Beachfront vacation rentals in Ryfylke

The place is absolutely idyllic. If you want to feel like living in a botanical garden and fruit garden with own lake and boat, with unbelievable view, this is your place. Two more features that are very precious nowadays - silence and darkness. You can observe Milky Way and millions of stars from terrace. And all this in absolute silence, similar to what I experienced last time in my grandma’s timber cabin 40 years ago.

Koselig hus. Vi var der to netter med vår datter på 2.5 år. Vi besøkte sauene som bodde lengre ute på Øyen. Det lille biblioteket var veldig populært. Kjøkkenet var velutstyrt, med flere vaffeljern!

Amazing experience! We stayed in the cabin for 2 days but I’d easily spend in the house a week or two. Perfect location right next to the water with mountains around. 3 isolated bedrooms, nice wooden stove, 100% equipped kitchen, even the dishes are super beautiful Absolutely worth all the good reviews, thank you!

Really lovely flat right by the harbour. We stayed here to visit Iris and the boat picks you up 30 seconds walk from the front door. The flat was really nice and extremely clean and communication was super easy and clear. We went for a 10km walk in the morning and it was stunning - perfect location to also see some of the beautiful scenery. Highly recommend and thank you for a lovely stay!

Helt nydelig og fredelig sted usjenert ved vannet . Kjempefin hytte med alt du trenger . Virkelig et flott sted . Vi kommer gjerne tilbake

Wir haben leider eine regnerische Woche in Norwegen erwischt. Wir waren trotzdem wandern, golfen und angeln, aber waren auch viele Stunden in der Unterkunft und haben die Brandung aus dem Wohnzimmer durch die wunderschöne Fensterfront genossen. Das kann man wirklich nicht beschreiben.

What a fantastic time we have spent in Trude and Andreas’ magnificent house in Haukanes on Huglo! The charming, secluded and well equipped traditional red house and its quiet surroundings are breathtaking with ever changing views, the greens and flowers, the small cottages, the boathouse, the pier, the boat and of course the sea only a few meters away. Despite some fairly rainy days we (two adults and a youngster of 16) enjoyed a lot the cozy house and had plenty to do exploring the island; hiking the Natur/Kulturstien, “climbing” Høgafjellet more than once, and talking to the very friendly and helpful Huglare. Other highlights included ice cream sessions at the Huglabutikken (with a surprisingly good selection of groceries), the multiple ferry trips to Hodnanes and Jektavik and the hiking on Stord (Stovegolvet). Trude and Andreas are fantastic hosts, extremely fast in answering any questions we had and we would warmly recommend to visit their magic place on Huglo.

Villa med panoramautsikt is a very beautiful spacious retreat nestled in the hills of Fusa Commune. We travelled by car easily from Bergen via a short ferry. The house is well equipped for winter and summer with sauna, swimming pool, barbecue area & lots of space inside & out to relax. The area has very beautiful walks & we were lucky to find a small local shop open on a Saturday- Eikhaugen Gjestegard - for delicious cinnamon buns & coffee and some great food gifts! Jorunn was very helpful with information before we arrived, very welcoming & the house was clean & very comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Anders is een perfecte gastheer die behulpzaam is en zeer flexibel is. De boot en zelfs de Hengels mocht ik gebruiken (boot zoals aangegeven tegen een vergoeding). Prachtige locatie voor wandelingen en (voor mij vooral) vissen (kabeljauw, pollak, Leng, pijlinktvis, schar en zelfs een haai).

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig und schön auf einer Insel gelegen, welche über einen Pier erreicht wird. Der zugehörige Pavillon lädt zu herrlichen Sonnenuntergängen mit Blick auf den Fjord ein. Frode ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und immer erreichbar!

Hôte très sympathique, flexible, disponible. Maison très fonctionnelle et tres propre. Literie et mobilier confortables. Bel environnement et recommandations de la proprietaire. Merci 😊

Ein sehr schönes Häuschen, ruhig gelegen. Man braucht etwa 20 Minuten von der Fähre zum Haus, zum Teil über Schotter. Wir hatten eine schöne Woche verbracht. Angeln vom Boot aus möglich. Zum Wandern sind wir aber mit dem Auto etwas weiter raus gefahren. Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Es war alles perfekt. Genauso wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben und es auch auf den Fotos zu erkennen ist. Wer dem Alltag entfliehen will und die Natur liebt ist hier genau richtig.

Vi var en gjeng på ti stykker ut på helgetur. Huset er nydelig og ligger perfekt til for turer på sjøn. Tusen hjertelig takk fra helen gjengen og på gjensyn neste år

Vi blev virkelig godt modtaget og følte os straks hjemme. Fantastisk beliggenhed lige ned til Lysefjorden. Gode anbefalinger til vandreture i området som byder på meget mere end Prejkestolen. Hele vejen fortrinlig og venlig kommunikation.

Toll gelegenes niedliches kleines Häuschen mit unschlagbarem Fjordblick. Blick auf Schweinswale und Regenbogen inklusive. Super ausgestattete Küche. Viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Leider ist das Haus für ältere Menschen oder Menschen mit Mobilitätseinschränkungen, sowie kleinere Kinder nicht zu empfehlen, da ein steiler Schotterweg zum Haus bewältigt werden muss und auch im Haus die oberen Zimmer nur über eine steile Treppe zu erreichen sind. Direktes Parken ist vor dem Haus nicht möglich, der Weg zum Fjord ist leider auch sehr beschwerlich.
