Vacation rentals in San Marcos

Had a nice at Oceanside for my Ironman weekend. The apartment is a walking distance from the pier and the harbor, and the beach.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The place was spotless and had everything I needed—including a garage that fit my mid-size car perfectly, which was such a bonus. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by amazing local food spots. Communication with the host was smooth and prompt, from check-in to check-out, and they were super helpful with any questions I had. Would definitely stay here again!

We love this place!! This is our 3rd year in a row staying at Caroline's quaint, PB cottage. It's PERFECT for two and has everything you need. We LOVE the private yard along with the BBQ grill to cook up some fresh veggies and fresh fish. The private parking is awesome and the beach is only a few blocks away. The location has many close by restaurants, beach shops, and a couple of grocery stores within walking distance. We hope to visit San Diego again next year and this will be our place of choice! Caroline is a wonderful host! 🙂

Amazing location! The apartment has floor to ceiling windows and the view of the ocean is spectacular. The beds and couches were comfortable. You can hear the waves crashing because you are so close to the beach. We enjoyed going to sleep to the sound of the waves and going for walks along the water in the mornings. The location was just 15-20 away from every sight we wanted to visit in the San Diego area. We appreciated that there were beach towels, beach chairs and a football to borrow. The laundry machines are down the hall, not in the apartment, if that matters to you. We had no trouble using them.

Great location for the Oceanside Ironman. Plenty of space for my family, kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make meals together and the views from the rooftop patio were amazing. 100 percent would stay here again in the future

Great spot if you have a car to traffic to/from the beaches. Was comfortable for me, my husband, baby, and our au pair, and probably would be a good fit for two couples or a family of 4 (one room was bunks). Amenities were ample, beds were large and comfy, clean. Some good food spots within walking distances, namely The Fish Shop and Kono’s sister restaurant (yummy burritos). Vons, Trader Joe’s, CVS all within walking distance for those looking to cook from home. Thanks for hosting us!

Cute beach cottage with a fantastic location! Just a couple blocks from the beach, but very quiet and no noise issues. We arrived on a Tuesday, and there happens to be a really nice farmers’ market that was just a half block from the house. Excellent communication from the host at every step of the way!

Susan was a wonderful host! She was kind and super helpful. The space was clean and the location was perfect our family. We spent our days walking to the beaches, eating at the pier, swimming in the pool, going to LegoLand, and exploring the Flower Fields. We look forward to coming back again!
