Great location, great place to stay. We have stayed here a few times and it’s always clean and the amenities are great.

Had a great time! Geoff and Annika were great hosts. The sauna was so nice after a long hike. The place was clean, peaceful private, and easy to get to. Easy check in and out.

Great spot right next to the beach. We watched the sunset on the beach, took bike rides to the pier and spent countless hours in the jacuzzi. Check in was seamless and the garage was an added bonus. Keep in mind that it's a tight squeeze and an SUV will probably not fit in there. The host was very responsive and took care of an initial issue with the hot tub. It was one of the main reasons we booked it and we were glad he responded quickly.

We had an incredible visit to Santa Barbara staying here! Everything looked just like the pictures and the back patio was gorgeous. We loved the quick walk up to the beach and had no problem with taking the time to walk into downtown. We really appreciated Maddi’s recommendations for food, drinks, and hikes. Very convenient place, highly recommend!

Jason is an amazing host. He is very responsive and helpful. The cute place has everything you need for either a short term or a long term stay. It’s quiet but it has a lot of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Definitely will come back next time we visit Thousand Oaks.

As always when we've stayed before it was a marvelous experience, quiet, comfortable, & peaceful. The place was clean, prepared & well supplied for guests. We loved the closeness of the beach, however, the defining aspect for us is feeling relaxed & rejuvenated with each stay.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place is as beautiful as the pictures and we loved being able to walk to the main drag with tons of restaurants and coffee shops in Montecito, as well as Butterfly beach. We enjoyed relaxing at the house and kept the windows/doors open in the afternoon for the fresh ocean breeze and enjoyed cooking dinner at the house one of the nights. The jacuzzi was lovely.

I think one of the strongest points of this Airbnb is the location, although you have to navigate windy roads, you find yourself at the very top of Malibu; the epic views and peaceful vibe make it well worth the drive. The Airbnb sits beneath the main house; although it is private, you are not detached. I had no issue as the host Nicholas is a wonderful man, a great communicator, and was very helpful. A blissful stay for me!

Spacious, clean lodgings on the first floor of an older home with very quiet renters upstairs. It worked great for our two-week stay in Ventura.

The loft is exactly as described and surrounded by so many charming places to eat, shop, and relax. Paul has created an efficient and lovely loft. Oliver is super responsive, and all the instructions were very clear. It's near the freeway, so you can pop over to Santa Barbara or Carpinteria in 10 minutes. There is a bit of freeway noise, so earplugs might be helpful for light sleepers. But at night, it's a mix of ocean waves and light freeway hum, so it served as white noise for me to sleep really well on the comfy bed. A great location with great hosts!

Place was dry clean and the views were amazing. Very private. Kitchen was well stocked. If you’re a light sleeper the waves crashing can be a bit much at night.

Julie and Steven’s spot was a perfect, peaceful getaway. Surrounded by the Santa Monica mountains, it’s only a short ride into town, making it easy to spend the day at the beach and come back to the quiet in the evening. I came home from the trip well-rested, the mark of a great staycation. Thanks, Julie and Steven!

My Mom and I planned a wine weekend a few weeks out and were happy to find an airbnb that would be affordable, close to the wineries and restaurants we were looking at—and comfortable. My mom hasn’t stayed in many airbnbs and even though I often stay in others homes with them or on their properties, I didn’t want her to feel awkward or uncomfortable. This place was perfect and easy. Clean, spacious, private and comfortable. A lot of thoughtful touches and clarifying signs. We would definitely stay here again if returning to the area. Hosts were available and communicative, but gave us lots of space.

Christina’s place was absolutely lovely. A really sweet little place that has everything you need in beautiful surroundings. It was really comfortable and peaceful. I would recommend and would absolutely stay again.

We had a great stay, everything was nice and was just as listed. I would say if you have PTSD you should be a bit careful since the waves do vibrate the property at times. Everything was beautiful and the host were so responsive. I would definitely stay again.

Loved staying here! Joel was great - very thoughtful and responsive and made us feel comfortable! He added a lot of little touches that shows he really cares about his guests. The space was clean and full of the amenities we could have wanted. I wasn’t aware that we weren’t quite staying in a separate guest house but instead the bottom floor of the home he lives in. We could hear his big sweet dog running around upstairs - FYI in case you’re worried about noise. The drive between the house and main road takes about 3-4 minutes and is extremely steep with winding sharp turns on the side of a hill - wish I would’ve known that at booking, as it felt treacherous enough that I didn’t want to do the drive in the dark and thus felt the need to always be back at the house before sunset. All in all though, it was a great stay and the views were beautiful and have no regrets about it!

Comfortable stay for our first time in Santa Barbara! Located within minutes of the beach and a quick drive to downtown. Highly recommend!

Our stay was lovely and the place was perfect for me, my husband, and our two friends! Would definitely book this spot again!

This was our first time visiting Carpinteria and we enjoyed our stay here very much. Elena allowed both of our small dogs to stay with us, the beach was only about 2 minutes away, and most of the downtown area was very walkable. We also enjoyed walking along the trails of the Salt Marsh Nature Park which was across the street from us. The apartment was very clean and was fine for the two of us and our two small dogs. The only negative was that the people above us were very loud at times after 10pm and also before 8am. Elena was a wonderful host and we hope to back again some time soon for another stay. Thanks again Elena!

Cute and cozy studio with a kitchenette in a neighborhood close to freeway, UCSB and strip mall with grocery store, Starbucks, etc. The Gerrits asked what we needed for our coffee ahead of time and provided the decaf Keurig cups and oatmilk that we preferred. They also provided free bottled water and snacks too which was much appreciated! We stayed during a very warm weekend so we slept with the window open and fan on. Not sure if there is A/C in the unit though so check with the host if that’s a must have.

The inside was newly remodeled; nice and clean. It’s a .5 mile walk to East Beach.

We had the most incredible stay! The property is stunning. Amenities in the unit are well beyond expectations and the hosts are gracious and thoughtful. They left a generous welcome basket with note and had everything we needed in the gorgeously appointed room. The bed was comfortable and the furniture was beautiful. Everything felt brand new and we wished we could have stayed for much longer. We'll definitely be back!

Sean and catherine were great host and communicated very well thru the process. Nice layout with 2-BR and 1.5 baths. Location was great. 5min to downtown Montecito and 5min fun zone and beach at Santa Barbara. And across from bird sanctuary which was a nice walking trail and relaxing to listen to the birds chirp away. A few issues were parking was tricky with larger SUV but manageable. Beds are memory foam so a bit hard but comfortable. The noise from hwy 101 took a few nights to adjust for one of the bedrooms with window open. Sean did offer late check out at NC which was very nice. We enjoyed are stay and Sean and Catherine were great!
