We just had an absolutely magical stay at Cindy's, and we can only pull our hat off to her! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed in his Airbnb, which is a real gem. The decoration is simply lovely and every detail has been thoughtfully thought out, creating an atmosphere that is both cozy and elegant. The ambient calm allowed us to fully recharge, and everything was compliant, or even beyond our expectations! Cindy is an exceptional host, of remarkable kindness and availability. An interesting layout for a beautiful cottage, it takes a bit to get used to it, amazing views, at the edge of the forest and the village. We had a wonderful time with our friends, lots of activities to do in the area and many places to visit. Thank you for you hospitality, Lumi & Liviu

Patrick is a welcoming, available and very flexible host. It offers a very nice studio tastefully renovated, the location is great (1 min walk to parking and amenities, close to the castle). The accommodation is in a nice shady alley and remains cool despite the high temperatures. Only one small downside, a little pedestrian traffic in front of the bay window, but there are curtains and the village remains quiet. In short, if you plan to spend a weekend in Castelnaud, you won't be disappointed!

If you are looking for a big beautiful house for a family holiday, look no further! This house is spacious, beautifully decorated, located in a quiet countryside but only ten minute drive to a big supermarket. We enjoyed the indoor pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and playing boules. Photos don’t do the house justice. It exceeded our expectations. Would recommend staying here and we would not hesitate to stay again. Lise was very responsive in her communication. We drove through the night to get to the house and Lise kindly offered us a one off earlier check in, which we were grateful for.

Beautiful little terrace house in Belves within walking distance of the centre of the village. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants within. Five minute walk. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. The steps to the outside terrace are very steep and could be slippery if damp but the area is lovely to relax in. Lots to see and places to visit in this beautiful part of France.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes. A very nice stay in the countryside. Very nice accommodation, spacious and well kept. Special mention at the hot tub session which was included and allowed us to rest after very intense days. Highly responsive and pleasant host. We would definitely recommend this place.

Perfect central ground floor apartment. Comfy and clean. Thank you to Laure for helping us with the tv as we didn’t know how to work it. Bergerac is a lovely place to visit. Would love to come back again. Next time I need to brush up on my French as most of the locals don’t speak English. Or let’s say, they would rather you speak French. And why not.

The perfect place for a couple to stay in the centre of old town Sarlat. Christophe was incredibly communicative and accommodating!

On an extended family weekend (with two young children) in the Périgord, we found an ideal base for exploring at Benoît's. The accommodation was perfect for relaxing after the visits. The swimming pool, terrace and small flower garden make it a very nice haven.

The location was excellent - very quiet and secure, bolangerie and casino supermarket across the road, parking downstairs, and literally 100m from the centre. The bed was comfortable, shower hot, spacious and excellent living area/kitchen. The only downside was two flights of stairs - not easy for some, but fine for us. Would definitely stay again.

Although my stay was short, the studio was very comfortable with so many amenities you can feel at home

Best ever a truly 5 starts, great location, beutiful place confi bed, free parking is 10 minutes walking, great towels, cotton linen sheets, it my be a little more expensive but is worth every penny….i can’t fault this place in any thing…..

Beautiful quiet apartment, very well equipped and nicely decorated, very clean, a parking space. On a stopover, we had two relaxing nights there (on the way there and back). Beautiful view from the living room of a beautiful valley. Very friendly welcome from our guests. Practical side, takeaway pizzas in the village 5 min away. I recommend it.

Stephanie was a fantastic host who was a pleasure to meet and taking the time to tell us about all the local places to visit and her apartment was ideally located for walking into Sarlat town centre in just a couple of minutes and it was a very enjoyable 3 day stay, thanks David and Teresa

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

Sandrine and Pascal were very responsive to questions before booking. Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.

Sarlat was special to us! With Christmas approaching, it was complete. The city is small but charming! The Christmas market, very cheerful and welcoming, made a place in our hearts! It was a great place to choose and visit numerous sites in the region. The apartment is exactly as described. The cost-benefit was valuable to us. If I had known Sarlat before, as well as the apartment, I would spend Christmas there! It would have been magical! Thanks host! I'll be back if the world doesn't end first!
