A paradise for mountain hikers and nature lovers. The trail around the Biros valley (tour du Biros) passes in front of the door. You can hike right away from home and get on foot onto a network of trails connecting to the GR.10 and the Spanish border. Jump in cold waterfalls and streams or go for mushroom or blueberry picking.

Welcome to Playras! Come and recharge your batteries in this tiny hamlet, a little piece of heaven perched at 1100 m altitude, facing south. Stunning views of the Spanish border chain. This hamlet is made up of about fifteen old barns, each more beautiful than the last, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Tour du Biros) passes in front of our house. Multiple hikes possible without taking your car. We'll be happy to let you know!

A charming, studio flat in the heart of the Pyrenees in the beautiful village of Arrout. A light and airy room in a 18th century barn conversion with a newly fitted kitchen. You have your own entrance and a private bathroom . French windows open onto a little patio and garden and views of the woods and there are beautiful views of the mountains (and snow) from the garden and village. We live next door in the main house. It has outdoor access (unfenced) with a sheltered terrace. It is located in a village, which includes many hiking trails. Comfortable, warm, with stunning views of the Couserans mountains, this is the perfect place to recharge and explore the surroundings.
