Guesthouse vacation rentals in Salt Lake City

Arguably the best location in SLC if you want a great view and easy access to Big & Little Cottonwood. It's also convenient to everything else in SLC and even Park City - easy on/off the I-215 Belt Route. Every room in the place has a great view of the city & amazing sunset. The large covered porch was exceptionally nice to enjoy after a day of skiing or work. The neighborhood is one of the nicest & safest in SLC and an excellent area to walk/hike/bike. You feel very disconnected from the activity in the city below. The kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked often , as well as using the almost new gas grill on the porch. If you like dogs, you'll love their 2 rescue dogs that treated us like family the entire time. This added to the comfortable feel and safety aspect of the place. Jennifer & Bill were great hosts and I enjoyed having them around. I will stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

This loft was a fantastic home away from home while I was in Salt Lake City for a conference. Especially useful for me were the reverse osmosis water spigot and the Washer/dryer. I didn’t use the hot tub (it was 95 out) but I’m sure it would have been great. Chiedu was great from my limited interactions with him! I was simply jet lagged and busy but I wish we could have talked more!

Cozy, well-designed and peaceful cottage with amenities at the back of a lovely yard. Walking distance to a cluster of great food options and a fantastic bookstore. Quiet neighborhood with well-tended gardens.

Jim and his place were awesome! He’s super friendly and has great local recommendations. The place is great for a solo traveler like myself. Walkable to all the best spots, clean and comfortable

Just as described and pictured. Convenient location to our family that lives in Cottonwood Heights. Clean, quiet, and working heat and air conditioning which was needed due to change in temperatures while we were there. Would stay there again if it works out.

I really enjoyed staying here! The location is unbeatable, it’s a 2 or 3 minute walk from downtown Holladay which was super convenient. The fenced in yard was very nice for my dog as well. It was nice!

Jennifer’s home was so lovely. Wonderful things to do outside to get some exercise. The house was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! Great hot tub to relax after a long day.

Very zen space with amazing host. After our Utah desert adventures this was the perfect spot to reset and get to the airport. We had some itinerary changes and requests that jourdan was very accomodating to. This space was connected to the host but was set up to be very secluded. This was beneficial for one of our requests (needed a scale to weigh out our luggage to bring home cool rocks) The bed was so comfortable, much needed after camping and we were happy to have the ability to do some laundry before packing. Highly recommend staying here.

Yevgeniya's place was perfect! Very Homie feel to it, very comfy. Yevgeniya responded5to every message I sent and had an answer for every question I had. She was even so kind as to place a bucket outside the residence for my cigarette butts for me before I even had the chance to do it myself and messaged me to let me know she had done so. All in all, excellent experience...

Probably the best AirBnB we’ve stayed in - Melanie has thought of everything! Kitchen was perfectly kitted out for cooking with literally everything you could possibly need and in great condition. Place was sparkling clean and nicely decorated. And robes provided in the wardrobe - who could ask for anything more? We will be back for sure.

MJ place was so perfect. It was a nice place to rest for a couple days before continuing to Denver. She was so responsive and gave us so much info. The view of the mountains was amazing She was so welcoming. I would recommend her place 100%.

A Rare Gem—Exactly As Advertised! Booking a stay, you usually brace yourself for the gap between glossy photos and reality, like using a decade-old showroom picture to sell a car. But this place? What you see is what you get! It was just as stunning, immaculately clean, and truly lived up to every promise. What a breath of fresh air! We’ll definitely be back and recommend it to others.

Quick to respond to questions and ready to resolve all issues. Great to work with! And the place was fun. The kids loved the loft and the ladder to get to it. Definitely a win.

This home was perfect for us. The shower was tall, the dishwasher, washing machine and dryer all looked new. Even tho we didn’t cook, it was great to have a full size fridge for milk, cheese and crackers, water, etc. There was a table and two chairs and also a loveseat and closet . Great use of space! The AC unit worked great. So nice to be able to shut it off when we went out to conserve energy and then it cooled very quickly when we got back. The location was really good, too.

Very new, clean and well appointed. I needed a 2 day stop over on a very long trip so laundry, TV streaming choices, were much appreciated in addition to comfy & clean environment. But not easy to find in cookie cutter neighborhood.

First of all, Cody is very friendly, nice and responsive! We enjoyed our stay at Cody’s garden apartment. It’s a nice apartment in his home. We were very comfortable and Cody quickly took care of our coffee needs. The garden looks great!!

Very helpful hosts very friendly and did not even notice they were right upstairs. Everything was very tidy and they exceeded expections I had about the cleanliness of linens!! Very welcoming and comfortable! Thanks so much! Would I stay again ? absolutely!!!!! Highly recommended!

Savannah’s guesthouse is beautifully and thoughtfully designed and furnished. The space was constructed with high-end finishes and an obvious attention to every detail. Everything is new and spotless. It is spacious and has a fully-equipped kitchen, an elegantly decorated bathroom, and a comfortable bed. I stayed for only one night while passing through, so I was not able to explore the area, but the neighborhood seemed very nice. Savannah is a very attentive and gracious host. I would happily stay at the guesthouse again.

We have stayed in the Carriage House multiple times, and we’ll definitely book again when we’re in town. It’s very clean, comfortable and quiet with beautiful views of the mountains! Andrea is a great and helpful host!

Best little spot for us and short drive to hospital for our baby appointments. Neighborhood is quiet and clean. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Jan has been awesome with us!
