Heliodoro was really nice and welcoming. He does use his appartment by himself when it is vacant. This expains why everything is tidy, well equipped and taken care of. Also Heli is super friendly and helpful with all requests. Absolutely 5* plus, when Madeira sees me again, it will be at Helis place. tanks for all!

We had a wonderful stay at Madeira Apartments. Luciano was very responsive and answered questions we had before our stay including recommendations for rental cars. Sarah greeted us on arrival, she was so warm and welcoming and gave us lots of great recommendations. The apartment was very clean and we felt right at home straight away - the rooftop pool was also great to enjoy after some hikes! We would definitely stay again if we are ever able to come back to Madeira!

We had a wonderful stay in Peng’s flat. The flat is furnished very well, has a beautiful view from a big balcony and a usable swimming pool in the yard. I can surely recommend this Airbnb! Peng was endeavoured to ensure our stay is flawless at all time and gave lots of recommendations for activities in the area.

Orlandina is a fantastic host, always quick to respond and providing all the necessary information well in advance. I felt very welcomed, and the apartment offers a stunning view. I never had any trouble finding parking and always felt secure in the area. Additionally, there was no noise from the neighbors. I would highly recommend Orlandina as a host.

The apartment is thoughtfully decorated and spacious for 2 people. There are plenty of kitchen utensils/tableware and a good oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Very clean! Private parking and easy connection to all kinds of roads from the apartment. Debra is a very good and responsive host. A nice balcony, but little sun this time of year. But the view is beautiful! There is a lot of traffic noise, but we quickly got used to it. The area is a neighborhood with many newer houses and buildings, do not expect a cozy center. From the balcony you can see the Cristo do Rei statue, there you can take the cable car down to a very nice beach with a restaurant. There are also sunbeds for rent for little money. There are also a number of shops and restaurants when you go downstairs. A downside we found was that the bed is narrow, the mattress was otherwise quite reasonable. We definitely recommend the apartment and felt comfortable here!

The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious with a very nice outdoor area where you can enjoy a beautiful view. We had a great time!

Wonderful apartment and a great host!

We have visited Madeira for long weekend. Flat was very bright, clean and spacious. Nice to seat outside on the balcony with coffee and watch sunset. Despite been above the pizza place and next to the road it was very quiet. We had taxi from airport as no direct bus to the apartment. Taxi was around €20 Bus 155 is going to Funchal and bus stop on the road near the flat block. Busses going in average every hour and cost €2,60 Lovely walks around. Just bear in mind it is a lot of ups and downs. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend flat. All as described and we had very pleasant stay.

This was one of the most beautiful Apartments I've stayed at. The location was perfect, the place was spotless and new and the three bedroom layout was great for three of us. You won't regret booking here for a second.

The apartment is inside a private area secured with car barriers and security guard, so we felt very safe. There is an access to a swimming pool, but it's opened until 8 pm. There are some paid attractions within the area like gardens, golf and a mid-price restaurant with a view. There is plenty of place to park a car. The apartment itself was outstanding - very clean and spacious. It included plenty of kitchen utils and dishwasher tablets, however keep in mind basic spices are not provided if you're planning to eat on-site. Beds are comfortable, keep in mind one double bed is made of 2 single ones. The terrace is amazing, you can see sunset from there and moon shining on the water at night. The contact with the host was good, she was responsive and helpful. Make sure to read the address instructions, because the address pin on AirBnb is not correct (leads a few km away from the correct area). Also they require ID and credit or debit card and they scan it on check-in, so be prepared.

Magnificent seaview and peaceful surroundings. All amenities and utilities as described and location was easy to get to. The kids enjoyed the pool, we enjoyed the privacy and only 5 mins drive to Funchal. We recommend the stay!

Louise was a brilliant host and possibly the best experience I have had with Airbnb. She was kind and helpful with everything and made our stay painless and relaxing as was intended. Super cute and clean! Such a pretty view.

The apartment was beautiful and had everything you needed. Location was perfect meaning we could explore the city easily on foot. The roof terrace was a lovely addition to the apartment and allowed us to have some well needed chill time after busy days exploring. Our hosts were very helpful. Check in was really easy and we were given a guided tour of the apartment and terrace on arrival. Their welcome pack had lots of great recommendations that we used as well. My daughter had a fall in the apartment during our stay and accidentally broke a lamp. When I told the hosts they were so understanding and it was sorted really easily and with no stress. I really appreciated this so thank you again for your kindness.

The place was beautiful in a very quiet location with stunning views. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. The beach Calheta is 5 minutes by car easy to reach and highly recommended. We also loved the private parking. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are doing and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. We are glad we booked at this spot! The balcony was wonderful to have and everything was clean. What stood out the most was our very responsive host making sure we got all checked in even while her car was broken down on the side of the road! Despite the emergency, she responded to all our messages promptly and helped us check in. I was extra grateful when I woke up extremely sick from some bad fruit the night before and we were allowed a late check out until I recovered! We even left one of our passports at check out and she made sure the staff kept it safe for us. Very helpful owners, would recommend.

Betty is the top host! She welcomed us with open arms. Very fast to respond, friendly and helpful! We were able to check out in the afternoon and enjoyed our last lunch at home before leaving for the airport. The view of the mountains is breathtaking at day and night time. The apartment is absolutely huge. It was our 3rd visit to Madeira with our elderly mum. She got beautiful bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Betty also got an armchair for mum so she could relax on the balcony. We had such a comfortable and great stay! highly recommended!

upon arrival we were very well received by Ana. She explained everything to us and we were even able to arrive a little early at the apartment. She gave us tips for sightseeing, dining, and also told us the nearest supermarket. Ana was at her best!!! The apartment is perfect, there is everything you need even more than we imagined. It was a very nice apartment with a lovely terass and outside kitchen facilities. We were out and about during these days and didn't get to use the BBQ or the jacuzzi, and would recommend to stay here longer than two nights to make use of it all. To be clear, it is part of a family house but you barley notice them living next doors. An easy parking spot is included as well.
