Family-friendly vacation rentals in Santa Cruz de La Palma

A beautiful lovely house at a spectacular location and very friendly and communicative hosts. Our whole family with children and grandchildren enjoyed it very much.

This was one of the best properties I’ve stayed at in many years in Airbnb. Authentic, clean, spacious with a spectacular view and great facilities (spa, pool, pickleball). It was well positioned to be out of the main town but close enough to get to if you wanted. I genuinely didn’t want to leave. Octavio was a very attentive and experienced host. Highly recommend staying here.

Fuente la Teja is a true paradise. It is beautifully located, very calm. I was able to recover very, very well from stress there and finally sleep well after a long time. For me as an author, it was an inspiring place to write. The whole complex is perfectly maintained, everything is tip top clean. It is unimaginable how much work that must have been to make the system shine again after the volcanic eruption. How lucky it was that it was preserved. The tranquility has a price. Of course, shops and cities are further away. This means driving through the lava field and the mountain. That's what you need to know and decide for yourself what's important to you. Yes, some apartments are connected by a door, which is very practical for families. Of course, this is then hard of hearing. Pepe and Carol are warm, friendly, knowledgeable and perfect hosts who are always approachable and helpful.

superb stay at Gonzalo's, the house is beautiful, very pleasant, quiet and close to the capital, a shaded courtyard to relax. Gonzalo's mom is lovely, very helpful, a nice meetup. Thank you Gonzalo and Charo, we hope to be back soon!

The villa is great! Everything was like the pictures, everything was very clean and the kitchen has everything needed to cook meals. Communication with the host was clear and easy. Would definitely go back!

We had a fantastic week at Miguel Ángel's house. Marian welcomed us and showed us everything, with a loving touch. We were delighted with the pool, the views, the tranquility, everything. The house is very clean, tidy, functional, you can't ask for more. Super comfortable beds (important!!!). They welcomed us with a bottle of wine and fruit, a great touch. At Villa Tajuya, they take care of their guests with care and affection. We'll be back for sure. Thank you very much, Marian!

We have spent a week in November, and we have truly been very comfortable. The apartments are perfect, everything very new, very clean and very well kept. Our plane was arriving at night and they came to pick us up in El Paso to show us the way, which was a detail. They also left us a high chair and crib for the little one. Having a rental car, the location is perfect because it is very close to El Paso, Los Llanos, Tazacorte and Puerto Naos but in a very quiet place. We will definitely repeat if we are back on the island.

An authentic stay in a perfectly managed finca. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, high above the blue Atlantic, close to many trails. This was the real Isla Bonita experience. We can happiliy confirm the positive impression of all guests that have reviewed the place already. We would definitely love to return.

Country house. Very bright, clean, with everything you need. In a very nice environment. Comfortable beds. Radiators in the bedrooms. Very good communication with the host, always ready to help. The area is secluded, if you are looking for peace and quiet it is fine. A car is necessary.

Jeanine’s place is in a stunning location in the mountains overlooking Santa Cruz de la Palma. Jeanine met us when we arrived. The house is tastefully decorated, and she took time to explain how everything in the house worked. We had a little trouble finding the place, but that was our fault. If you come, make sure you use the GPS coordinates she gives you or put in Barranco del Rio, 110. Airbnb gives GPS coordinates but they’re not the correct ones. Other than that, everything was terrific, and we would be delighted to come back on a future visit!

Very well maintained and cozy house with garden and beautiful outdoor area. The pool is small but more than sufficient for us. Everything very clean and appealing. Maria took great care of all the wishes.

Beautiful accommodation in the middle of a very well-kept utility garden and with an absolute feel-good atmosphere. We felt very welcome. I would recommend a rental car for this place. Top location to discover La Palma day by day in all directions.

The authentic finca is in a beautiful setting in an ideal location to explore the entire island in 1 week. We didn't see Henry or Maria, but there were some incredibly friendly helpful staff (Christa and the young couple) who helped us very well. The curtain in the bathroom needs to be replaced but we always had that up so we could enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains. Furthermore, the cottage is equipped with everything you would need. Recommended!

As a family with two children (11 years and 15 years), we would like to share our experience with Jorge and his Airbnb accommodation in El Paso in La Palma. Our stay at his house was pleasant. The location provided great views on the island and the sea, and we were able to use the pool with great mountain views every day. The house was clean, cozy, and well equipped, and Jorge was a friendly host who took care of our well-being. Communication went smoothly, and he gave us useful tips for things to do in the area. Particularly noteworthy is the spacious terrace, where we could eat our dinner every evening and admire the surroundings. Overall, our stay at Jorge's place in El Paso was a great experience, and we can recommend his place. We'll be happy to come back! Thank you, Jorge, for the time!

The location is really fantastic, extremely quiet and beautiful views. Unfortunately, it was often too windy to be outside, but there was a cozy fireplace for heating. Contact with Elias was very pleasant, he was very helpful and considerate. By car you can easily reach all supermarkets near!

We stayed at Moni's place for 7 days to explore the Isla Bonita! It is a little gem in the hillside, with everything you need. Moni kept in communication with us and helped us out with any items that we needed during our stay. The views from here are beautiful, day and night. You also have a view of Volcán de Tajogaite and its destruction. The wildlife and peaceful sounds of nature at this location are lovely. It is a great place to relax and unwind. There are a few other apartments in this complex which share the pool but we heard no other noise from these either. We didn't try the pool as the weather was a little turbulent during our stay, but it looked clean and its likely lovely in the summer. You can see a lot of stars from this location as well, even with the light pollution from Los Llanos, but you aren't far away from driving somewhere without the light! Overall a great find if you are visiting La Palma and want something different from hotels and busy areas!

Beautiful clean house, exactly as described and shown in the photos. Quiet location and ideal for relaxing for a day or to explore other places on the island from there.

We arrived as a couple with a small dog. The entire grounds with the really fantastic garden are fenced, so that the dog could easily move freely. The contact went smoothly and very friendly. The furnishings are rustic but totally cozy and everything you need is available. The bed was very comfortable and super clean. All in all, we loved it and I'm sure we'll come back as guests 😀👍🏻

The apartment is cozy and very practical, it has everything. It was a very comfortable stay. The location is very good, close to Santa Cruz and very nice beach areas. Jorge is very friendly and was attentive, always responding quickly to anything. We look forward to repeating as soon as possible. Highly recommended

Very beautiful and cute accommodation, walking access to natural pools, with a nice view. Nearby parking on foot, comfortable beds. Mini downside the shower lacks pressure but other than that everything is great, we will be happy to come back!
