Beautiful house and pool gite. Everything that you needed inside amd outside the house plus lots of extras, like dishwasher tablets. Beautiful surrounding area and great local town (Lalinde) with good restaurants and cafes. There was a market on Thursday which was good. Great host who was very helpful and responsive to our needs. Would love to come and stay again next year.

Iris' house is welcoming and peaceful ideal for recharging/resting as a family (concerning us) and even with friends. We had mild weather, so we were able to enjoy the outdoor space which is really nice with its covered living room with BBQ as well as the pool. We were there to visit the castles and enjoy the different tastings offered in the region and we could count on Iris's many tips.

Accommodation above our expectations, everything is thought out and made for a stress-free stay, there is just to put your bags down and enjoy the area . Didier has attention to detail, the accommodation is fully equipped, the typical stone building of the area is beautiful and in a quiet environment. All the necessary information about activities in the area is available and if necessary Didier will be able to guide you. High quality host

Happy and warm week. Very bright accommodation with floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere. Nothing is missing to live your vacation well, everything is clean. It is missing a microwave and a kettle; eco-friendly fireplace is required. The photos were well taken as the trees have since grown on the panoramic view. Hot tub very welcome. Safety improvements offered especially for children: missing railings throughout the basement including behind ping pong, sliding door of the 1-seater bedroom, ... Beautiful area with many remarkable activities and sights.

With or without rain, always something to do, surrounded by backyard animals! The trailer is functional, impeccable for our two children aged 3 and 4. BBQ, canoe ride, carriage ride for children, bikes...everything is as described. Obviously, a big thank you for Brigitte and Jean-Marie for their warm welcome as well as their availability. Looking forward to it!

The house was in a perfect location, it was quiet but close to everything. It was clean and well equipped. Marine was super responsive and easy to work with.

Michel and Noëlle are the best; they were there from the moment we arrived, and until we left. They are available while being discreet. Communication is easy. The accommodation was impeccable, very clean and functional. The shower is very large which is nice. The bedroom and living room are very good too. We couldn't try out the pool because it was closed (and in any case the weather wasn't suitable) and we didn't use the hot tub even though it was offered to us. Nevertheless, the pool looks great! It makes you want to go back in the summer. As for the car, it can be parked safely inside the property. In addition, dogs are welcome, which is a huge plus for the accommodation. Thanks for everything.

We absolutely loved our stay with John & Terry! We can't say enough about how kind they are, how lovely their place & property is- truly one of the best experiences we've had. They had amazing suggestions for us during our stay, and everything we could think of in the space. Our two kids were so sad to leave when it was time to checkout, they made us promise that we'll be back! Thank you so much, John & Terry- we look forward to our next visit! :)

Accommodation matches the description, very quiet, ideal for recharging your batteries. We will come back without problems, I recommend it to everyone without hesitation. We had a wonderful stay. The gitè was easy to find, well equipped and had everything we needed for a week long trip with two young children. The children especially loved the roaming chickens, the trampoline and the tent in their bedroom. The corner downstairs with toys was also a hit. We explored the local villages, caves and chateau's and Jacqueline was communicative throughout.

The AirBnB is beautiful - it was as described and how it looked in the photos. It was extremely well equipped too and very well thought out. It was easy to find and Nora, the host, was on hand for an early check in luckily. It does require a car but anywhere in the area would. You could probably walk into Pellegrue but you would be walking on high speed roads without pavements. The villa has beautiful views to wake up to too. My only recommendation would be to bring a sleep mask if you personally need total blackout - the natural sunlight does peek through the shutters but the rooms are still somewhat dark (although my toddler did not wake early despite doing so at home if her room is not pitch-black). Nora was a great host! She was able to provide a second travel cot without any trouble when asked. She responded super quickly and was amenable throughout our entire stay. Would recommend and would return in the height of summer to this beautiful place.

We had a wonderful stay at Dirk's. We were 2 families with children and everyone enjoyed the place. Dirk is a very friendly and always available host. Please note that there are no horses as presented in the advertisement. Small disappointment for children who dreamed of seeing them. They will be present from January. The place is spacious and very convenient. The beautiful swimming pool is shared with dirk, his family and the tenants of the wooden hut but this does not taint the pleasure of this magnificent panorama and it allowed us to chat with the owner. Be careful if you are afraid of dogs there are 3 on site including one that protects the property well. From the house you can explore this sublime region.

Linda and Alex's villa is in a beautiful & peaceful location, it has a fantastic swimming pool and beautiful gardens with lots of things to do – table tennis, swimming, boules, & relaxing 😌 The area is wonderful with lots of River swimming and beautiful towns all within a 10/15 minute drive We will definitely be returning

We had a pleasant stay at Dominique's in the small house. We enjoyed the pool to cool off and the tranquility of the place. We visited several nearby cities, in order to broaden our knowledge about the Gironde. Thank you for being able to provide a crib and baby chair. Good continuation to you

Jon was a great host and supplied everything we needed, also really quick to answer any questions. The place was amazing and in great condition, really nice rural location with plenty of towns to explore nearby for day trips. We had a lovely week and a half staying there and exploring the local area! The house has everything you need and the pool table, swimming pool & BBQ are perfect for relaxing days staying in and enjoying the sunshine! Thanks Jon!

We had a great time in a quiet and beautiful place. We especially enjoyed the pool area which is very nice and well appointed. The spacious park allows you to have a good quiet time and good walks. A relaxation area and games consisting of several sports equipment makes it possible to diversify the activities inside of the site. We recommend this cottage which is a very good value.

Firstly the hosts were responsive from the moment we booked to right through to check out. It helps they live on-site so when we had questions/issued Tas was with us instantly. The house has an incredible wow factor, and the heated pool and outside setting was to die for. Perfect for a general pool party / bbq party. What we especially liked as 3 couples with babies and toddlers, Tas has a “just like home approach” meaning we were not at all worried about the kids. The house is well equipped and had 3 high chairs and cots (with matresses). The bedrooms are wonderful and beds very comfortable, for an old house even the shower pressure was good. This region is rural so with water nearby do expect the usual flies/bugs/mozzie. That said, I was not biten all week and there were ample citronella aids (raid) left in kitchen for us along with a welcome hamper. Hosts are English and cater for a UK audience very well. Noise was never a problem and we felt at ease al week.

We had a great time at Isabelle and Patrick's place, excellent welcome with a fully equipped accommodation and very well located. Quiet and comfortable will come back to our next visit thank you .

We absolutely loved this place. There is masses of space with access to several barns and a huge courtyard which is fenced making it perfect for our two dogs. The pool is beautiful and is a sun trap. It gets the sun until it sets and the sunsets there are stunning. The hiking in the area is incredible and we would walk for at least two hours every morning with our dogs. We used the All Trails app and found some really interesting places. Anne was super friendly and helpful. We definitely want to go back.

A big family of 11, we had a great time. Jean Marie and Nicole welcomed us warmly and were available for any needs. The accommodation, although very old (and it is part of its charm) was very good: quiet, clean pool, beautiful garden. We needed to contact Jean Marie for a small problem in the apartment who followed up very quickly and fixed the problem. I can only recommend this place.
