Vacation rentals with a patio in São Martinho

Very nice and quiet place to stay, for the fact that there is a lot going on in the surrounding streets. The condo is well equipped. Parking spaces are limited and actually intended for residents. Only the beds squeaked quite a bit with every movement and there were lots of mosquitoes. A suitable net may be available in front of the bedroom window. You can walk to the city center. Overall, we were satisfied.

This is a beautiful place! The pictures did not do it justice. It was open and spacious, we felt relaxed the minute we stepped in! We traveled with our 3 adult children and we had plenty of space. There were a lot of extra touches-fresh flowers, a cooler to use, swim towels, complimentary cake and wine, and blankets for use out on the patio. The parking was convenient as we rented a car for travel on the island. We took the path to town and wish we would have done this earlier to enjoy the beach. Fantastic property and location, close to restaurants,shops,and the marina. With a Supermarket right next door. The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the roof terrace was a total sun trap and a lovely place to chill of an evening. The owner answered any questions we had very quickly and was a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely be booking again. 5*

We had a wonderful stay at Daniela’s place! She is a great and responsive host! The apartment is spacious and clean and view from the balcony is amazing!

We will be talking about the wonderful stay we had at Filip and Renata’s place for a long time to come. The space is perfect for a couple or small family. The bedrooms and bathroom are spacious, the kitchen is exceptionally well stocked (there’s even Tupperware so you can pack sandwiches for a hike), and the outside space is comfortable, quiet and beautiful. Now I know why many other reviewers wished they had stayed in this location for the whole of their Madeira travels! The location is excellent for exploring the island and returning home at night is easy, especially with a dedicated parking space. What really makes this place shine are the hosts, especially Filip who offered many suggestions and treated us to fresh bread and other goodies. He was so warm and kindhearted. This is a gem of a property; do not hesitate to book!

Cristina was a wonderful host, always available with helpful tips and recommendations. The apartment was very clean and tidy, furnished, arranged and equipped in the best of taste. Stunning view, very quiet, even if very near to the expressway, and because of that perfect located to get everywhere easy and quick. Restaurants of all kind available within short driving time. Overall - very advisable!

What a wonderful place to stay. The balcony is just amazing and is the perfect spot for a glass of wine after a day of exploring Madeira. Nothing was too much trouble for Marie. Even down to the coffee machine not working on arrival and a replacement landing with us within an hour, which was beyond all expectations! The apartment was spotlessly clean, with everything we could possibly have needed! 🙂

We just finished 2 magical days at Patricia’s home and cannot say enough incredible things of her place. The house itself is BEAUTIFUL, with an amazing pool and jaw dropping views. In addition to this she was so accommodating to us and made sure we were comfortable the entire time!!! Uber’s and Bolt’s are easy to call and extremely affordable. We did not want to leave and are already planning our next trip to her home!!

If you’re looking for a quiet coastal cottage in Madeira this place is perfect. The view is beautiful with restaurants right around the corner. You’re steps away from the beach and beautiful hiking trails. The house is small but well kept and was very comfortable for two guests

This chalet is absolutely beautiful! It was exactly as pictured - if not more lovely in person. It was peaceful, clean, and so cozy! We enjoyed making a fire in the fire place when it was cold and rainy. Ana was so responsive and let us check in early and was helpful giving directions and gave great recommendations for places to eat. Hot shower, comfortable bed, washing machine, full kitchen - everything you need! There are, however, some pros and cons with the location to consider. This is a remote property in a small village - which is what makes it so pretty, unique and peaceful. It’s also off the main road on the way toward Pico de Areiro which is great if you’re spending time in this location hiking, canyoning, etc. However, keep in mind it’s very remote. I really did not like driving back there late at night and was a little uneasy sleeping there at night because it felt so remote - but if that doesn’t bother you, I couldn’t recommend this place enough! We would stay again!

Lovely location to stay in Funchal if you have a car! The place was clean and spacious with housekeeping available on weekdays. The free parking outside the home was very convenient. The host Antonia was responsive and friendly. Her check in instructions were clear. We had an overall amazing stay!

We really enjoyed our holidays in Madeira and especially the apartment in Campanàrio. The apartment is cozy, newly renovated and equipped with everything you need. With a rental car, the location outside the capital is not a problem and you feel welcome in the village, in the bakery and in the shops. Luis is a perfect host, has an answer to all concerns and is still not intrusive. We highly recommend the place for a couple.

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

Leonardo let us check in early. Beautiful clean environment right next to the water. He provided a clear and quick video to watch for instructions. Parking is a little complicated but your car is safe in a garage which is nice. Definitely recommend.

Accommodation as described, well-equipped and very conveniently located for discovering Funchal. Super convenient garage for parking a vehicle. Carla is very responsive, very friendly and gives good tips. I would recommend it!

Very nice apartment with stunning view. Close supermarket to buy everything we needed. Parking in underground garage. Cookies and bananas as a welcome gift were very great.

Great location and views. Plane and street noise did not disturb us as we kept bedroom windows closed. Everything you need to cook. WiFi can be a little spotty. I would stay there again.

The apartment was is a quiet neighborhood and the view was exceptional. The communication with Vasco was easy and quick.

Gorgeous spacious apartment walkable to everything in downtown Funchal - restaurants, shopping the water, musicians in the restaurant area were so fun! (Not near the house). All of Funchal seems to have some construction especially behind this building but I suspect u can’t escape that anywhere in Funchal. Otherwise it was a fantastic apartment and would definitely rent there again. Hosts were wonderful
