A very cozy house, no lack of detail, it makes you feel from the first minute as if you were at home, the garden is very nice with very nice views. The kitchen is very well equipped. Look, a good host, she explained some routes, highly recommended! If we needed anything it was staying at the wing gate. Summarizing we seek tranquility and relaxation, we find it exceeding our expectations. Thank you Mireia, we will be back!

The rental was exactly as pictured and in a fantastic location. We visited in March so there were a lot of lemons on the tree in the garden and the start of many figs on the fig tree! We didn't partake but it made the place feel connected with nature a bit more even though it's in an urban area. The rental was clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment, linens, towels, and even some nice welcome drinks and snacks. The shower head broke and the host was able to get a replacement ready for pickup nearby in less than a day and actually seemed like an upgrade. The host was very responsive and even though we speak very limited Spanish/Catalan we were able to communicate very well. We are in love with Mataró now and hope to be back soon.

The house is large, the terrace is the same. La Selva de mar has the advantage of calm (there is no car in the village) right next to Port de la selva and the monastery of Sant Pere, with extra soul and typicity, especially compared to the large seaside resorts of the Gulf of Roses. In short: perfect for a few days with the family, 5 minutes by bike from the beach...

My husband and I stayed here for an entire month in September and it was perfect for us. We loved sitting on the balcony every morning watching the fishing boats come in, and every evening as the city lights came on. It’s a 10 minute walk down the hill into the heart of town, which is close enough to enjoy the beach and restaurants but far enough to be relatively quiet and have private parking. Marea’s home is very comfortable, and Sant Feliu is the perfect home base for exploring all of Costa Brava. We paddled and hiked nearly the whole coast from Tossa de Mar to Port Lligat/Cadaqués. We would definitely stay here again!
