We were quite pleased with our stay here. The apartment was clean and centrally located. The Manuel Antonio Nat'l Park is a short walk around the corner. The beach is also close by. We walked to the supermarket and local restaurants. We felt safe and comfortable there. We used the San Bada hotel location as the pickup for excursions, which worked well. Overall, we had a great experience. Johnny was always responsive and helpful with recommendations.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Zum Strand runter haben wir leider nicht zu Fuss gefunden aber mit dem Auto ist man auch schnell unten. Alle Zimmer haben Aircondition. Alles war sauber und ordentlich . Es hat eine grosse Waschmaschine und einen Tumbler, den wir nutzen konnten. Also wie Probleme mit dem Ofen hatten, hat Cindy sofort reagiert ( obwohl es schon spät war) und eine Lösung gefunden. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Einfach aber zur Info, das 3. Zimmer befindet sich unten und unsere Kids hatten ein bisschen Angst dort allein zu schlafen - lag aber auch an dem Gewitter was wir so ziemlich jeden Abend hatten🙈

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean, something we greatly value and the space was very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Nia was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Si vous cherchez un logement dans un endroit calme et isolé c’est l’endroit parfait au son des vagues et vue sur la mer sur une petite route de terre avec une magnifique piscine et une cours arrière vraiment chouette. Les chambres étaient très confortables et Jenny la manager de la maison est vraiment très gentille. Susan est très réactive au messages et flexible, nous avons vraiment eu une belle fin de séjour au CR :) Le resto Mar y sol recommandé par Susan était succulent. Attention les vagues 🌊 sont très fortes, donc plus difficile à se baigner avec les enfants. Mais Plage exceptionnelle pour prendre de longues marches, comme si on était seul au monde ! Le BBQ est très vieux et usé et donc nous ne l’avons pas utilisé. L’appartement était très confortable nous étions 4 adultes et 2 enfants. Des heures de plaisir dans la piscine :) Épicerie à environ 20 minutes de l’appartement. Situé à 1h de Manuel Antonio :) donc se fait très bien pour la visite d’une journée !

Tolle Unterkunft, wir genossen die private Atmosphäre, den wunderbaren Blick von der Terrasse, die gesamte Küchen Ausstattung sowie die schnelle Erreichbarkeit von einigen Restaurants und kleine Supermärkten. Morgens bekamen wir Besuch von Affen - Vorsicht - nichts draußen liegen lassen. Die Lage und die Aussicht haben viel zur Entspannung und Genuss von Pura vida beigetragen. Hervorragend ausgestattet, an alles gedacht, wärmstens zu empfehlen! Dankeschön, dass wir hier übernachten durften.

Paradise found is an apt name. What a beautiful home in a beautiful place. I stayed for 4 nights with my wife and 3 teenage boys. The home was clean and well stocked with all the items we needed to make meals in the kitchen. Jose, the caretaker, met us at check in and showed us the lay of the land. We had access to the garage that had surf boards and body boards. The pool was clean and warm, and we had fun jumping in and splashing around. The beach across the street is a close to private as you can get. It goes on for miles each direction. The only people we saw were the occasional local fishing or some folks taking a stroll on horseback. Waves were huge and fun to play in. Watch out for rip tides! The directions to the home were great. The house is located between Jaco and Manuel Antonio. Both fun spots to explore. Thank you Mary and Jose for making our family trip unforgettable. We cant wait to return.

We had a great short stay at Lilly’s place. One of the few with a private pool which was awesome for our daughters. Well equipped and comfortable. Living area can get warm as the AC units are in the bedrooms only but ceiling fans help. Overall recommend staying here if in the Parrita/Esterillos area.

Amazing stay! The beach views were stunning. The place felt super private and safe. Security placed at the entrance to the community and another at the entrance to the beach. Omar replied quickly to our questions with clear, helpful info. Shops and restaurants were just a short drive away. Would definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at Tracy’s home it was the perfect location for the places we wanted to visit. Only 1 hour away from Manuel Antonio and about 30 minutes from Jaco and 2 hours from SJO. Read description carefully because you might think you’re renting the entire house but it’s actually divided into 4 different suites and the common areas are shared along with the pool. This is all on the description of the listing it was just a minor oversight on my end but we ended up having an amazing time and are glad we stayed at Tracy’s home. Thank you for having us :)

If you're looking for a spot just off the beaten path with the beauty of the rainforest right at your fingertips and the coast just a short walk away, then this is the place for you. The layout and outdoor living spaces of the home allow you to enjoy the toucans, scarlet macaws, hummingbirds and even monkeys if you have a keen eye. The howler monkey was hard to spot, but he put on quite a show! You'll spot wildlife along the path to the beach as well, so enjoy the short walk. After you've spotted the iguana and what we thought was an agouti, you'll find the truly semi-private beach. We will miss the magic of the coast and rainforest for sure. Uvita is just a short drive away and we liked that it wasn't heavily congested. You'll find a waterfall close to Uvita and we discovered the hidden gem of a restaurant called Tilapias El Pavón. All that to say, we loved the location. It was peaceful and had everything we needed for the perfect beach vacation.

