Do you need an escape from home? Our quaint one room studio cottage is located in our avocado grove with great beautiful views in the hills of De Luz. It has a king size bed, 3/4 bath, kitchenette with 10 cu ft fridge and stove (but no oven), gas BBQ, dining area and private deck ~ it sleeps up to two people. The cottage has it's own entrance and driveway just past the main drive. As you relax on the deck or from the house you will enjoy the panoramic views and a view of the lake. The cozy cottage is approx. 700 sq ft and is adjacent to our home on the property. We have "natural AC" (i.e. no AC but fans and lots of windows and doors). Also included is satellite TV and Wifi, and a continental breakfast usually consisting of bread for toast, fruits, coffee and tea. The cottage is a great destination for a "get away from it all" retreat, for hikers and for cyclists and motorcyclists that want to enjoy the back country roads and vistas. You will enjoy the gorgeous drive to our cottage with the windy, narrow tree lined roads. The Temecula farmers market is a popular destination on Saturdays, and Temecula has a fabulous selection of wineries for tastings and dining. In Fallbrook, there are a variety of great restaurants, cute shops including a retro candy store,and a popular art gallery as well. We are located close to the Santa Margarita River Trail which is a 6 mile loop trail located near Fallbrook, California that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is used for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. It is accessible year-round. The Santa Rosa Plateau is another fantastic hiking spot, with vernal pools and gorgeous rolling hills and panoramic views. We are located 7.5 miles (15 mins) from Fallbrook and we are 25 minutes from Temecula, and 45 - 50 minutes from Oceanside. In addition, we are also approx 1 hour from Downtown San Diego and the SD airport. Just an FYI, we are 15 minutes from the closest store in Fallbrook, and the roads to get here as mentioned before are windy but lovely. We also have 2 sweet indoor/outdoor kitties that might stop by for a visit but we do not allow them in the guesthouse. Just to note, living in a rural area we share our property with the local critters that pass through such as coyotes, raccoons, etc. In additions to the furry critters, we also have the insect type. We try not to use pesticides so you potentially could see a bug now and again. Note: due to the coronavirus, we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations and at least a 3-day hiatus between stays. Weekly rental possible.

I had a fantastic stay at Carlos’s suite! The space is completely private and comes with everything you need: a cozy bedroom, a cute little kitchen, a spacious bathroom, and even a nice-sized fridge/freezer combo. The big TV and the dedicated parking spot right outside the window add to the convenience and security. It’s an ideal spot for skydivers visiting the area, and I’ll definitely be recommending it to my friends.

The photos don't do this place justice. Not only are the views insane, but the room is very comfortable and private with its own entrance. I was a little skeptical about renting a single room from a house but the property is so massive, it didnt make a difference. I did stay here while getting work done and the wifi was fast. I enjoyed the desk space in the room, available parking, outdoor lounge areas with a view and the overall peacefulness of the estate. Also, Roci was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Thank you again Roci!

This place was beyond peaceful, clean, organized and comfortable. I felt right at home for the period of 2 months I stayed here. I’m sad I will leave here soon, although I am glad the host was very responsive and able to accommodate my stay to the best of his abilities. The house is very spacious with many rooms to choose from, also the rooms have their respective share of space to place all your belongings and possessions. I don’t know what else I can say other than I was able to receive mail through Max mail box when I didn’t have access to a mailbox at the time. The neighborhood is so quiet and clam very peaceful no noise or anything crazy, if you like boring, calm, peaceful and clean neighborhood this house location Airbnb is just for you.

We are always a little hesitant about booking a room inside a host’s house, but our hosts went above and beyond! Snacks, bottled water, a fan and space heater in our room…and friendly conversation if you want it! The room and attached bathroom were extremely clean. The bed was comfortable and we were able to sleep in a quiet peaceful environment.
