Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Rotorua

Loved our stay!! Kerry and David are lovely hosts and very helpful. Super cozy and looked exactly like the photos. Had everything we needed and we felt right at home; especially with the welcome board and snacks :) My nephew really enjoyed the toys and games too. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

It was a very good place to stay. Graham and Sarah are very friendly, easy to talk and helpful couple. They have thought of everything for a comfortable stay. They have horses, cows, sheep and pigs that we could feed - the kid loved it. The bunk beds were a big hit for my kid. I would stay here again next time I go to Rotorua and I wouldn't need to go anywhere,I could stay the whole day at this house. There is so much to do games, BBQ, table tennis etc etc.

I highly recommend Sherry's Airbnb! My friends and I had an amazing stay - it was so cozy and comfortable and we had everything we needed.

We had such a great time staying at Mark’s place ! The home was warm and inviting and we loved making the fire at night, especially our 4 year old. The beds were super comfy and there was lots of touches that made our stay so nice and welcoming, including the bathroom heaters which were so good after a warm bath. The homemade bread was really thoughtful and delicious and for busy parents it made such a difference knowing there was something good for the kids to have. Not to mention fresh coffee beans ! For coffee snobs like us that was perfect 👍🏼 We would come back again for sure ! Thanks so much Mark 😊😊

We had a wonderful stay at Sam’s place. The space was big, had all the amenities and was within a 10 min drive of ALL that Rotorua had to offer. We felt right at home!! Place was clean and in a very quiet neighborhood.

Beautifully kept home and immaculately clean. Can’t fault the stay.

We had an amazing stay here. We were a group of 2 families with 4 adults and 7 kids and it fitted us perfectly. The spa was a hit as was the big room downstairs with the tv. Great kitchen space with everything we needed. House was warm with heat pumps and heaters. We had all our bikes and felt safe leaving them on the cars overnight as the property is up a hill and relatively secluded. Amazing views! Hosts were responsive and helpful. We’ll be back again!

Is this little slice of paradise had to be summed up in one word.. it would be Stunning. Stu has gone above and beyond to create an aesthetically pleasing yet warm space, thoughtfully decorated and appointed. Get ready to leave your stay rejuvenated and relaxed!

Susie's loft is spacious and comfortable, and only 5 mins walk away from the lake. Smooth check in and out. Would love to stay again!

An excellent location and extremely helpful host. The space is spotlessly clean and solid value. The cats were adorable and gave the place character. Way better than booking a motel room ...it felt safe and cosy. Highly recommended and we will book again.

Barbara and Tim were top-notch hosts! They went out of their way to locate a shop which offered an activity we were looking to do, always responded to my messages promptly and proactively offered help and checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable without being intrusive. The unit is pristine, completely furnished with all the features one could want (kitchen and red wine glasses were AWESOME) and is easily accessible from the road and within the property. Throw in a million dollar view from the property and this is one of the best stays you could hope to find.

This was probably one of my favourite Air BnBs. It was so beautiful and felt super cosy. Location was great and the host was fantastic. Very responsive with communication. I would happily stay here again and recommend to friends visiting the area!

We felt very welcomed at Phil’s home. Everything was tidy when we checked in, and Phil came by to greet us and introduce the space. He also pointed out the beautiful views and recommended interesting local activities. During our stay, it felt like a home away from home—but with spectacular scenery!

Beautiful, spacious, and on the lake!

Susannes is a very friendly and welcoming host who makes you feel at home directly. The place is clean and centrally located close to the bus stop but still quiet at night so that you can get a good night's sleep. Fully recommended.

I really recommend staying at Barb's place, it's got everything you would need for a short or longer stay. There's lots to do in the area and Barb gave some great recommendations and helpful information. As a host Barb is the best I've ever had, fast response time, friendly and very helpful, she really goes above and beyond!

Great home

We had an amazing four night stay here. The apartment was excellently furnished, the location effectively on the lakefront was fantastic and the outlook across the lake to Mount Tarawera was beautiful. We could not have wished for more. Thank you Murray for being such a great host

The Airbnb was really handy to the city so we were able to walk to Eat Street for a meal and not have to worry about drink driving. The apartment was very roomy and very clean. Good bed linen too. It’s a quiet street, no real,road noise which was nice.
