Velouria - Hot Tub, Woodstove, Redwoods.

BernadetteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a great, unique spot. We wish we stayed longer. Definitely not for everyone, as there are a lot of irregular stairs down a steep hillside, but that was part of the magic. We had a roaring fire both nights, and enjoyed the hot tub which we were baffled how it was ever installed down the hill. We enjoyed day trips and the local scene before continuing north on our redwoods road trip. Thanks again!

Riverview Treehouse with Hot Tub

JondaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a great stay at the Treehouse! Chad was easy to reach and super quick to respond, though we didn't have any issues that needed his attention while we were there. Couple tips: Chad mentions there can be issues with ants and he's not kidding. We were careful about crumbs, but did have a box of cereal on the counter and they made their way in. To be clear, this is not a criticism of the space in any way - ants are gonna ant. We just started keeping all food in the fridge just to be safe and that seemed to work! If you're visiting during the off season, be advised many businesses are only open Thursday-Sunday. We had to adjust our stay a bit at the last minute and wound up arriving Sunday and leaving Thursday morning. Still had a great time, and there was still plenty to do, we just missed a couple things I wish we wouldn't have. Guess it's just a good excuse to come back!

White Rock Lodge-Iconic 1920s cabin, 2 bdr, close

JocelynRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had a wonderful few days at White Rock. It's in a beautiful setting, just walking through the neighborhood is beautiful. The house was clean and well stocked with things. They had a great tea and coffee selection. i had delicious Cinnamon Sunset tea and ordered some when I got home because I loved it so much. It was peaceful, private and fun. There is so much to explore just in the house itself. The first day was really fun, because there are so many hidden spaces to discover. I would definitely come back and stay here again. It was a truly restful and beautiful trip.

Peaceful Coastal Mountain Cabin

JoannaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We loved our stay here. We haven’t stayed in an Airbnb for over a year (opted for hotels) because of a previous bad experience. This place was CLEAN. I am sensitive to smells and there were no scents here which is a huge plus! It is exactly as described- peaceful and so quiet. It had everything we needed. The king size bed was very comfortable. Even the pull out bed was comfy- it is a foam mattress not springs. Instructions are clear regarding any thing you can think of- there are typed up reminders throughout the house. Overall the cabin has such a good vibe- we hope to come back.

Rural 1 Acre Lakefront Location With Private Beach

CherylRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful, peaceful and lovely stay. This was a fantastic place and one of the best Airbnb stays in my experience. Paulette is a friendly host and has included so many extras in her rental. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need and she has stocked the bathrooms with many extras. The location is beautiful with decks and windows that view the lake. The completely fenced back yard with the private beach really was beautiful and relaxing. We could let our dogs run free and they loved it. There are California buckeye trees there so I picked up the fruit that had dropped so my dog wouldn't chew them. There is a nice pergola on the beach so we could sit in the shade while the dogs played. Do try the Crestview walk listed in the binder. We drove to the dirt road, parked and had a really nice dog walk. We also walked the Redbud trail off of Hwy 20 which was enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

Redwoods Creek side Fenced yard 1/3 acre Dogs OK

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is an amazing place to stay! First of all, 1/3 acre in Monte Rio, fully FENCED, and next to a CREEK, is rare. Our senior dog LOVED it! Lorri thought of everything. From the dog towel, to the instructions on how to start and operate the fire pit and grill. It was all so inviting. The house-book is a must-read. We were greeted with chocolate chip and walnut cookies which were wonderful to snack on after a nearly 4 hour drive. Sweet Creek is EXTREMELY pet friendly but you still have to be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pets and the basic things like dry their feet off and drape any furniture with sheets if they lay down on them. The picture board of animals who've stayed there, and the wonderful binder full of thank you notes was just so touching. We felt like we were staying at a friends house, not airbnb. We can't say enough with the character count left. Sweet Creek is a must! We will RETURN!

