We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

Forester's lodge on the Malberg estate

Holidays in the heart of Germany! Tucked away in the hilly low mountain range landscape of northern Hesse and surrounded by orchards, lies the historic Malberg manor house with its extensive history dating back to 1253. The reinvention of the old forester's lodge from 1964 was completed at the end of 2022. We have furnished the rooms as we would like to spend our holidays ourselves and have lovingly taken care of many details so that you will feel very comfortable with us.

Relax - in this quiet, stylish, new building. Completely newly equipped and built sustainably according to the latest technological standards. Approx. 20 minutes walk to the historic old town / main train station, 5 minutes to the bus stop / AST taxi. An office table and chair can be provided free of charge. Everything that is needed is available, please inquire if you would like something additional. Outside area and garden are not finished yet, but soon :-)

The apartment

Our apartment has a beautiful view of the surroundings. From the panoramic window, or from one of the terraces. A terrace invites you to chill and is elevated right in front of the door. On the second terrace is the hot tub, grill, seating and fireplace. Parking is included. Wi-Fi is included. Our apartment is modernly equipped. 65-inch flat-screen TV and much more. The hot tub is heated and is there for your own use all year round. There are no other guests.

Hytte Willingen - Cozy wooden hut in the uplands

We are happy to present our second hut called "Hytte". Cozily furnished in Willingen-Bömighausen, it will delight you. Surrounded by forest, meadows and pastures, this charming place is not only suitable for recreation and relaxation. In addition to its ideal starting point for hiking (Uplandsteig), cycling and excursions to the beautiful region, it is only a few kilometers away from the Willingen ski area. Dogs are welcome! (€30 per stay)

The Mediterranean-style house "Bella Vista" is located on a sunny viewing platform above the lake, in the middle of idyllic nature, directly on the jungle path and offers a fantastic view far over the lake, the castle of Waldeck and the mountain ranges of the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. The apartment "TOSCANA" is the "crown jewel" of the three apartments located in the house, which is elegantly and nobly furnished.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

In the idyllic village Königshagen you will find our beautifully restored half-timbered farmhouse. The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Ideal for walking and tranquility.   The house is very luxurious: three saunas, two bathrooms, pool table and much more! There’s lots to do in the area. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
