A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

We rented the house for a group of 10 and everything went perfectly. The accommodation was exactly as described: very clean, well arranged and perfectly functional for a group stay. The host was extremely responsive, available throughout the stay, and very accommodating, including accepting a late checkout. We had a great time — I recommend it.

The gite is perfect, everything you need for an ideal stay, the swimming pool is a perfect size for a little one and also is you want to do a few lengths. The garden and barn is spectacular, the perfect space to escape from the heat and eat in a beautiful place. The hosts, Sue and Paul, are so accommodating and so very welcoming, it’s been the best stay and we did not want to go home!! We have already booked to come back, an amazing stay 👍👍👍👍

This is a great place to stay in La Rochelle! The place is lovely, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a couple. The location, in the historical part of La Rochelle, is close to everything : restaurants, grocery stores, shops and waterfront. Christèle was a very attentive and responsive host I highly recommend!

Perfectly located appartment, and the garage is a huge advantage. Very nice place to stay at, close to everything, and easy to get in/out. I would not recommended it if you have small kids. There is some safety issues like the stairs, windows, plugs, and furniture that can fall.

Very comfortable house, located in a quiet neighborhood and very tastefully decorated. When the weather is nice, it is really enjoyable on the terraces. We were very warmly welcomed by Nathalie. We received very clear information about the area (sights, cycling routes,...). We are very enthusiastic, both about the house and about the hostess.

Such a wonderful location, so secluded and peaceful. We were welcomed warmly and calmly. The house was spotless, the pool was lovely and warm and the house is much larger than it appears. We particularly liked the huge bed. Coming from England we were excited by the shutters and it was perfectly dark. We slept so well. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We will be coming back next time we are in France, and next time bringing friends. It was wonderful.

Beautiful place located a short walk from the beach of Plaisance! A great sandy beach to enjoy pleasant moments! We found in Romain's house and his companion everything we expected: the calm of a large garden under the pine trees, a house in which we knew right away that our stay would be great, the characteristic smells of the seaside...!!! Finally, Romain is very responsive, attentive, and will be good advice to tell you where to treat! Really a great week, we will come back without a problem!!! We had an unforgettable stay in this villa nestled in the heart of the vineyards, with breathtaking views of the Gironde. The house is a haven of peace, with no immediate neighbors, while being only minutes from the village. Spacious and tastefully decorated, it perfectly accommodated our family of 8. Every detail has been thought out to offer comfort and friendliness, and the soothing setting made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this villa for vacations for families or groups of friends. At our level we are thinking of staying there this summer to enjoy the pool area which is amazing!!

We had a wonderful time with the family. The house is large, tastefully decorated, well-equipped with a large outdoor terrace and a very nice swimming pool. You can do everything on foot, from the beach, to shops and restaurants. We spent 5 very intense days there. Thank you Danielle. 😘

Patrice was very welcoming and very responsive on arrival and adaptable to our requests (early check-in and late check-out). The accommodation is very well equipped. Quality bedding. The pool, trampoline, Nordic bath are ideal for young and old. This is the home of Patrice and his children, you must be aware of this at the time of booking.

We had a great time with the family at Anthony's house. It is very well-equipped and the layout of the different rooms (sleeping area, dining area, etc.) allows you to share time together but also to have your own space! The village center is within walking distance (there are all the essential shops) and we rented bikes, which allowed us to visit the rest of the island on foot and go to the beach a few minutes by bike from the house. Finally, thank you to Justine from the concierge, who gave us a warm welcome on our arrival and was available despite our very early departure, not to mention her valuable advice on the good spots on the island!