Zen getaway near downtown Occidental

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our little family loved our spring break at the cabin. highlights: quiet, serene space, with a creek! minimalist digs with the focus on the forest great kitchen and dining area tastefully updated, yet still rustic comfy beds extra space heaters in downstairs closet plenty of towels things to note: The shower is in a claw-foot tub and it's a hassle. The shower curtain wouldn't quite stay put, it sticks you, and it felt like we were getting water everywhere, which made it hard to reach our soap and shampoo. Great for soaking but not so great for daily showers. Stepping out over the side was challenging for my son. The wood stove is a Franklin stove. Great for ambiance but doesn't do a lot to heat the cabin unless you constantly feed it with firewood. Plan to bring some to use in addition to the provided space heaters. There weren't a lot of extra blankets available that we could find, but the heaters kept us warm. All in all, beautiful, quiet, no cell service, perf.

Private, dog friendly 3 bedroom bright wooded home

CathyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house was perfect getaway for a relaxing spring break with my two tween kids and dog. It's definitely a place you want to cozy up in and read a book when it rains. It was decorated beautifully. The master bedroom was great, best night sleep and the little hidden loft was great for my kids. Did not miss having a TV, loved the record player and it offered us time to disconnect and play a lot of board games. However, wifi was strong when the kids did want to play/watch things on their tablets. Scenery around the house is stunning and it's close by the Sea Ranch Lodge if we wanted to go out for breakfast or dinner. Not too far from Stewarts Point General Store as well which was a cute spot. My kids loved the place so much they asked if we could move there!

The cabin was so lovely and cozy! The wood stove/fireplace was truly amazing, the cabin was so warm and toasty throughout the night. Laurie, Greg and Skip are all so great and accommodating. The bathrooms were always so clean, with hot water showers. The location is amazing, everything is close by: gorgeous hikes at Hendy Woods State Park, and near some amazing wineries for wine tasting. We absolutely loved our time here!

Creekside Green Cabin

CherylRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
What a wonderful stay my husband and I had in Laurel’s beautiful “Green Cabin!” Her accommodation could not have been more perfectly located. She has created such a cozy and relaxing place especially after our spectacular redwood hikes around the surrounding area. The pellet stove/fireplace was perfect after a day out and about. Laurel has put a lot of love into her place which is evident in her attention to detail. We definitely hope to return!…And we highly recommend!

Immersive Cabin Stay with Contemporary Style

DevinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was, without a doubt, one of the most lovely Air Bnb's I have stayed in. The tiny touches to detail in things like kitchen supplies, lighting, quality of linens made the entire experience beautiful. The house was made with love and it shows. The property around the house was a perfect mixture of rustic and artistic touches that integrated into the green and tree covered hillside. I cannot recommend highly enough for a quiet escape to the redwoods.

Beech - Lovely Creekside Cottage in the Woods

AnaRating, 5 stars23 months ago
We loved staying at Noah and Joe's place! The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. The cabin was very clean and it included all the services listed in the description. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our cats with us. They loved it as well, chasing birds and playing in the trees. The place also has public pools that are very clean with clear water. Joe was very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time relaxing and in contact with nature.

Rustic Cabin in the Woods

NinaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Arriving late at night after a last minute booking was a challenge on dirt roads with a 2 wheel drive but the instructions were clear and worth the experience of staying in an enchantingly serene cabin/hut. This little hut located on McNab ranch, the backroads of Ukiah county, was perfectly constructed to meet ones needs: outside kitchen counter, sink, and shower, little bed and cot, a writing desk and shelves for towels and lanterns. It’s the kind of place one would use to get away to, to finish a book or do deep meditation at. The hut doesn’t have a bathroom, so be aware that you have to dispose of the bucket in the compost bin, but to anyone who’s ever roughed it or owned a dog, this isn’t even a setback. In the morning, I was awoken by a squirrel hiding its nuts on the roof, seller’s jays and quail. Shar and Lea are both kindred souls, two fairies that maintain the harmony on their sacred land.. I plan to come back to immerse myself in the countryside and explore the area mo
