Kid-friendly vacation rentals in San Jacinto Amilpas

Ximena's place felt like staying at a friend's beloved home.There's a relaxed, comfy vibe, as shown in the photos, but actually being there, is hard to find words for. It's just very special. Both my friend and I cherished our time there. Some words of advice, pack in your favorite foods, coffee, granola, there's only a small bodega down the road, and frankly once you've landed, you won't wanna leave. The first night Jhonny gave us the name of a wonderful local woman who on relatively short notice prepared us a lovely, healthy meal. Or, venture out to the small restaurant in the village. We ate delicious quesadillas made with fresh tortillas. On hikes, we were told to carry a stick to deter dogs. We never used them but good advice for anyone walking on country roads in Mexico. The dogs we saw were sun sleeping in the middle of the roads. Like I said, it's a good relaxing spot. We loved using the washing machine and hanging our clothes out to dry. We got emotional leaving.

Everything was very good, very attentive

It was our second time staying at Alans. All great and as described. The house is modern and well designed and area nice with some shops and a large kids playground nearby. Would def stay again

An accommodation that's worth what you pay for. Although the area is not very close to the center, it offers speed on the main avenues. It's not difficult to get there and the house is in a safe area. It has extra amenities that sometimes make you want to stay in the house, excellent accommodation.

Great building. With fantastic decoration. Very functional in its spaces. Oaxaca modern home in a very nice neighborhood.

It was a pleasant stay. The fact that everyone had their own bedroom and several bathrooms made it much easier to share the space ;) Everything was excellent

The wooden box is a wonderful escape, with great hosts who are very attentive. The hosts will help you call a taxi, which is necessary for a large grocery store, and leaving the village. There is a lovely spa called Chocolate de Agua near the house. The natural landscape does host a lot of critters. Be mindful of your surroundings.

Gorgeous and spacious house with lots of space. We were 10 people, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful pool and hot tub, which the kids enjoy very much The host was very responsive and addressed all our questions immediately. We had a great experience and I recommended to others.

This was my first time in Mexico. This air bnb is conveniently located in the heart of Centro, which is a "hub" of Oaxaca, walking distance to most things. The local tour agency is literally across the street from this bnb and has amazing half-day & full-day tour options to all the local attractions. The tours pick you up & drop you off at this bnb. The air bnb loft is modern & updated; perfect size for 1-2 people. Alvaro is an excellent host. He responds promptly to any and all inquiries and is very kind and helpful. This air bnb was a perfect spot to stay to explore Oaxaca.

Great location, spacious and spotless clean, sweet hosts. Perfect if you want to put your money in local hands. You can watch that gorgeous view from the bed also.

It was a great location, very walkable, right between the historic center and the cool neighborhood ofJalatlaco. No need for a car, but if you have one, the parking is easy and very secure.

I love staying here! This was my second time staying here. The location is perfect for me being close to Mercado Merced and my favorite bakery, Onna. The apartment had a great kitchen for cooking. I usually stay for weeks or months at a time in Oaxaca and love to cook my own food as you can only go out so much. I was able to park my car which was very convenient and safe within the compound. Of course the family is always great and helpful. I will of course return sometime down the road.

Loved my stay here! The apartment is perfect for one or two. The neighborhood feels local yet is very central. Margarita and Eli are wonderful hosts, always ensuring you have everything you need.

This is a great place, just to be clear if you haven't noticed, it isn't close to downtown, it may look like it but it really isn't, it is a 10-30 minute drive. But for the price and ammenities there is no comparison. Pros: - New place - Comfy bed - Very trendy - Garage and gated community Cons: The obvious, far from downtown Roads can be tricky to drive It is an apartment complex so noise could be an issue

Olivia and her partners were very responsive, helped us schedule our Airport pick ups and drop offs and were prompt in replying to our questions in a friendly manner. The apartment was comfortable, clean and in easy walking distance to the Xochimilco, Jalatlaco. Zocalo, The botanical gardens, Cultural Museum, Santo Domingo de Guzman Cathedral as well as highly recommended restaurants, cafes and bakeries. We would highly recommend staying at this apartment

Very nice apartment, just as it is in the photos and even nicer than what you see, Fatima behaved super well, she was always attentive, always available and helped us with our visit to Oaxaca, she was attentive to how we were doing, I recommend it 100% Everything is super clean and nice

For those that only read the first line of reviews , simply put we found this home perfect. Now if you are still reading we will tell you that the attention we received from our host was top notch. Constanza and Clara communicated through the app so well . When we wanted a more personal communication they meet us face to face. . We learned so much about the culture of the city and some spots we would never of found in a guide book or google searches. The home itself was as described and the plants throughout the courtyard were beautiful and soothing. Picking this location for your trip is something you will not regret

It was used for a family member and I enjoyed the stay completely, accessible, comfortable, with the necessary amenities for their needs. It met their expectations and they thank you for your kindness and attention

An excellent place to stay for a few days, accessible and the area is very quiet. The room where we stayed was very good for a couple with everything you need to stay a few days. Communication with the host is excellent, he answers you at all times and is very kind. Simply a great place to visit Oaxaca and its surroundings. I would definitely stay there again.

good place quite and close to down town

The apartment is highly recommended for short or long stays, Alejandro and his wife are super friendly and are always attentive. The kitchen is well equipped if you like to cook. The mattress is very comfortable and in general the whole space is impeccable. Two blocks around the apartment you will find a mini-supermarket, pharmacy, Oxxo, butcher shop, bakery, laundry and sale of prepared food. There is a bus stop nearby and taxis are inexpensive as they charge 100 pesos, but if you like to walk you can get to the Zócalo in just 20 minutes, it is very close.
