could feel the springs. However, this didn’t take away from an overall lovely experience. Thank you, Susana!

Great location and very close to the marina, cable cars, tourist areas, shopping and restaurants. Oh my goodness and the views from the balcony were amazing! I was traveling with my sister and we were able to walk around at night and feel safe. Could the bed be a little softer, yes but it did its job. Loved the shower, loved the building, loved the responsiveness of the host. Also loved it had a private parking space for the rental. One of the best parts is the welcome water!! We were so parched and it was a perfect greeting.

Fabulous trip to Madeira, accommodation was excellent, very comfortable bed, lovely apartment, really enjoyed the balcony. The apartment was in a quiet street in the old town, close to lots of fabulous restaurants and the cable car station. Loved everything about it, our host was amazing really responsive and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Will definitely come back 😁

We were allowed to spend 6 nights in Julie's wonderful apartment. Julie has proactively contacted us before and we agreed on our arrival time. She was then on site to hand over the keys and also explained to us everything we needed to know. The place was really just a dream, the view is wonderful and we couldn't get enough of it. It looked exactly like the photos! The kitchen and bathroom had everything you needed, even shower gel and shampoo! Julie was super helpful with a last-minute change in dates. We highly recommend Julie's place!

Very spacious, comfortable accommodation with terrace in the centre of Funchal. The location is quiet and easily accessible near the main market. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels available. The welcome fruit was also nice. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Very comfortable and spacious apartment, despite being in the center very quiet and quiet. The balcony overlooking an interior garden allowed you to relax at breakfast. Excellent location for touring Funchal walking and for excursions to the whole island. Parking in the back supermarket parking at a low cost. Highly recommended this apartment.

Nice apartment, very functional, beautiful view The app was not working (network problem?) at the bottom of the building upon arrival, so we waited a while at the door, unable to contact the owner to enter A little further from the beach than we understood, but very well located

The apartment is in a great location. Tonnes of mixed restaurants nearby (some tourists may prefer if you want home comforts and others authentic Portuguese food) all just a walk away. A short walk to many local supermarkets too which is helpful when you need to quickly grab things. Private pool which was never busy and always quiet! We rented a car and the parking in the apartment is so accessible. We used the apartment as a base for many hikes so drove various distances from here to explore Madeira. Excellent host, great apartment and would stay in this airbnb next visit.

We highly recommend it! We went with 4 people, check-in was with the host, but it wasn't a problem, even better because we still got a lot of valuable tips. The apartment was very clean and overlapped with what is offered in the photos. Recommended!

Tastefully furnished apartment. Good location. The underground parking space is important. There was also a good briefing on parking, which was really helpful. We felt comfortable. Lovely view of the old town and harbor. Every now and then it was noisy from the street. The windows shut out the noise well. A successful vacation

This was the perfect place for my family of 4 for 5 nights. Roberto met us for check-in and guided us into the garage, easy to park and utilize the remote control. From there you access the elevator to the 5th floor. The condo is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Our 2 adult children were with us and the room situation was ideal. The weather could have been better, lots of rain, wind mixed with some sun. I chose this over some other homes because of the amazing patio with a view, we didn't use that much due to rain.We ate at Francos the second night, which is around the corner, it was good, but we discovered the streets closer to the water and hotels, and ate in that area the next three nights. We also found a great breakfast/coffee shop called the LOFT in the same area, super yummy and so reasonable. The kitchen was fine, and worked for breakfast on a few days. Good to know there is a washer, but no dryer, so you have a drying rack. We loved our stay here!

Had a wonderful time spending a week here. Great location if you want to be just outside of the busy area of Funchal. Having a designated parking was really good since finding street parking can be challenging. Also located right next to a shopping mall with a grocery store so it’s easy to pick up essentials. Fatima who checked us in was great and responsive!
