We offer a full service guest house, with a private entrance. With attention to every detail and decorated with a fun mid-century modern flair! It has one bedroom, one bath, kitchen with all the amenities (including a stocked coffee station), and living room featuring a smart tv, and satellite. We offer WIFI as well. Should you need to do laundry, we have a brand new washer and dryer for your convenience. The guest house has a private deck which you will enjoy sipping a local wine on and enjoying the beautiful sunset! We also offer an outdoor table with chairs next to the deck for your enjoyment! From booking, to check out we will be available should you have any questions or as needed. Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We hope to have the chance to meet/greet each one of our guests while they are staying in the guest house, however if that isn't possible we will have all accommodations ready! We also try and be as flexible as possible, please don't hesitate to ask about early check in, or late checkout if needed. We provide a house binder that contains pertinent information and our "favorites list" for the Central Coast area. Shannon and her husband Reggie live in the main home on the property. The guest house is nestled among many beautiful, mature oak trees in a quaint and quiet neighborhood. It’s centrally located close to downtown Atascadero, with easy access to Highway 101 North/South, and Highway 41 to Morro Bay. Uber Pool on site, for homeowners use, (however ask us in advance about our policy and the possibility of using the pool and or hot tub)

Hilltop Guesthouse with a Patio in Atascadero

Fix breakfast in a homey kitchen and dine at a relaxed table beside a Klimt print. Adorned with charming furnishings, pops of pastel colors, and wood accents, this home has a cozy, cheerful glow. I am so happy to help you make your visit a memorable one. The guesthouse is set among oak trees at top of a hill in rural Atascadero. Restaurants, a cinema, and a shopping center in town are a short drive away. See the animals at the Charles Paddock Zoo, then go for a hike at Stadium Park. We are a bit off the beaten path so you will need to get around by car or Uber or Lyft. We have plenty of parking space available. My 9 year old Golden Retriever, Theo and his pal, my orange cat named Mango, will probably greet you upon arrival. They both love attention but are not allowed inside the guest house in case anyone has allergies. They look forward to meeting you! :)

The J Birdsall Banker property was developed from 1917 to 1919. The carriage house was constructed in 1919 and converted into housing during the housing shortage of World War 11 We have always referred to it as the honey moon suite because so many couples have lived there over the last 65 years. This light and airy hideaway was designed and built by the host incorporating her own handiwork in art and furnishings. Initially a granny flat, it's been transformed into a comfortable and spacious hang out. Its central location makes it ideal to explore the area. The twin beds can be easily configured to a king bed. Price includes a 13% local tax. We are on gated 3 acres. The pool sits between the guest house and our house.
