Family-friendly vacation rentals in Saint Minver

We had a great stay in the house. Our group was 4 adults, 2 children and a dog and it was the perfect size for us all. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was very peaceful and so quiet at night we all got great sleep. We visited Bude, Clovelly and Widemouth over our 4 day stay and it was perfectly located for them. Roger provided all the information we needed beforehand with guides to everything we could possibly need. He also responded to messages straightaway. The hot tub was a nice bonus and easy to use. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden. I can't think of anything that would have improved our stay, I would definitely love to return.

One night is not enough!! The hot tub was the highlight of this place as it felt super relaxing and calming after our super long drive to cornwall. We visited cornwall’s beaches and Shaun’s place was so comfortable and cozy that we only wish we could stay for a bit longer or at least be able to check-in earlier for a more relaxing experience. The bathroom was squeaky clean, hygienic and really cute and made the girls feel comfortable as home. The cottage had almost all amenities needed for the stay. It was one of the most affordable places in Cornwall and would definitely return!

We had a lovely relaxing break away as a family. Helen & Jonathan made us feel very welcome and decorated the cottage to celebrate my birthday, so thoughtful and unexpected. Really recommend this cottage.

The most stunning stay at Ross and Becky’s property, the views and location is second to none and the facilities and comfort of the hut is beyond our expectations. We stayed as a group of four adult women and the space was more than adequate. I can’t wait to return.

Honestly the photos do not do this place justice its incredible what a view and the host could not have been better extremely helpful, always there at request, respectful, polite all round wonderful person even made us scones to bake and the the towels shaped in to love hearts was a really nice touch they made us feel welcome and right at home would recommend to anyone thank you sheila for a great experience will be visiting again

We had a wonderful stay at Widemouth Bay! The air bnb was perfect for our family stay. It had everything you needed, was well equipped, clean and beautifully decorated. The beach is literally a stones throw away which was fantastic with the glorious weather we had. We also had a great lunch at The Beach house which is also walking distance from the property. Rachel was a fantastic host and answered all our questions promptly. Thank you for such a lovely stay, we hope to come and stay again soon!

Rosie’s Retreat was absolute heaven. Quiet and private but close to Bude, pubs and beaches, the hut made for the perfect getaway. The view out over the valley was gorgeous, even in the rain sitting inside with the doors open was a delight. Lucy’s instructions were easy to follow and clear, important to get you out to the hut along a small country lane. It was clean and every detail was thought of. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing hideaway.

Fabulous three night break in this wonderful location. The weather was on our side, so eating breakfast on the decking, in the sunshine, looking out at the ocean was just perfect. Shower was hot, bed was comfy, kitchen was well-equipped and the hot tub provided the icing on the cake. We enjoyed walking along the coastal path with Ozzie the dog, and the local pub had some of the best views and decent pub grub. Sarah and Ed were lovely and friendly, whilst also being respectful of guest privacy. Great find! Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely week at Paul’s place in St Merryn. Paul’s communication was great from start to end and always helpful and on hand. Paul stays next door to the accommodation so is available if needed. We found the location great for exploring the beach which is just 5 min drive and only 10 min drive into Padstow. Local pub the farmers arms did lovely food (huge portions) and very welcoming. The air bnb had everything we needed, was a nice quiet location, easy parking, garden was especially nice as we had two children with us, all utensils there you need for cooking meals. Comfy beds, clean and tidy. Would return to Paul’s accommodation in the future. Thank you.

Outstanding. Lovely place to stay with truly welcoming and friendly hosts. We particularly enjoyed sitting downstairs, with the room flooded with light and a beautiful aspect. Great location. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Breathtaking views, lovely well equipped cabin. A few minor things, we chose this place for the location, didn’t disappoint, we had the weather, and sunsets. A little disappointed that the bbq was dirty so we didn’t use it. No big deal as we bought steaks and cooked them on the hob instead. Dog poo was found on the rug in the snug area, however the rug was brown and couid have been easily missed. I’m a dog person so we understand mistakes. Not sure if we should be responsible for cleaning the bbq before use, however as we were only there for 3 nights and wanted a proper break we didn’t use it. The slope down to the cabin is only really suitable for the fit and able, it’s muddy, grassy, and in places very uneven. Caution is needed especially if you have luggage, food etc. It’s quite steep but luckily the ground was very dry on our stay. So no trips or falls.

A lovely stay!! Our favourite part was the garden and beautiful river that runs through. Well located for adventures to Port Isaac and Boscastle, and we also did a lovely day trip down to St Ives and Zennor. All instructions were very clear and Alison was kind enough to recommend some farm shops to pick up groceries, we loved the Boscastle farm shop!

An amazing place to stay. Highly recommended! Spotlessly clean and loads of space. The welcome package was very much appreciated 🥂Loved the sun room to read a book and watch the sun set, whatever the weather. The local beach was peaceful and had a great bar overlooking it. Perfect beach for my children to have a surfing lesson too. Makes me want to live in Cornwall!

Lovely home right on the river. Excellent location to stay and rest up or explore the local area.

Really special position, very close to the cliffs and coastal path. Katy communicated really well and we had a great time there.

A great little find! Perfectly clean and tidy had everything we needed for a week away whilst visiting family. Marie was even kind enough to put the travel cot up so that made the first night much easier! thank you again! Nicely tucked away next to the jail but walkable to all the main amenities - plus camel trail, beacon ect. Would defiantly like to stay again! - plus my 3 year old made friends with the wild rabbit in the garden! Thanks again for having us! We had a great stay! X

Really a lovely and beautifully clean caravan, with towels and bedding and all the cleaning supplies etc so no need to bring too much from home. Stunning location you fall in love with straight away. Quiet in winter but you feel safe.

The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

We really enjoyed staying here as a group of five adults and 1 toddler. Plenty of room for us all and having 2 bathrooms was really great. The cabin is comfy and cosy, with beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. We used the cabin as a base to explore Cornwall as it is located centrally within easy reach of many popular towns. We loved coming back to the cabin in the evening and using the hot tub and waking up to the very friendly alpacas! You do have to drive up a very narrow and steep lane to reach the cabin but we were lucky that the lane is very quiet and so we never met any oncoming traffic. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day.

The Lodge was fab! The decor was outstanding. The hosts communication was perfect. I would choose the accomodation again in a heart beat! Thanks so much!! 😆

Our stay with Stephen was great! Very clean and private space cabin. With a lovely outside area where we sat with some friends. Very quiet and peaceful. Stephen was great and really flexible RE: check-in timings and always had a very quick response to any queries I had before our stay. Would highly recommend.

Marcus's place was great for our visit to Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and in a nice building. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and two beaches. When we got lost during check in Marcus was available over phone and he called us again later to make sure we got in okay. Very friendly!

Milton was extremely helpful. We left a few things behind he couldn’t have been more helpful. Answered every message quickly. We felt really at home in the Lodge. Everything we needed and appreciated the fire as the weather suddenly turned cold. Thank you for all your help. We would love to stay again.

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.
