Tuscan Nature Views From Casa Gave

The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax). The apartment, with separate entrance, is composed as follows: - kitchen-living room with wood burning fireplace complete with all appliances, microwave, kettle and TV; - double bedroom with wardrobe and sofa bed. Removable baby bed available on request; - bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet. The property was completely renovated in 2017 respecting the original features, such as ceilings with chestnut beams, local stone walls, chestnut window frames and wrought iron gates. The furniture are made of wood recovered from the original beams. Outside there are a pergola covered by a wisteria where you can relax or eat and a bbq available for lunches and dinners. A ping-pong table and table football are also available. As we live next to the apartment we are available for any need of the guest. The home is in a natural setting with multiple areas for scenic hikes to enjoy. Take a trip to the amazing Lucca or to the Montecarlo vineries, or to the seaside in Versilia, have a spa day at Montecatini Terme, visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, and enjoy authentic cuisine at the local restaurants. WIFI connection available. Crockery, linen and towels provided. Pets welcome. Reserved parking. Breakfast on request.

Un paesino medievale, lontano dal traffico e dallo smog, immerso nei boschi e nella tranquillità. Una casa accogliente con giardino, la mattina ci si sveglia con il cinguettio degli uccelli e la vista sulla vallata. La camera con letto matrimoniale si affaccia sulla valle, quella con 3 letti singoli ha la vista sul giardino. Super mooie tijd gehad. Paolo hielt contact met ons omdat we laat aankwamen, verwelkomde ons bij aankomst. Het huisje is ontzettend lieve karakteristieke plek je met een prachtig uitzicht. Erg minimalistisch maar alles wat je nodig hebt. Perfecte plek om even weg van de drukte te zijn.

Een onvergetelijke ervaring. Een perfect verblijf om samen met je beste vrienden te boeken: een bijzonder sfeervol ingericht huisje met een zeer gezellige woonkeuken. Er stond zelfs een schaal met heerlijke verse eitjes voor het ontbijt voor ons klaar. Alles werkte en niets was kapot of verwaarloosd. Beide slaapkamers met aangrenzende badkamers perfect in orde. Zelden zo'n lekker bed gehad. Kraakhelder, fris en prima matrassen. Het uitzicht was echt fenomenaal. Daar hebben we zo van genoten. Het zwembad was helaas nog niet geopend, daarvoor waren we nog te vroeg in het seizoen. We komen hier zeker nog eens terug. Het was een prima uitvalsbasis voor de grotere steden in de omgeving. Kortom; wij hebben afgelopen 5 dagen optimaal genoten met z'n vieren! Zeker een aanrader en in alles de moeite dubbel en dwars waard.

Amazing host, location and home! The great listed building had a lift, which was very handy for our elderly parents, flat was beautifully furnitured with all amenities and more (better than pictures). Great communication from the host and had no problem with parking our car right in front of the building. Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in “all’ombra del lauro” Het huis is groot genoeg voor ons vieren en onze hond. Het heeft ook veel originele Toscaanse kenmerken en is eenvoudig maar smaakvol ingericht. We hebben ook veel tijd buiten kunnen doorbrengen vanwege het mooie weer. Overdag in de schaduw van de laurierboom, ‘s avonds in het bubbelbad genieten van het uitzicht en de ondergaande zon. Het is hier heerlijk rustig en stil, het enige wat we horen zijn de vogels die fluiten. De locatie is een prima plek als uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. Met steden als Florence, Pisa en Lucca in de buurt hebben we ons niet hoeven vervelen. Ook de plaatsen hier in de omgeving waren het bezoeken zeker waard.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Claudio, le logement est très propre, confortable et offre une superbe vue sur la Toscane. La vallée de la Valériane où se situe Castelvecchio est magnifique, le plus haut village Pontito n’est qu’à 15 mn. Nous y retournerons avec beaucoup de plaisir !

Una chicca sul cucuzzolo della montagna. Abbiamo soggiornato con amici in questo borgo incantato, forse non scegliendo proprio la stagione migliore (marzo) e non prendendo bel tempo, abbiamo comunque potuto godere di un panorama a dir poco mozzafiato dalla finestra della cucina da cui si domina una valle incantata immersa nelle nuvole. L'appartamento è grazioso, vezzoso, arredato in modo colorato e carino. Le camere sono confortevoli, una con bagno in camera molto utile per un minimo di privacy se si condivide l'appartamento con amici. Debby che ci ha assistito all'arrivo e Francesco che è il proprietario sono entrambi persone squisite. Per chi cera una vacanza in un piccolo borgo incantato lontano dal caos cittadino questo è il posto perfetto, meglio non soffrire il mal d'auto perchè per arrivarci ci sono parecchie curve.. ma che bel posto!
