Guest Cabin at R & J Ranch

ChristineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loooved this cabin! Even being next to the house, you wouldn’t know it. It was nice and quiet! I told her this but I need you all to know too: there was a plethora of ice and plenty of towels, two things that may seem small but are very much appreciated!

Secluded Cabin 3 Porches 7 Min to Ft Leonard Wood

BeverlyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Beautiful and Private. The home is clean and as described. The interstate is nearby and can be heard from the front porch but not at all from the inside. The view of the stars was amazing and the property was well kept. Other reviews also mentioned the driveway and it is a somewhat steep gravel road with turns. It was a little bit of a challenge in an 2WD SUV pulling a light trailer, but doable. It really should be mentioned in the main listing, but other than that the description and home matched perfectly. I would definitely recommend and will be giving 5 starts.

Scenic two-bedroom Boathouse overlooking the river

ArthurRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We took our boys to Steelville during one of our son's spring break from MIZZOU. We enjoy riding dual sport/ADV motorcycles and the area is perfect for that located, as it is, near the Mark Twain National Forest. The home itself was perfect - very comfortable and cozy. Wonderful view of the Merrimac River valley. Also private and secluded. Great fire ring with ample fire wood that we enjoyed nightly. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the great bed linens. We also hiked a marked trail that headed west from the home. We hit every restaurant in Steelville and enjoyed them all (Rich's Famous Burgers, Spare Rib Inn, Royal Garden Chinese)- despite all by one not serving alcohol (Mr. Tequila of course). We also headed about 7 miles north to Cuba where there are more great restaurants. The hosts were wonderful and responsive to our requests. Couldn't ask for more. And the price point for the stay was more than reasonable for what we got. Will be glad to book there again.

Little Red Cabin near Paddy Creek

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It was a lovely experience at a cozy little cabin. Very secluded, but not too far from town. I will say the price was a bit steep for us as just a couple with a small child, but it was absolutely the best and one of the only accommodations available in the area. Very good deal if you’re traveling with a few more people or you have older children since there are three beds. We will definitely consider staying again if we are back in the area!

Cozy Cabin with fishing pond!

GinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderfully peaceful visit at the cabin! My Son wanted a weekend trip for his birthday and he picked this cabin himself. Everything was as described! He spent hours fishing, didn’t catch anything but there’s always next time. The cabin was warm and comfy and had everything we needed and more ! We plan to go back soon.

Cozy cabin and RV Park

Kathryn MarieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cabin was great! It was VERY clean, comfortable, and spacious. The space was modern, set up nicely, and the bed was very comfortable. Pictures accurately represented the accommodations It’s in a beautiful and quiet area of Rolla. Joe, the host, was very accommodating and friendly (Linda was out of town so we’ll meet her next time). The working farm added a fun element with some farm animals around. We will surely stay at the cabin again the next time we are in Rolla.

Kelly's Cottage at Three Rivers Retreat

ShannonRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We loved our stay. The privacy, the closeness to caves and streams, and the ease of our stay made it a great time. My one concern is that we didn’t understand the different levels of the house that resulted in steps up and down between areas. That was doable for us but could make a stay difficult for others. I have no hesitation staying there again but it is a consideration if you have mobility issues. Thank you for your hospitality!

Peaceful Cabin

CaryRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We DEEPLY enjoyed the cabin. Easy to find and remarkably clean. Just like the pics inside. The cabin was well-stocked with spices/condiments, oil, butter, snacks, bottled water, oatmeal, cereal, canned soup, popcorn, and more. They had good coffee, Keurig cups, and nice creamers. They provided charcoal for the grill, lighter fluid, and grill utensils as well as wood for the large stone fire pit. There were plenty of blankets, towels, toiletries, TP, paper towels, Ziplock bags, foil, cling wrap, and more. Our family had a blast wading 1/4 mi up the creek and listening to it through open screened windows at night. The hosts were top-notch in every way. We hope to return! Some items that didn’t bother us, but others might want to note: A mouse got into a sealed Ziplock bag of cookies we had in the kitchen. The property was picturesque from several angles, but did have some random equipment and stuff like hoses lying around and some old appliances and mattresses off in the distance.
A stone firepit with a lively fire sits at the center, surrounded by two metal chairs. A picnic table stands nearby, and logs are stacked in the background. The exterior of the cabin features wooden paneling and multiple large windows.

The Cabin at Honey Springs

MistyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
LOVED our stay here! We work 70-80 hour work weeks and really needed a peaceful place to just disconnect and we found it! The place was so cute, private, and the view was beautiful! The only thing i would have changed is having curtains in the livingroom to feel more privacy as there is one neighbor behind. But the place was so cute and clean. Setting on the front deck and looking at the pond was amazing, as well as the fire pit to enjoy the nature. The host was so friendly, helpful and quick to respond! And it's located in the middle of 'nowhere' , we ordered Huntsbrothers pizza (our fave!) from the gas station just up the road and another gas station has amazing fresh baked goods and sandwhiches. We have def added this to our monthly/bi-monthly little vacation spots and will for sure be back!

Secluded Getaway w/ River Access and Floating

GaryRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This was our second time at one of Jessica's properties, and we loved them both. Beautiful rural surroundings, private, very clean, and rustic. There are towns close by but you are far enough away to defuse. This property is also easy to find. Since the property is part of a cattle ranch we have also purchased beef both times, and it is outstanding. The TV was easy to use and the kitchen had whatever you needed to cook. Exactly what we were looking for.
The lodge features a rustic wooden exterior surrounded by trees. A covered patio area with chairs invites relaxation, while manicured grass and flower beds enhance the outdoor space. The entrance is clearly marked, showcasing a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Driftwood River Lodge

LyndseyRating, 5 stars9 months ago
This cabin was incredible. We stayed with 5 adults and 4 kids and had tons of space. The private beach was beautiful and easy to get to. I didn't mind climbing back up the hill from the beach but if you aren't in great shape, definitely grab a walking stick from the porch. The float with Bird's Nest was great and easy to coordinate. They picked us up right at the front door and brought us back afterwards. Kids and adults alike loved the cave and cold springs on the float trip. You can kind of hear the neighbors but it's not too bad. It's way quiteter than any other group of cabins we have stayed at. It was a perfect weekend and I highly recommend a stay here.

Ellen's Log Cabin with private mineral hot tub

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved our stay in the cabin - very peaceful and comfortable and well-equipped. Word of warning that the kitchen has plenty of utensils, dishes, etc, but is missing a few items we hoped for - cooking oil and a big pasta pot, for example. We figured things out and didn’t consider it a huge drawback, but thought it would be useful for people to know when they’re grocery shopping! We loved having the fire pit for some camping-style dinners.
The rustic log cabin, framed by trees, showcases a sloped roof with a covered porch. Natural wood tones blend with the surrounding landscape. The structure stands amidst greenery, with panoramic views extending into the valley. The peaceful atmosphere emphasizes seclusion and simplicity.

Aunt Phoebe's Cabin was everything my husband and I wanted it to be and more. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind from our busy lives. "Living" off-grid isn't for everyone, but we loved it and it allowed us time to unplug and focus on one another. Kathy and Heather were kind and helpful and quick to respond when we reached out with any questions. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future.
