Deer Valley/Park City/Jordanelle ski-lake condo

BobRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Location is wonderful. We were there for a ski trip and thought the east side of Deer Valley was less crowded than the normal base. The condo is a 5 minute drive to the Jordanelle - if you get there by 8:30am, great parking. The condo is clean, bright, quite and well appointed. Beds and lines are great. Super place to stay for a Deer Valley ski trip.

The Rising Ranch "Brick House"

We loved our stay at this home! It was very clean and spacious! At one point the sink disposal stopped working but Allie and Sam were quick to respond to all of our message and tried to help get it fixed. When the problem could not be fixed via text message they were quick to send someone over to fix it. We are super happy with our experience staying here and would love to return!

Deer Valley / Park City Ski Condo

TiffaniRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Deepa's place was absolutely beautiful and a great place to stay. Deepa was very responsive to a few questions I had. The instructions to access the condo were clear and easy to follow. We were pleased to find that it looked just like the listing and the cleaning job was superb. Having a pack and play and high chair on site was very helpful. We appreciated the kid-friendly serve warehouse as well. It was also nice to have a garage to park in to keep the car out of the snow. We would absolutely stay here again.

Deer Valley Awesome Views | Pet Friendly | Hot Tub

JanaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was a 10 ⭐ stay! We will not stay anywhere else when coming to Park City or Deer Valley. This condo exceeded all expectations. The views were amazing. Clear view of Deer Valley Mountain, looking out over the fields and ponds; great seating on the patio to enjoy these views. The hot tub was perfect after a day of skiing. The condo is large & very bright, great seating in the living room, 3 large bedrooms & 2 large bathrooms. The condo looks to be recently renovated. The kitchen was also large and had plenty of counter space, cabinets & was filled with all you'd need to make yourself at home. There was no noise from neighbors. The free bus stops right out front making it easy to get to/from Deer Valley Mountain ( you can leave your skis, boots, poles and jackets for free overnight at the mountain) or to downtown Park City or Park City Mountain. The rental company was quick to respond & answer questions. By far the best AirBnB we've ever stayed in. Do not hesitate to book.

Her place is absolutely amazing on the river. if you're coming to the Provo area people stay here. We stayed for a week and I wish we could have stayed longer. Chelsie thank you again, you were such a great host and your home is amazing. If I'm ever in Utah again that's where I'm staying.

Fantastic stay that was perfect for a ski getaway to Solitude for our family of 4. Location was incredible, walk to slopes, restaurants and corner store, rental shop, etc…never had to drive any where! Condo was exactly as described and was stocked with anything you could possibly need. We usually ski Colorado but are sold on Utah now!

Hidden Gem! Solitude Ski Slope Views Ski In-Out

JamesRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
If you are going to ski Solitude or Brighton, stay here. It is a joy just to be in these sunlit rooms. From the windows you can see a ski lift dropping off skiers on a Solitude ski trail. Put your boots on in the room and walk to skiing. Afterword you can take a soak in the hot tubs that are right next door. Bring your groceries from Salt Lake City (no supermarkets up here) and you can prepare your meals in a fully equipped kitchen with the fireplace nearby. If any problems arise, Ben takes care of them quickly with rapid communication. And by the way, check-in is a breeze. You may not think about this, but having your car parked in a heated garage makes winter travel a lot easier too. Loved my stay.

Pet Friendly Modern - Ski-In - Pool, Hot tub, Gym

ChelseeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Canyons Village is lovely. Parking was super duper easy. We loved the heated, outdoor pool and hot tub. The game room was fun too. The condo was very clean and nice. There was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom which was a bit off putting. And the curtains were not light-darkening which was not conducive to sleeping in later. We loved the robe and nice towels (& towel warmer.) We also loved the dedication to being eco friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Family-friendly 8 bedroom home with hot tub

SuzanneRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We hosted a women's leadership retreat at this property and the location was absolutely stellar—peaceful, beautiful, and close to everything we needed. The house itself had great space for group gatherings and felt like a true getaway. Were there a few hiccups? Yes. But here’s the real win: the hosts were incredibly responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to address every concern quickly. That kind of service makes all the difference. In the end, the warmth of the host and the overall experience made our stay memorable. We’d absolutely return—and recommend it to others looking for a beautiful spot with attentive hosts who genuinely care.

Your guide to Salt Lake City

All About Salt Lake City

Sitting at the foot of Utah’s Wasatch Mountains, Salt Lake City is framed by dramatic snow-capped peaks, and the city lures visitors with its blend of urbane and outdoor activities. At the heart of downtown is Temple Square, home to important buildings like the Salt Lake Temple and Assembly Hall, as well as many restaurants and cafes. Central City, to the south and east of the square, is SLC’s arts hub, packed with galleries, live music venues, fashion boutiques, and the popular Gilgal Sculpture Garden. Capitol Hill is dominated by the impressive Utah State Capitol building, which contains a replica of the Liberty Bell. You can tour the building and see art exhibits offering insight into Utah’s history.

Salt Lake City also offers some of the country’s best ski resorts and national parks.

Winter brings a blast of energy to town, as there are 11 ski resorts in the surrounding mountains, including some of the nation’s best. You can go snowshoeing or cross-country skiing on the resort trails in winter, and during summer, the ski runs turn into hiking and biking paths. At Bryce Canyon, four hours south, you’ll see incredible red rock hoodoos and sandstone spires. Arches National Park, three hours to the southeast, is a natural wonder of eroded sandstone towers and balanced rocks.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Salt Lake City

Thanks to its high elevation and dry climate, Salt Lake City’s climate tends toward the dramatically beautiful, with sunny, clear summers and snow-covered winters.

Summer brings arid heat, so make sure to take water everywhere with you and have sun protection. In August, the Salt Lake City Hot Air Balloon Festival is a breathtaking sight, with balloons rising above the Wasatch Mountains.

Fall is a lovely time in the city, as temperatures cool but are still mild enough to enjoy the outdoors. In September, the Utah State Fair brings concerts, carnival rides, and competitions to the fairpark. Temperatures fall below freezing during winter, and the city gets plenty of snow — the mountains and resorts, of course, see even more. In November and December, Luminaria showcases millions of lightbulbs at Thanksgiving Point, creating stunning lighting displays. In spring, temperatures begin to climb, but snow often still falls in the mountains and trails will be muddy, so it’s a good idea to bring your layers and a good pair of boots.

Top things to do in Salt Lake City

The Great Salt Lake

Just outside town, you’ll find the lake that gave the city its name. The largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere, it has been dubbed America’s Dead Sea, and salt has turned the beach stark white. The clean water is great for swimming and watersports such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and pedal boating, with rental equipment available nearby. You can even enjoy a dinner cruise and catch a magical sunset with views of the mountains on all sides.

Bonneville Salt Flats

Less than two hours west of Salt Lake City are the Bonneville Salt Flats, a 30,000-acre expanse of salty white crust that formed when the ancient Bonneville Lake dried up. In many places the soil is so salty that vegetation cannot grow, and, devoid of plant and animal life, the area looks like the surface of the moon. You’ll need to stay in designated areas for your visit, as the environment is fragile and only some paths are safe to drive on with your vehicle.

Natural History Museum of Utah

Spend some time exploring one of Utah’s best museums, which offers a fascinating insight into the state’s origins — from its remarkable landscapes and geology, to the background of its native peoples. There are 10 permanent interactive exhibits to browse here, and you’ll learn all about the Great Salt Lake and how it formed over 500 million years ago.