Leonardo was friendly and responsive and made check in process a breeze. Location is a 10/10, with easy access to beach and pool area, as well as walking distance to great restaurants and a local market. Highlight of our trip was seeing a sloth hanging in the trees on the beach! Would definitely choose to stay here again.

Apartamento precioso, igual que las fotografías, muy limpio y cómodo. Vista preciosa al mar. Silencioso, tranquilo y muy cómodo. Volveremos!!!

Dominical was our favorite place to stay & it was great meeting the hosts. We were lucky enough to be recommended great restaurants & would definitely be back here. We were able to park the car in the private parking and walk everywhere (beach, restaurants, shops etc), which was great !!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Susana. Le logement est super beau avec une vue splendide sur la plage. Nous avions tout l’équipement nécessaire. Belle terrasse pour nos repas. Le site était tranquille, avec une magnifique grande plage. Nous avons fait de belles grandes marches. L’eau de la mer et des piscines étaient chaudes et nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Enfin Susana a répondu à toutes nos questions. Si vous êtes sans transport le système de bus est plus ou moins fiables. Il est difficile de savoir à quelle heure passe l’autobus. Toutefois il y a un arrêt de bus juste en face du site. Merci pour tout.

We absolutely loved this airbnb!! The view was incredible and the access to the beach made it so simple to enjoy our time. It’s the perfect location close by to Jaco, Manuel Antonio, and rainmaker, while being in a less touristy/ less crowded area. The entire complex felt incredibly safe, including the beach. There’s many stores nearby for groceries as well! Carrie was also incredibly helpful before and during our stay! Any questions we had, she responded within the hour and truly made this trip even better! Highly recommend!

Pura Vida - Great host and location. Walkable to the beach and several restaurants. Calm oasis in the back yard, where we could see Tucans, howler monkeys and an array of birds! Host is very responsive and we also appreciated having air conditioning as well as a washer / dryer. Uvita is a great place to visit with a ton of fun activities, and having the small pool onsite was really nice to escape the hot midday sun. The full kitchen is also a bonus. Modern, easy - with good WiFi and a good host. The howler moneys did wake us up in the morning, but that was actually pretty cool alarm clock - although they sounded like a sick dog!!! We stayed at 3 places, all of which said you’d see moneys, never saw any and we saw them all from the comfort of the shaded porch here.

From the moment we arrived, Greg and Lisa made us feel completely at home with their warmth and hospitality. Our first impression of Beachhouse Incognito truly took our breath away—the stunning pool, with the sound and sight of waves crashing just beyond, set the perfect tone. The bungalow was exactly what we hoped for: cool, cozy, and inviting. But the real magic happened on the porch, where we sipped our morning coffee and watched a parade of wildlife—iguanas, coatis, agoutis, hummingbirds, and so many lizards. Evenings brought more delight as we grilled our dinners by the pool and spotted bats flitting overhead. At night, thunderstorms rolled in, making everything feel even more magical. Most of our days were spent floating in the pool and simply relaxing, but we also loved exploring the local culture of Dominical. Highlights included ceviche at Fuego Brewery, outstanding chicken wings at Jolly Roger Bar, and spotting capuchin monkeys at La Parcela. We can’t wait to come back!

Tanto el lugar como sus alrededores son muy bonitos, el único detalle fue que la comunicación era lenta y no pudimos utilizar Netflix, por lo demás, todo excelente! Definitivamente volveremos.

Super cute and convenient! Thoughtful design, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and laundry was a real bonus! Surprisingly quiet and private as well. Hosts were wonderful, patient, helpful and acommodating. Would highly recommend!

Awesome location on Dominicalito beach. Zion was the best! He followed us to the beach and hung out waiting for us while we surfed. Yard is super nice and private and you can basically see the ocean from the front door if the property gate is open. It is a clean, well maintained space that was perfect for a night. No hot water but that’s common in Costa Rica. Great place

Un lugar muy lindo cómodo, con espacios bien aprovechados, buenas instalaciones, las camas un 10 de 10 que realmente permiten tu descanso, la ducha con excelente presión de agua. Josue estuvo al pendiente de nuestras necesidades, muy amable. En mi caso siempre viajo con antifaz para dormir y tapones para oídos, lo cual fue muy útil porque hay una construcción cercana que si te despierta temprano. Pero sin duda volvería a reservar y recomiendo este alojamiento.

Silvia was a fantastic host - met us at the cabin, showed us around and even gave us a token for a free cocktail in her bar! The cabin was exactly as described - small but clean and comfortable. The bed upstairs is low, however, with the fan on we weren’t too hot and slept really well, despite the storms! The shower was awesome! The shared kitchen space was great - had everything we needed, and it was really handy having a fridge in the cabin. Nice to have outside space to sit in too. Only 100m from entrance to park, with lifeguard station not far away, for safe swimming as there are rip currents and big surf! Recommend El Hornito for fantastic pizza and empanadas - almost directly opposite. Great budget accommodation 😁👍

Denis's place is just as described. Very private, feels safe, close to everything in Dominical but tucked away in a small residential area. Easy walk to the beach. We kept our surfboards in the locked property without issue. Rented a car for a few days and did not have issues with parking. The bus was very clean, and had everything we needed for basic cooking on two hot plates. Denia and her husband are kind, very responsive and proactive hosts. Would definitely stay again!
