You shouldn't expect luxury, but rather an adventure and the challenge of getting by with little. With stick bread by the campfire and an evening view from the tree house into the starry sky, you can escape everyday life.

You will be staying close to the Wadden Sea, which is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Højer is worth a visit with the beautiful old houses and the small streets with sights such as Højer mill, Højer sluse, arts and crafts. We live directly on the Wiedaudeich, which belongs to a large nature reserve with a fascinating birdlife and at the same time forms the border with Denmark. Here you can experience the famous sort sol, the black sun, in the spring and autumn, the breathtaking dance of ten thousand starlings in the evening sky.
