Family-friendly vacation rentals in San Miguel de Allende

Our stay at Pola's house was excellent, the description is exact, the house is Mexican style, beautifully decorated with crafts, spacious, very well equipped , not a new house, as she herself indicates, but well maintained, comfortable and pleasant. The pool is a plus, my grandchildren and her parents also enjoyed it very much, the water at a pleasant temperature. The pool table was great family entertainment. The house is not located in the center of San Miguel de Allende but in a quiet and beautiful colony a five minute drive from downtown and very close to shopping centers. Pola is an accessible person, nice, friendly and with very good recommendations to enjoy a few days of vacation to the fullest. Highly recommended!

A very comfortable house to relax with friends or family. The amenities are in excellent condition and the pool is very clean. A place to enjoy a stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommended!

EXCELLENT HOST, GOOD FACILITIES AND IMPECCABLE CLEANLINESS

Everything was very good... the house in good condition, the amenities according to what was announced, Brenda's attention well... my only comment is that the kitchen is far from the house (but it is advertised that it is not inside the room). The restaurant with poor attention and very late, but I know it is managed by the place.

Everything was excellent. The only thing is that the internet is not very good, but we realized that it is like that throughout the area, not just in the accommodation

This was a fabulous location to stay in in SMA. My family of 13 was so comfortable; plenty of room. The place was absolutely gorgeous. Rosario and her sister Lolita took care of every need. Rosario‘s cooking was amazing we only got to have dinner one night because we had so many plans but the morning breakfasts were fabulous And always a supply of chips and salsa during the day for anyone to snack on. I 100% would recommend this place to anyone visiting San Miguel de Allende . five days was not enough! Many of my guests did walk to and from town but others chose to Uber/taxi and that was very easy. We did some wonderful hiking tours , music tours , ATV excursions and lots of fun shopping and fantastic restaurants. We were visiting for a family wedding but I would certainly go back. Thank you Nancy for offering this fabulous location and thank you to Rosario for making us feel so welcome.

Excellent location for a family to visit San Miguel.

Great place to stay close to Zona Centro. Would definitely stay again. The toilet space is a little tight but that was the only concern with this place. Host were friendly and very responsive.

We had a lovely stay! The home is exactly as described and very comfortable. It was very good to have one bedroom downstairs as I use a walker. The place has a great location! I did give five stars! I was going to take off one , but I realize that I am an extremely picky person and may focus on details most would not. If you are looking for a good space, comfortable, with plenty of bathrooms and good location, this is the place.

Isela and Alfonso were amazing hosts. Alfonso was very attentive and responsive throughout our stay and helped organize drivers to and from Queretaro airport. It was our first time in San Miguel and we were blown away. The location in Zona Centro made the experience so much better. Beautiful ciudad, casa, y experiencia! Would definitely stay here again! Can't recommend this property enough!

If only every airbnb could be like this… The place itself is fantastic, especially the kitchen, completely stocked and high quality stuff. Awesome location close enough to all the action, but on a nice quiet side street. And Stacy was super responsive and helpful with everything. It’s a no brainer to book this place if you’re going to visit San Miguel.

Rain's place is absolutely gorgeous and very well equipped. It's also very conveniently located. We enjoyed walking to different restaurants every day. At certain times (like 5pm) the noise from the neighborhood was a bit much for a noise-phobe like me. But I got used to it, and even rented another unit in this complex for a longer stay next time.

My wife and I, and our kitty, very much enjoyed Eric and Evette's lovely home. It's spacious, private, comfortable, pretty, and remarkably quiet for being so close to a main road, the "Ancha." Always super communication with the hosts. The housekeeper is a delight and does excellent work: the house is spotless. The location is wonderful, with abundant restaurants nearby, and it's less than a 10-minute walk to a terrific grocery store, City Market. It's also only a 10-minute Uber or taxi ride to the main square, or a 20-minute bus ride, or a 30'ish minute walk. Our cat loved the garden, where he played freely. And we appreciated that the property is surrounded by high walls, so we weren't concerned about his safety. If someone is mobility impaired, please be advised the stairs to the bedrooms and rooftop are a tad steep. It's not a big deal though: one of us is mobility challenged, and we did fine. All in all, we had a terrific stay and we highly recommend this home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bill and Carole’s rental. Great location so close to town and the house was beautiful. If anyone has mobility issues, this wouldn’t be your place as there are lots of stairs but that is true of most places in San Miguel. Just keeps one fit! Bill and Carole were exceptionally responsive when we had a question. Really incredible hosts.

The place is amazing. Great space, quiet and clean. It is per friendly so that was super important for us. It has a beautiful terrace too. The check in is a little complicated as we needed codes for each car and we didn’t know that until we got there. Oscar was easy to reach out and solved it for us. It is very close to San Miguel Center but you do need to be able to walk, as there is a very steep hill that you HAVE to walk to get in and out from the condo. We recommend the place, it’s amazing and would love to be back.

This may be the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. The gated security makes you feel so safe, the home is beautiful and comfortable, and the host was responsive, friendly, and extremely helpful when we needed her. And a great value for the price. Highly recommend!

This was a great stay for my husband and our dog. Pictures are accurate, location convenient, quiet and safe area. The beds were comfortable, place clean and very nicely decorated. The internet was great and our cell phones worked fine. Daniela was a wonderful hostess as well available if we needed anything. We didn’t need anything though as the house was well stocked as described. Would definitely stay again when we come back to San Miquel de Allende!!

This is probably my favorite Airbnb of all of the ones I’ve stayed in , and there have been many. The blend of old and new from the doors, windows, terraces, bathtub, fireplaces to the quality of the bedding, pillows, etc. create a unique and beautiful space topped off by a rooftop terrace and stunning views of the city. I cannot wait to come back!

Everything was excellent. Host was super responsive and made us feel right at home. Charming, very spacious, clean home. We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay in this peaceful and beautiful home. We loved the neighborhood, it was quiet but friendly, had several little grocery stores nearby plus a tortilla shop, meat shop and fruit and vegetable shop. We met a few ex pat neighbors who were also very friendly. We walked to the centro every day, an easy downhill 20-25 minute walk and then took a taxi back for the uphill climb in the heat of the afternoon. The home and garden made us especially love just hanging out when we got back from our daily adventures. Sitting down outside in the shade with a mojito garnished with a lime from the tree in the garden was delightful. A few but not many mosquitoes, no worse than home. Enrique was so helpful and fun, we were good friends by the end of our 8 days. He drove us to many places that we wanted to visit (pay the taxi rate) and suggested nearby restaurants and shops. I am a folk artist and loved all the wonderful art. I would highly recommend this home.

very well appointed and comfortable. the potable water is a great addition on. Barbery and Teresa are very responsive. on Saturday night, as described, it did get loud, but we were prepared. we had a wonderfull stay! best rental yet in Mexico, and we go frequently.
