We had the most wonderful week at the Rocket House. James has created the most wonderfully welcoming and enjoyable space. The house was truly more beautiful than we anticipated. It had everything we needed. The amenities were functional and well-appointed. The whole house was well-suited for our needs and was incredibly livable. My favorite part was the windows. If I have to clean up from dinner, the view made it so much more enjoyable. Additionally, the house was spotless and easily accessible. Check-in and check-out were super easy. Also, learning about the history of the house made it more meaningful to discover the specialness of the location and the house's origins. I CANNOT say enough good things about the location. The SW Coast Path is literally just outside the door. The views were stunning. Working with James was a joy. He was communicative, informative, and accommodating. I have already sent this listing to multiple friends!

A great host, wonderful property and amazing location. The car port fitted the estate car easily although a little tight to get into the lane if another car has parked at the entrance so have to take it steady! The house is stunning and the finishing touches make it 5 star. The views from the balcony are wonderful and a real sun trap. It took 5 minutes to get to the main harbour and the same to get to the camel trail so the location is truly fantastic. Great host, easy check in and instructions. We will be back!

We have had a fantastic few days in Port Gaverne. The house was perfect with everything we could want or need. Gerry was a perfect host, great communication and very helpful. We managed to fit a vw transporter and medium sized car on the parking area, it was tight but with no problem. The location is just perfect, less than 1 min walk to the beach. We had a great time and look forward to returning! Thank you Gerry

A blissful retreat, with absolutely stunning views. The Bothy is cozy and well kitted out, and the hosts are incredibly thoughtful.

This is a wonderful and charming place. Extremely comfortable. Fantastic location. Exceptional hosts. The outside space to the accommodation is a real suntrap and we were also able to use the garden and treehouse as well (a fantastic construction with beautiful views) . Lots of information was provided at the property for things to see and do, walks, restaurants etc. Other than the accommodation the local pub 'the Kew Inn' provides delicious food - above and beyond just 'pub food'. There is also an excellent farmshop/cafe where we bought some Cornish presents for the children. As you would expect of North Cornwall the local walks are all incredible and many are not too demanding, so something for everyone. Everything is so close to the property - lots of beautiful beaches, south west coast path, food shopping in Wadebridge, Padstow and for me Bodmin Nursery for those who love plants. We were very sad to leave.

This is the perfect base in Padstow for a break. Just a short walk from the harbour, a view from the front bedrooms of the harbour and quiet surroundings. Very clean and lots of space...we loved it!

We loved our stay at Hollie’s place, the accommodation was perfect with lots if nice touches, including fast internet, wireless chargers, torches and umbrellas, not that we needed them we had fantastic weather, and did a very nice circular walk into Padstow which started and finished just a stones throw from the property.

We recently stayed at this beautiful cottage in Cornwall and had an absolutely wonderful time. The place had so much charm and character — it felt like stepping into a peaceful little haven. My friends and I instantly felt at home. One of the highlights was the collection of antiques throughout the cottage, which added such a unique and cozy touch. Every corner seemed to tell a story. The setting was serene, perfect for a relaxing getaway, and we loved how well-maintained and thoughtfully furnished everything was. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil escape with a bit of history and character!

We loved Alison’s place… it was perfect for a few day’s getaway and in an utterly beautiful spot. Alison was very kind and left us a bottle of bubbly as it was a special birthday! Would recommend this place if you are after peace and tranquility. The walking in the area is superb… most require a little drive as it’s such a remote wooded valley but it’s totally worth exploring. And the bed is very comfy after a day’s walking!

I absolutely loved staying here. Gorgeous flat with beautiful surroundings. 100% recommend having at least one meal on the balcony

Absolutely can't fault this lovely little place, so close to the beach and amazing views of the beach and out to sea. We'll really miss waking up to that view. It's perfectly sized for two, and no clutter so we had space for all our things. Lots of clever little space saving ideas meant we had everything we needed. The shower room was large and the shower itself was perfect - good pressure and adjustable temperature. Just what you want after a day at the beach. The kitchenette was well equipped. The bed was comfy. Rachel was friendly from the outset and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. She never took long to respond. We would highly recommend this gem near Praa Sands and if we're ever back that way won't hesitate to book again.

The place is exactly as described. It is within walking distance of train station, shops and pubs. Extra nice touch of leaving a note and use of cushions and blanket for our trip to the Minack theatre, which was perfect. Also contacted us post departure as had left a charger behind which is being posted to us.

What a find! Loathed to publicise this place. Comfortably slept 4, the dressing area was a great addition for two teenagers getting ready. The shower was fabulous. Very clean, ample parking with plenty of storage and a walk away from the town centre. Hosts helpful and welcoming. if you need it book it in advance as we might move in.

Perfect accommodation for a weekend beach break. Spotlessly clean and all thoughtful amenities. Very conveniently located right by the beach. Thanks for having us!

Absolutely loved our time at Emily & Matt’s place. The place was spacious and clean with gorgeous views of the water. The location was great as it was just out of the centre so felt very quiet and peaceful but was a short walk for anything we needed. Would highly recommend!

We have loved staying at Susan's place, it's really well done, comfortable and clean. It's close to local places such as Port Issac and Polzeath. We would certainly come back when in the area again

We had a lovely stay. We received a message prior to check in with clear instructions, making check in hassle free. The place looked exactly like the photos. Everything was clean, comfortable, and tidy. A couple of personal stand outs for me was having a bed that smelled freshly laundered, and having things like cooking foil in the kitchen. There were a few little goodies left for us too, which was a nice touch. Thank you for everything 😊

Just back from an apartment in Newquay ‘ stunning sea view from Island View in Porth beach air b/b : Nigel was a great host throughout our stay ( only a telephone call away) Apartment was spotlee to a very high spec: Allocated parking space throughout stay : Beautiful walks along the coastline and never enough time to appreciate the areas beauty. Ample entertainment for children’s activities. Highly recommend. This for a lovely stay. Victor

Could not have chosen a better place to stay! Gorgeous set up with lots of little perks such as scones with jam, bottle of alcohol, all the kitchen equipment we could possibly need, fresh flower cuttings on display, wall art, guide books, games, good quality TVs, etcetc. We loved it here and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was too. Great location, walkable to the beach and even the high street, with lots of delicious food choices too. Even the neighbourhood cats were friendly.

Gorgeous little break away with amazing views and a very comfy bed! The property was everything we needed and included nice little touches such as fresh milk, local apple juice and cookies. We felt right at home, safe and throughly enjoyed the local area. Laura's artwork is also beautifully displayed throughout. Communication and instructions on how to get in where clear and precise. Highly recommend this lovely little place. We will be back 👍

A wonderful stay - the accommodation is of a very high standard and has everything you can possibly need. And the view is fantastic. Topping it off is that you can be in all the great eateries and attractions of Padstow within a 5 minute walk. Highly recommended.
