Little paradise in the middle of soothing and beautiful nature. Exceptional hosts! The accommodation is impeccable and well appointed. Far enough from the village to be able to enjoy it and stay in a relaxing calm with birdsong and crickets. We had a great time. We had a great time with the family (with two young children and our dog). The accommodation was impeccable, very clean, pleasant to stay in and perfectly as advertised. The environment is quiet and relaxing, ideal for relaxing. The host was very welcoming and responsive to our messages, which made our stay even more serene. Check-in and check-out procedures are simple and convenient. We would recommend it without hesitation. Thank you again.

we had a lovely stay. The accommodation is very nice and very well-equipped. we enjoyed the veranda and garden with great pleasure. also note that the accommodation is located in a village with several shops (bakery, butcher, restaurant, coffee shop, grocery stores,....) it is very convenient. The accommodation is also very well located for visiting the Vezere Valley.. Our favorites near the accommodation Saint Léon de Vézère, Saint Amand de Coly and Fanlac. thank you to Paulette and her husband for their welcome.

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

Cozy accommodation in the heart of Périgord Noir in a peaceful environment. Beautiful area and beautiful terrace. Lydia and Julien are very friendly and despite a long holiday weekend, they insisted on coming to see if everything was ok for us. Welcome with a bottle of wine. Linen and sheets that smell wonderfully good. On the other hand, wifi is a little tight for teleworking. I recommend it.

Marie’s home was beautiful and without a doubt the highest standard of accommodation we’ve stayed in with Airbnb. The location is so peaceful and felt very safe behind the remote controlled gate for your car and then the bungalow itself was absolutely superb, immaculately spotless with the most comfortable bed and living room accommodation and a kitchen and bathroom with all of the highest quality appliances, it really is superb. Marie was a charming host and if we get back to visit this beautiful part of the world again we shall definitely be staying here again, many thanks David & Teresa x

Perfect central ground floor apartment. Comfy and clean. Thank you to Laure for helping us with the tv as we didn’t know how to work it. Bergerac is a lovely place to visit. Would love to come back again. Next time I need to brush up on my French as most of the locals don’t speak English. Or let’s say, they would rather you speak French. And why not.

A very nice, spacious, comfortable apartment which met all our needs. Communication was very clear and helpful. From the place you are in the middle of the city centre in about two minutes walk. Also parking instructions were very helpful. Very good price/quality, would recommend to everyone!

We loved our stay here. Wonderful location - an easy walk to the cathedral, centre-ville, and markets. It is a medieval building with narrow, steep, and winding stairs, so if you deal with mobility issues, or are an over packer, lol, this is not the place for you. But we loved it. Everything we needed for a comfortable and wonderfully located stay. Would come again.

Best ever a truly 5 starts, great location, beutiful place confi bed, free parking is 10 minutes walking, great towels, cotton linen sheets, it my be a little more expensive but is worth every penny….i can’t fault this place in any thing…..

Beautiful quiet apartment, very well equipped and nicely decorated, very clean, a parking space. On a stopover, we had two relaxing nights there (on the way there and back). Beautiful view from the living room of a beautiful valley. Very friendly welcome from our guests. Practical side, takeaway pizzas in the village 5 min away. I recommend it.

Stephanie was a fantastic host who was a pleasure to meet and taking the time to tell us about all the local places to visit and her apartment was ideally located for walking into Sarlat town centre in just a couple of minutes and it was a very enjoyable 3 day stay, thanks David and Teresa

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

Sandrine and Pascal were very responsive to questions before booking. Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.

Sarlat was special to us! With Christmas approaching, it was complete. The city is small but charming! The Christmas market, very cheerful and welcoming, made a place in our hearts! It was a great place to choose and visit numerous sites in the region. The apartment is exactly as described. The cost-benefit was valuable to us. If I had known Sarlat before, as well as the apartment, I would spend Christmas there! It would have been magical! Thanks host! I'll be back if the world doesn't end first!
