Thank you for a wonderful stay in Vikedal. This was, without doubt, one of the most pleasant vacations we ever spent. Not only because of the location and surroundings, but also because of your friendly and warm welcome.

The fjordhouse is a lovely old house from where it's great to explore the surrounding area. The house has all you need and is furnished in a really nice way 😃

Everything was very good

We had a great time, the house is spacy and cosy, excellent view and very tidy. Worth mentioning, the hike up the hill, a very nice scenery and inspired pieces of craft and resting benches on the way to the top. The view from the plateau is iconic, an untouched preserved area all around the neighbouring fiords.

Marit Irene is a sweet host, with good communication and thoughtful. She showed us around the farm and we were lucky to see some new born lambs. The cabin is very cozy and has the Norwegian style. You can find everything you need :)

Our group loved the place! We felt at home. It was peaceful, but at the same time we were offered to use some amenities in the area. Will definitely recommend this place to others!

We stayed a wonderful, sunny autumn weekend with sunshine from early morning until just past 18:00/6pm. Super views over Røldal, with the valley below being covered in autumn fog until around noon. Loved all the (personal) details everywhere, with a kitchen having everything we needed to create all our meals. Everyone from age 11 weeks to 64 years had a great time. No need for TV with such a view!

Solveig & Dag's house is a gem! It is located with stunning views of beautiful nature with fjords and mountains. There are hiking trails that start from the door and others located in the mountain areas or along the fjord nearby. The house is well equipped and Solveig and Dag provide what may be missing. They also have good advice and tips on trips and activities in the area. The house is part of the farm and there are sheep in the lia below the house. Exotic for us from the city and fun for those with kids. It can be convenient by car for action and excursions. We definitely recommend this place and would love to come again!

Very cozy space where both large and small had a good time. A little drive away from Bekkjarvik where we were at weddings, absolutely great! Nice prices and hosting, nice communication

What a fantastic place this is! When you step inside, you'll be overwhelmed by the space and the wide view. Natalie and her family welcomed us warmly. We enjoyed their kindness and hospitality.  We were allowed to stay with 2 adults and 2 young children a few days in this house, a nice place to completely unwind with the sound of the flowing stream next to the house. Natalie has been able to give us many tips on what to do in the area, from activities in surrounding places to a walk to a beautiful mountain lake. When we were there, young goats were also born daily. Our kids really enjoyed being with the goats.  The living area is large and at the same time attractively furnished. For the children, there are all kinds of toys and space to play with them. In the evening, it's wonderful to sit with the sun in your face on the nice chairs or sofa to read a book. When the sun is out it can get hot in the house, but with the AC the space is cool.  The kitchen is equipped with almost all comforts. It's a party for cooking and being able to look outside in the meantime. There is no freezer or microwave. That was no problem for us at all, should you need that or anything else, Natalie and her family will be waiting for you.  The living space is large, the bedrooms and bathroom are a lot smaller compared to that. That doesn't bother you, the beds sleep well, the shower is nice. However, it can be a bit tricky when the shower floor is wet and then someone has to go to the toilet.  We had a wonderful time. Due to the place, the house and the hospitality of Natalie and her family, we had a nice holiday. Highly recommended to go here for a few days!

This is our second time here. We are just as happy this time! The apartment is absolutely great and the surroundings are child friendly. Feel free to meet the animals on the farm! We enjoyed the house very much. This is a great, lovingly restored boathouse in its own small bay with its own jetty and private pier. The house has lots of charm and is equipped to a high standard. There is also a good motorboat available, which you can use to explore the beautiful surroundings on the water. In the evening, we ate fish, crabs and mussels we caught ourselves on the beautiful terrace. Overall a very nice stay, thank you!

Great place to stay! Arne Johan was quick to respond and helped facilitate our arrival! Guests had everything they might need for their stay and only had positive things to say about the space! Recommended to others who will be visiting and we would like to come back in the future.

The house is really cozy and had everything we needed. Location is great to explore Karmøy. It was very easy to communicate with Anita.

Nice house! Jacuzzi was wonderful. Some parts of the house are not quite finished yet, but most of it is very neat. Nearby there is a nice hotel where you can rent a boat and fish. Supermarket at a 10-minute walk.

A lovely and charming house with everything and a little extra you might need on a trip. Good beds, nice and clean kitchen and bathroom, lots of space and nice details everywhere. Alelam that we got to walk into the fjord next door. Very much for children there like dining chairs, cots, books, service ++. Absolutely great 😄

Great location and very nice surrounding. There were odd flies inside the property but it is end of summer and it is in the nature. Lovely Jacuzzi and sauna.

Always nice to stay here. Clean and proper and nothing to complain about. Friendly and pleasant hostess, who always follows up.

This was an incredibly cozy and good place to be. Good and warm, cozy living room, practical kitchen, good beds, well equipped.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Grandma house. The house was really lovely and big, and thanks to its location we did the Preikestolen hike and the Manafossen waterfall. Hilde was also really friendly and available when we needed her. I highly recommend staying at the Grandma house if you need a place to stay in the area !

Lovely place that is recommended! The location was peaceful and lovely, well equipped house with soul, clean and neat and many available activities for the kids, both outside and inside. Helpful and pleasant host. Here we would very much come back.

We had a great time in the beautiful house on the hill, as the weather was not so good, we were glad to be able to stay in such a beautiful, comfortable and generous house. Anders welcomed us very warmly and was always responsive to questions and always offered us his help! Thank you very much! Thank you also for the delicious welcome from Dagrunn, we were all thrilled. The area was very appealing, we were often by the sea and were looking for and fishing crabs, the hike into the mountains was also stunning. From the house, everything was easily accessible on foot or over short distances by car. We enjoyed the quietness and the scenery very much. For our children it was very nice on the property of Anders and Dagrunn, great for running around, playing at the source, jumping on the trampoline! We are glad we found Anders and Dagrunn's cottage here on AirBnB, we couldn't have had a better time!
