Kid-friendly vacation rentals in San Frediano, Florence

We had a lovely stay with our family for a week. The apartment had an amazing private garden which totally made our stay, and host was very responsive. Train station and supermarket are 5 min drive away which is very convenient. We’d recommend having a car from our experience.

Amazing villa, don’t hesitate to book it! It is a luxury property with lots of modern features, in the perfect location, peaceful and quiet with stunning countryside views but only 20 mins walk to Florence city. Karin the host is very helpful and friendly and she has thought of everything to make it a special stay for guests. 100% recommend and would love to visit again!

Ilaria’s place was immaculate and very spacious. Lovely view of the Duomo outside our window, and the Piazza del Duomo half a block from the apt! Excellent location for everything. Would definitely stay here again!

Lara and her lovely housekeeper allowed us to check-in early, which was much-needed after a long travel day. Despite being on the ground floor, the apartment is surprisingly quiet. A major music event happened outside during our stay and was very loud until late one evening, but I don't think nearby events are common - that was our own slight complaint but was out of the hosts host's control. We used the provided earplugs and slept after the music stopped. The space was clean, comfy, and safe - we would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was just like the photos. We felt like home. David was very friendly and responsive. The location was perfect. I would choose the same accommodation again if back to Florence.

Filippo's apartment is located in a quiet area of the city of Florence, in a neighborhood with many restaurants and bars away from the tourist crowds. Points of interest are very close to the other side of the bridge. The apartment is ideal for 1 or 2 people. The bathroom is spacious, new and in good working order. The sheets and pillows on the bed were in perfect condition, very clean, as well as a small new refrigerator and a kitchen with the basic things to use. The general living area is a bit limited, but there is an extra space where you can leave your luggage if your luggage is large in size.

Simonetta made us feel truly at home—like a home away from home. Her place radiates peace and tranquility, offering a beautiful view of the countryside while being just a short and convenient train ride from Florence. The setting is perfect for relaxing and unwinding, yet close enough to explore the city with ease. My wife and I enjoyed every moment of our stay and would return without hesitation.

Federico was very helpful, buzzed us in and use the elevator to top floor, then a couple more stairs. he reviewed all the aspects of the apartment to know. the views are quite incredible, and the side balcony terrace is really peaceful. just beware the mosquitos! the area is perfect for staying just outside the popular spots, so it's peaceful at night. really great cafes and restaurants right along the road too

This place was wonderful! The location is perfect and accessible to everything without being too crowded. Lorenzo was very accommodating and immediately responded to all of our questions. He also gave us great local recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and things to see. The apartment was even prettier than the photos — we loved our visit!

My daughter and I had a restful stay at Raul’s apartment and it felt like home. Comfortable, cosy, and close to everything.

Thank you for another wonderful stay Alessandra. I would really recommend the apartment, it is 10 mins walk from the train station however on the south side of the river where although easily accessible to the sights, is located in a quieter location. I will be back :)

Great spot to explore Florence from. Very clean and cute space. Sabrina was very accommodating, communicative and helpful. Would recommend.

Filippo’s space was even better in person. Fairy lights over the bed greeted me upon arrival. I had coffee and tea as well as some brioche for my mornings. The room is beautiful, loved the painted walls. The bed was comfortable and despite the heat outside, it was cool inside.

It was particularly cheap among the accommodations in Florence. It was a room for one person, but when I asked Andrea if two people could stay, she gladly agreed. It is very close to the station, and the location is good because I was able to put down my heavy luggage right away.◯ It's not so far from major tourist spots like the Dome. The room is small, but it is no different from a 1k single room in Japan.It was rather comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, so I bought ingredients at the market, cooked and ate!That's what I was most happy about!

This is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in! Host was helpful and provided some great recommendations that we ended up going to and enjoying! Location is 10/10 and the place is exactly as described - feels luxurious and also has amenities just if you were home.

Very nice apartment, tastefully decorated and well located! Very comfortable bed! Perfect bathroom with everything you need! If you go to bed early, the noise of the children in the park opposite can be a little disturbing! Restaurant suggestions are also very popular! The soundproofing of the accommodation is not great but normal because it is an old building! Thanks for everything Sylvia!

Lucia was an excellent host! prompt in her responses and consistently helpful throughout our stay. She kindly recommended a superb restaurant, where I enjoyed the best pasta I have ever tasted. The apartment was immaculate and well-maintained, making us feel immediately at home. It also featured thoughtful little touches that made a real difference. Lucia had kindly provided us with some drinks and sweet treats upon arrival, which was a lovely surprise. Both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at this cosy little apartment!

Great location and apartment in Florence. Christina made everything easy and let us check in hours early so we could store our bags and get to exploring after we arrived in Florence. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a washing machine. Would stay here again!

Great location. Everything was in walking distance. Gives a feel of living amongst the locals. The appartment was really clean and nicely decorated. There were also nice amenities that we did not expect. Very much recommend.😊⚘️👌

This was a very convenient place for our 3 days in Florence. We were able to walk to all the main sites within 15 minutes and there are tons of good restaurants and cafes very close by. Flat itself was clean, spacious and comfortable and we were grateful for the A/C when it hit 90F!
