Everything was just great! We had a really goid week!

We didn’t go to Chicago for a holiday but for a very sad memorial. The weather seemed to reflect the purpose of our trip — grey and very cold. That said, staying in Tracy’s apartment made everything a little bit better. It’s a truly beautiful space, very well cared for. The bed is excellent quality, and we slept really well. The kitchenette is exactly as described, and the large fridge/freezer allows you to store plenty. The sitting room is cozy, and the wide selection of TV channels — including Netflix and other streaming services — helps take your mind off things. Whenever we needed something, I messaged Tracy through the Airbnb app and always received a prompt and helpful response. Thank you for your flexibility and support. We hope to come back one day. I almost don't want to post this review because we want the Beach House to be available the next time we travel to Chicago, but I have to give credit where credit is due. This is a wonderful place to stay! The location is right on the water and the view of the lake and sunrise each morning was heavenly. The space was comfortable and exactly as described. Having a designated parking spot made things so easy, especially since we were traveling with my elderly parents. There was never a worry about where we would park when we left the apartment. It was easy to walk to the lake front parks and trails and the grocery store is convenient if you need to run out for some supplies. We all slept great and had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend in Chicago! We hope to stay here again.

We spent two months in this comfortable apartment on Sheridan in Roger's park. It is a 1/2 block from the lake and close to restaurants, lots of parks, and the red line. It was a bit noisy at times, as others have said, being right on Sheridan Road and having somewhat thin walls and floors between neighbors. But there was nothing that seriously disturbed our peace. The host was very responsive and the one issue we encountered while there was quickly resolved. It was also great to have our own parking space and not have to drive around searching for one in the evenings.
