Vacation rentals with a patio in San Miniato

Tammy and Eme were wonderful hosts. My wife and I booked for quite a long stay as part of a sabbatical in Italy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Casa al Poggio is in a quiet location, surrounded by spectacular countryside, between two small towns, each charming in its own way, and with easy access to both Florence and Siena. Tammy and Eme offered great recommendations regarding places to explore in the local area and a host of tips that helped us get the most out of our stay. We absolutely intend to return and stay with them again.

Very central location, apartment was very modern and clean. Enjoyed our stay but would highlight that the apartment is hard to access with large luggage and/or elderly guests, otherwise would highly recommend.

It was a beautiful stay right in the heart of Florence with a Duomo view! We loved the location and ambience of the area. We felt extremely safe in the neighborhood and everything was walking distance. Can’t beat a better location for all things Florence!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung! 😊 Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass zwei Fahrräder inklusive waren – so konnten wir die Umgebung bequem erkunden. Miriam hat uns herzlich begrüßt und uns mit vielen hilfreichen Tipps zur Umgebung versorgt. Der Obstkorb und die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten haben den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts – besonders die hervorragende Küchenausstattung hat uns begeistert. Auch die flexiblen An- und Abreisezeiten haben wir sehr geschätzt. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Miriam für ihre Unterstützung und Gastfreundschaft. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Ferienwohnung nur weiterempfehlen!

We were there at the end of the season. It was very beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. All of the host were awesome!! They were extremely helpful and friendly. The landscaping was immaculate. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!! It felt like home.

Credo uno dei b&b più belli che io abbia girato. Un ambiente arredato con gusto e con una vista speciale dall’area breakfast fornita e curata nei minimi dettagli come tutta la casa, è stato bello anche farsi la doccia in quel bagno! Non lo abbiamo goduto a pieno dato che ci siamo appoggiati qui per andare al Mugello (sconsiglio se si vuole fare tardi e partire di notte dal circuito), la strada è relativamente poca ma non è la migliore opzione se si vuole stare comodi nell’arrivare al circuito. Un posto invece ideale dove scappare per trovare tranquillità, silenzio e natura e godere a pieno di quello che offre questo posto speciale✨🍃

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, wunderschöne Anlage mit grossem Garten/Pool und super Lage für Unternehmungen in der näheren Umgebung mit dem Auto (u.a. San Gimignano, Florenz, Siena) sowie gute Erreichbarkeit von Restaurants in der Umgebung (z.B. in San Gimignano). Das Appartement ist gut eingerichtet und mit dem Nötigsten für einige Tage Aufenthalt ausgestattet (auch Küche, Bad). Wir können die Unterkunft ohne Weiteres empfehlen. Einziger Punkt: hat man das Appartement im Haus des Gastgebers gebucht, muss man die Ringhörigkeit des Hauses (auch mitten in der Nacht) akzeptieren können.

First things first, Simona's attention to detail is amazing. Everything is so clean and professional. The apartment was even cooled down when we arrived, just how we liked it! The overall apartment was like in the pictures and the yard of the apartment was really nice. However the apartment is really quite small when the sofa is made to an bed. The outside yard helps with this a lot and is huge plus. It feels like an extension to the apartment. Simona recommended us some restaurants, we tried one called Mamma Pizza and found it awesome. She really has good recommendations and communication with her is really easy. The neighborhood of the apartment is nice and quiet and many places like the store and restaurants are within walking distance.

Un de nos meilleurs séjours assurément !!!! Mattéo est un hôte très aidant et prévenant. La maison est juste un petit bijou au sommet de cette colline...une vue sur un paysage Toscan très inspirant du côté de la piscine (qui est une très jolie piscine)...bien que partagée nous avons été toujours seuls à en profiter !! La terrasse où l'on prenait nos repas est très agréable avec ces fortes chaleurs. La situation de la maison permet de rayonner dans la Toscane...Lucca, Sienna, Volterra, San Gimignano....et nous avons pu pousser jusqu'au Jardin des Tarots de Niki de Saint Phalle. Nous recommandons fortement un séjour chez Mattéo...et pensons y retourner une autre fois.

Wonderful home for our family of four including a one year old and three year old. Authentic, private, clean and in an amazing location with a beautiful view. This was our favourite Airbnb of all time.

La Capella was beautiful! Titti was there to welcome us and made sure we had everything we needed. This stay is in between the beautiful Tuscany country and the city of Florence. Perfect to get both experiences! We would absolutely stay here again!

