Vacation rentals with a patio in Santa Cruz Island

Stayed for a month. full time nomads. Best place we've stayed in South America over the last 7 months, in space and value. Great for 4 people with the two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, perfect for 2 people having the extra space and bathroom. My wife and I loved it. Perfect for divers as we each had a shower to jump in and rinse / dry our gear after diving. kitchen was good for above basic meal prep. Jonathan had his father pick us up at the ferry and take us directly to the building. Every request or issue was addressed and or managed in 30 minutes or less to include a sudden leaking shower head. 15 minutes and a plumber and host were there to fix in less than 1 hrs Easy 15 minute walk to downtown. 2 bikes we were given to use were awesome. We rode all over town. 2 fresh bakery shops with in 2 blocks. 3 small local grocery stores on the street for basics. butcher shops down Duncan Street 800 meters away. stay trick..use the rice cooker to pre heat water for dishes. stay 2026 again

A very peaceful place to spend our days in Galapagos. The neighborhood is very pleasant and quiet. Just a 15-minute walk and you're at the dock ready for your next adventure! Plus: the water dispenser is really necessary ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I stayed for almost a week at Norma's in Santa Cruz, after a first two-night stay that convinced me to come back for four more nights. Norma welcomes us as her own family and offers impeccable accommodations, including one with two bedrooms and a full kitchen. Everything is clean, with excellent Wi-Fi (Starlink), hot water, good pressure in the shower, air conditioning, and coffee and water available. She offers laundry detergent for $2/kg, useful tips, and can book taxis for the airport. Perfect for remote work, she even set up tables on the terrace for us. A quiet, convenient, and warm place. 200% recommended!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb, which offered excellent value for money. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Charles Darwin Research Station, shops, and restaurants—yet it’s tucked away in a generally quiet part of town. The apartment is very spacious, with comfortable beds (though travelers should note the bedding is on the lighter side, which seems typical for the climate here). Aircon was strong and reliable. The kitchen had the basics, which allowed for simple meals. It features an old-fashioned, match-lit gas oven and stovetop, which was fun for us—especially showing our kids how it works! That said, some guests might find it a bit tricky, and the oven didn’t generate as much heat as expected. On the plus side, the fridge and freezer are generously sized, and having an ice tray was a bonus for cold drinks. The hosts, Jonathan and Ana, were incredibly responsive, friendly, and kind. Ana is usually next door in the little store and was very helpful. Thank you

I stayed for 2 weeks at edgars place, i really enjoyed it. Edgar is verry friendly and helpfull, the place is nice and specially the rooftop is just amazing and of top of that you have hushy an verry friendly and kind husky :)

It was safe for a family with children. Close to a bank, food and the main road

A very clean and modern apartment in the center of Puerto Ayora. John is an amazing host who goes out of his way to make sure his guests are well cared for. He arranged private transportation from the airport to the rental which included stops for a quick hike and a tour of the tortoise ranch with lava tunnels on the way. I would highly recommend this rental and will stay here again if I’m back in Galápagos.

Conny’s apartment worked very well for us. We love the fact that it had a washer and dryer, filtered water and a very comfortable bed. The air conditioning in the bedroom was very important since we were here in March, during a very warm and humid spell. There was often very little airflow and per our request they promptly provided a fan for the apartment which was a great help. Conny was very accommodating. And she went out of her way to be helpful with suggestions and responsive to our requests. It is slightly less than a 10 minute walk to the dock and main areas of town.

We spent three wonderful days at Andre's place. It was spacious and clean, the kitchen was fully equipped, there was a washing machine and clothes drying rack, and the communication with Andre was also smooth.

Our family of 5 stayed here for 6 days and used this great little home as a base to explore the island by foot and by taxi. It was perfect. The lovely host ensured we had water and tended to anything needed. A great little place to stay, with a perfect balance of being a decent walk to town each day (incidental exercise, we love it!) and not being too far away from anything. Of course, you can also hail a cab for a couple of bucks if you don't feel like walking. The house had everything we needed. Great the hot water worked (we have accepted it either way due to being such a goo size and such good value - but it was great). It was big enough to use as a comfortable base to explore the island, and even has an outdoor patio area to watch the world go by and let the kids play. Perfect for couples or families wanting some space on a modest budget. Stop here, enjoy, and wander to the restaurants when you feel it to enjoy some humble, spacious, quality island time. Disfruten!

My friend and I loved staying here! We were greeted and welcomed in with some amazing orange juice. The balcony at night with the chairs were a great place to hang out at night and just relax. Wish we could’ve stayed longer and will be back!

Fantastic stay at Sun & Wind. Beautiful grounds and spacious unit with everything we needed. HUGE master bath and kitchen! Would definitely stay again.

Highly recommended with a great host 😃 Lugar tranquil, apartment cozy, nice, very well shared in its areas. Don Ernesto always willing to give his help, you have the option to take taxi for 1.50 or for those who like to walk can do it safely. I hope to have the opportunity to travel again!!

Beautiful house in the heart of nature. Full of wood, you feel like in the forest. Very clean and very well equipped - a dream home. It is not in the center of city, but easy reachable and the view from the terrace is worth the journey. You would like to buy it and stay there forever:) and the owners are just amazing:) A beautiful house in the heart of nature, smelling of wood. Staying at this apartment in Puerto Ayora was such a special experience. The space was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect—just a short walk to everything, but still quiet and peaceful. And the breakfast... honestly, it was unbelievable. Fresh, delicious, and made with so much care—it was one of the highlights of our mornings. But what truly made this place unforgettable were Verónica and Javier. They treated us like family from the moment we arrived. Always available, always kind, and incredibly helpful with organizing tours and making sure we had the best possible experience. Their warmth and attention to detail made all the difference. We left feeling grateful—and already dreaming of coming back.

Enrique Veronica and Javier were excellent host during our stay for the week. Not only did we have breakfast every morning exactly when we asked there was a variety of different items that were served. Additionally, Veronica helped out immensely with tours and even getting our laundry done. We would highly recommend this location and in future trips we will stay again. Excellent Recommended Place, Close to the Pier and Food Places

We liked this place so much that we came back for a second stay. The hosts are super kind and very helpful. The pool is wonderful. The room is great. Location is nice. Breakfast is yummy. Hard to beat a place like this.

What an open peaceful space! The porch was spectacular and we spent a lot of time sitting out there. It was an easy walk to almost anything. The AlMar restaurant was a three minute walk with delicious food and drinks as well as being right on the water. We loved how open and airy the space was and the air conditioning was much appreciated especially for sleeping! Thank you to Matthew for meeting us and answering all our questions!
