Guesthouse vacation rentals in San Miguel de Allende

Belen & Paulina (hosts) were very congenial and helpful with suggestions on things to do and places to go. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. It also offered beautiful views. It is centrally located to offer visitors ample things to do within walking distance. If we ever return to San Miguel we would definitely choose Casa Angelina! Mary Catherine and Arthur Chavoya

My wife and I absolutely loved staying here. It was even more beautiful than the pictures. We woke up each morning to a wall of glass and a view of an exquisite garden with a fountain, flowers, palm trees and a large, covered outdoor pavilion. The neighborhood was very quiet and convenient to Parque Juarez and Centro. The shower was spacious and had excellent water pressure. The kitchen area lacked a stove, but otherwise had every machine we needed (blender, coffee maker, induction hot plate, a set of cook cookware, dishware, etc. along with a very large quartz counter top. There was more than enough closet space for our clothes and luggage. There was a large fan and a heater. Chipper was very responsive and went out of her way to help me retrieve my backpack and glasses that I left in another part of the city. The owners, Ken and Wendy, were next door and were always friendly and helpful. We have been going to San Miguel for many years and this was one of our best rentals.

Manuel was a great host. We enjoyed the sweet house and got great exercise walking up the hill. We recommend it to athletic people or people who plan to take taxis up the hill.

Joseph was very helpful. Had good suggestions for activities and dining. Be sure and schedule a massage. City and Airbnb were charming. Little bit of a walk to city center on very uneven cobblestones. But it is downhill, and you can get a cab back for about $5.

I’m really making an effort to think about something that might need improvement as feedback is always useful, but sincerely, I can’t. The house is small but so cozy, well taken care of, with an amazing terrace and amazing surroundings. Nonetheless it’s not the property what sets it apart from the amount of offers in San Miguel. It’s Heidi’s hospitality which encourages people to want to come back, her prompt responses, the thoughtful recommendations and the welcoming details left for the guests to enjoy like fruits, eggs and cereal. That is the value proposition they successfully stand for. The place doesn’t have a parking space but in our case, we found the best spot right in front of the house. Distance from the center is 11 minutes exactly. Perhaps you should consider Uber when returning back as you will have to walk up the hill for less than half of the walk. At night the streets could get somewhat empty but personally, I didn’t feel insecure. Again, amazing hospitality.

This place has a very pleasant natural atmosphere and everything in the house is beautiful! Tania is very nice and her pups are adorable. I will visit your home again when I visit San Miguel de Allende :-)

Casita Boveda is an excellent property--spacious, well appointed, convenienetly located, with two full baths. There is an uphill walk to the Parroquia and Jardin, but it is not very far. There is a major market (traditional style) steps away, and shops of all sorts within easy walking distance. The street is a major thoroughfare, so it is noisy during the day and early evening, but quiet at night once the traffic stops. Several bus lines pass directly in front of the house, which we found very convenient since we took full advantage of the reasonable and thorough bus service. We felt very safe here, since the house is behind a high wall with a double bolted gate, in addition to locks on the doors to the house. There is a long flight of stairs to the front door, but the steps are shallow and easy to navigate.
