Spent 2+ weeks here while my daughter recovered from surgery and we were very comfortable. The unit is new, beautiful and well-apportioned. Parking is easy both in the building and on the street. The beds are really comfortable and everything was very clean. It is just like the photos. There is a delicious bakery in the building that we ended up getting coffee and pastries from most days. The neighborhood has lots of Asian restaurants nearby and is very quiet and walkable. We felt very safe. The peaceful neighborhood is worth the trade off of a more central location as commuting to LA is reasonable. It is close to 10, 110, 210 freeways. Pasadena is also very close by. We would definitely recommend if you are visiting LA. We will definitely book again.

Their warmth and generosity made my stay not just enjoyable, but deeply meaningful. I feel incredibly lucky to have met such wonderful hosts, and I can’t wait to come back! A lovely guesthouse that was perfect for our mother in law when she came to visit us in town. The interior is extremely cozy, even moreso than the photos suggest. The area is a quiet residential neighborhood that is still within short walking distance to Caltech and many of the businesses on Lake Ave. The only potential consideration would be that if you are afraid of dogs, the two dogs are indeed very friendly and that may come off as being a bit intense as the garden is immediately next to the guesthouse. Would definitely stay here again, Laura and Gavin were extremely responsive and friendly and manage a great place.
