In the small wooden house surrounded by half-timbered houses in the quiet village center, you can relax and enjoy the nature of nearby Franconian Switzerland. The loft-like ecological wooden construction makes the apartment unique. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove. There is also underfloor heating in the bathroom and adjoining room. In the secluded garden area, a sauna, cold water shower with bathtub, sun loungers and dining area are at your disposal. The surroundings entice with numerous outdoor activities.

Baroque apartment at the Old Town Hall 1

A very special apartment in a dream location with a view of the Bamberg City Hall, stylishly furnished with antiques. The front building was erected in 1530, and the water side followed in 1640. Originally a half-timbered house that was plastered during the Baroque period in the 17th century. The facade was restored in May 2026 with a lot of love for detail and now shines again in full splendor next to the city hall. The house was purchased by my grandparents in 1968; before that, it was a pharmacy for 200 years.

These are located in a separate building, 2 apartments are on the first floor with terrace, 2 on the second floor with balcony. Each apartment has 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room, bathroom & separate toilet. Im Umland kann man wandern, klettern, am Badesee entspannen, Städte wie Bamberg, Bad Staffelstein, Coburg, Kronach, Bayreuth und Kulmbach besuchen. Herrlich ist es auch, einfach im Garten oder auf der Terrasse die Ruhe zu genießen und Hühner, Laufenten oder manchmal auch Schafe zu beobachten.

Ideal for dog owners as we are directly adjacent to fields and meadows. A bakery, butcher and supermarket are almost around the corner and in the village there are inns with good home cooking and home-brewed beer. The Main and quarry lakes in the vicinity provide cooling on hot days.