Villino Isotta è un alloggio che lascia senza fiato, super in ogni aspetto: posizione, pulizia, tutte le camere da letto sono climatizzate, le cucine ed i bagni ampiamente accessoriati, a pochi passi parcheggio gratuito e un caffè aperto fino a tarda sera. All'esterno un patio con vista sulle colline e poi il barbecue, e infine piscina dotata di ogni confort (doccia calda, vasca idromassaggio, lettini, wifi, ecc ecc). Ultimo ma non ultimo l'host Andrea, che ringrazio per l'incredibile e costante attenzione nei riguardi dei suoi ospiti dal primo istante (accogliendoci con un aperitivo di benvenuto) fino all'ultimo. Sempre presente ma mai invadente, sempre disponibile con consigli per rendere il soggiorno indimenticabile, una persona dal cuore immenso che gestisce con passione e serietà questo alloggio. E' stata dura tornare a casa, ci rivedremo sicuramente!

Akribisch renoviertes und liebevoll möbliertes altes Steinhaus mit 2 begrünten Terrassen am Rande eines Weilers, umgeben von Olivenhainen, völlig ruhig, keine weitere Infrastruktur. A/C mit Heizfunktion. Küche bestens ausgestattet (Geräte, Geschirr, Utensilien, Gewürze, Öl , Spüli etc.) Modernes Bad, ausreichend frische Handtücher. 2 Schlafzimmer (Durchgang) und Bad/WC im Obergeschoss, Wohnzimmer und Küche im 1. Stock. Im Untergeschoss separates kleines Appartement mit Bad/WC und Küche und Waschmaschine. Zur Begrüßung erwarteten uns Wein, Wasser und ein Frühstück. In Empoli (ca 10 min.) großes Einkaufszentrum, Geschäfte und Lokale. Wer antike Architektur und Möbel, Natur und Ruhe liebt wird sich wie wir sehr wohlfühlen! 🤩 Aufgrund mehrerer steiler Treppen für Kleinkinder und mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen nicht zu empfehlen. Piękna okolica, idealne miejsce wypadowe do zwiedzania Toskanii. Super miejsce dla rodzin z dziećmi (dostępne łóżeczko dla dzieci, a nawet barierka do łóżka dla dzieci które śpią z rodzicami 😉). Nicolo odpowiadał na wszystkie nasze potrzeby, a samo mieszkanie oddaje w pełni toskański klimat 😀 bardzo polecamy!

Everything was as expected and better. Lovely home with air conditioning downstairs and in both upstairs bedrooms. Beautiful garden in the back and shared swimming pool very close by.

Jonny heeft een prachtig appartement, met een schitterend terras. Het huis is heel sfeervol met veel kunst en planten. Je voelt je er meteen thuis. Het is ruim en voor vier personen was het heerlijk. Als je gastvrij wil worden ontvangen op een heerlijke plek in Florence ben je hier op het juiste adres.

We had a quick stop in Pisa so Pauline’s place was perfect. Good walk from train station and to the Tower. Pizzeria just across from the outside door was spectacular. Very friendly and close when you are just beat from a day of travel. Pauline’s apartment was clean and ready for us. AC was great for the little heat wave we had. Slept great. Even prior to booking the apartment, the host were very responsive to our questions. Once we booked it, they were very proactive and welcoming us to the apartment. Flexible check-in and they met us at the property. The pictures don’t do it justice. Felt like home. They were very responsive during our trip. Great quiet location. 10 minutes walking to the Domo area. Local area, full of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

Daniela’s place was pretty and clean, exactly as described: within a block of the tram which was 4 stops (8 minutes) into Florence downtown. We chose this apartment specifically because we had a rental car and knew we couldn’t drive into Florence city center and this was exactly as described. Very comfortable, pretty and clean! There is a great supermarket nearby, a pizza restaurant and an amazing gelato place (Leoncino’s)- seriously, go there! Daniela was very responsive and everything was great!

Absolutely loved our stay! Deanna is so sweet & gave us some lovely recommendations. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

Staying at Fabrizio’s place in Florence was an absolute pleasure. From the moment i booked, Fabrizio was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. He provided clear directions, great local recommendations, and made check-in smooth and easy. The apartment itself was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The location was perfect: close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. Fabrizio clearly takes pride in being a great host, and it shows. We felt very welcome and well taken care of. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. Grazie mille, Fabrizio!

It is a compact apartment. There is a small elevator that works well, but there’s still a flight of stairs to get up to the unit. Once you get up there, the view is amazing. The apartment lives much larger because of the terrace. We had some extremely hot days but the air conditioning worked great. Try the Dyson filter fan too, it really adds to the comfort. There’s a nice bakery/Café directly across the street with wonderful pastries for the morning and the market about a 10 minute walk away is wonderful for fresh fruits and salads.

Absolutely loved the location of the apartment, right in the middle of the city center. Everything was walkable 😍 The room was exactly as advertised and Alessandra was a superb host, friend, responsive and great recommendations. I recommend to go here if you are about to visit Florence
