Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Roaring Fork River

My best friend and our adult daughters went to Glenwood Springs to enjoy the hot springs and hiking. This was such a great location to the hot springs and downtown. The living room and lower level both had huge, cozy sectionals to snuggle up on to talk and watch movies. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner and have our morning breakfast. It was also very nice that each of us had our own bedroom. We had a great stay!

The house was very beautiful. It was well-stocked and offered everything that was advertised. There were many small extras that were offered, like beach towels for the hot tub, a place to put your shoes and hang your coats, coffee and tea and information about Glenwood Springs. The backyard was very large and beautiful.

This was the most wonderful place I've ever stayed! I really appreciated the thoughtful follow-up I received even before my stay. The house was absolutely lovely, and I truly wished I could have stayed longer than just one night. My whole family loved this wonderful home, and enjoying high-quality coffee in the morning made it the best memory. Since we checked in late, we strolled through the garden the next morning. The beautiful trees and flowers were so healing for us. Thank you so much!

Kale's place is a beautiful cabin a short walk from downtown. It's rustic in feel and aesthetic, but spotless, and the grounds are beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was wonderful up to the sun from the skylight -- we both got a great night's sleep and woke up feeling refreshed. One of my favorite AirBnB experiences in recent memory.

This is a beautiful home in a mostly secluded part of Crested Butte. The hosts are very responsive and flexible, and had the house in pristine condition for us. Couldn't ask for anything better.

Our stay at this mountain retreat was unforgettable! The views of the mountains were stunning, especially with the gorgeous sunrises each morning. The house itself was cozy yet spacious, and the chef’s kitchen was a dream – it had everything we needed to cook amazing meals. Preparing breakfast while looking out at the mountains was a highlight! The property’s friendly barn cats added such a warm, personal touch, and the neighbor horses were a delight to see each day, grazing just beyond the fence. It felt like our own little sanctuary, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts thought of every detail to make us comfortable and were so responsive to any questions. Highly recommend this beautiful retreat for anyone who loves cooking, nature, and incredible views. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place and wonderful host. Location is wonderful and works great once you figure out the bus/shuttle system. A couple tips: 1) Getting to/from the mountain to ski is easy - Crystal Road mountain shuttle leaves from the house every 30 minutes and takes you to Mountaineer Square. Pickup spot is very close to the house. 2) Getting to the town of Crested Butte is a bit more work if you don't have a car. You must catch the ski shuttle to Mountaineer Square then catch the town shuttle (which leaves every 15 minutes). Hope this helps with your planning.

This was the second time the my teenage daughter, dad, and I stayed at Kris and Karen’s place for a multi-day ski trip. It works perfectly for our needs.

We loved this place. It’s so easy to take the bus to Snowmass, the stop is right out front. You can walk to the grocery and the local pizza place. We loved the vibe of the place too.

Place was great. Right by base, and super clean. Didn’t need to inquire with host about anything as they were proactive in providing all needed instructions. Can’t wait to go back

We enjoyed staying at Erins place. The condo was very nice and conveniently located for skiing.

We were very satisfied with Katy's place, which is exactly like in the description and much more! The space is a little tight but it has everything we need as a family of three for a three-day ski trip. Katy is very thoughtful in that she provides all the amenities one can ever think of, which makes it very convenient for us. I love the plushy towels! I also appreciate Katy' tips on the ski resort and the Colorado Epic school kids program. Thank you again, Katy!

This is one of the best rentals we have experienced. Sandy is an exceptional, gracious and thoughtful host. Her attention to detail in making her guests feel at home...incredible! It starts when you walk in and are welcomed with a basket filled with goodies. The condo has views of the mountains, is beautifully decorated, immaculate, with comfy beds and sofa, fluffy towels and guest robes! The private shuttle to Beaver Creek and Vail ski resorts was greatly appreciated, as well as the locker area for ski storage. We can't thank you enough for sharing your beautiful condo with us.

Great location. We never used our car once we got there. The free shuttle was fabulous they dropped us off right at the gondola at Ajax and picked us up, we walked the 3 blocks each night to dinner in town which was fabulous. Bathtub was nice and big with plenty of hot water and my husband enjoyed the hot tub numerous times. Bed was comfy. Thanks Daniel!

We had an incredible stay at this cozy cabin near Vega Lake! The cabin was extra spacious, clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need — from kitchen essentials and fresh linens to extra blankets and even firewood. It felt like a true home away from home. The location was peaceful and private, with beautiful views and easy access to hiking, fishing, and all the natural beauty Vega Lake has to offer. We’d absolutely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing mountain escape!

The location is beautiful. We were looking for great views and peace and quiet — and that’s exactly what we got. The interior was clean and well-organized. The balcony offered amazing views, and we enjoyed watching active hummingbirds throughout our stay. Although the owners live next door, the way the property is set up, you don’t see or hear them at all — it feels very private. There are lots of interesting antique items around the outside of the property as you pull in, which adds a unique charm. Overall, a great stay!

My husband and I stayed at S. Lumberyard for one night and had a lovely experience overall. The place was super cute and impeccably clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. I especially appreciated how conveniently located it was—just a short distance from downtown, great restaurants, and scenic trails. The views were absolutely beautiful, adding a peaceful touch to the visit. The only downside was that the TV didn’t work, as it kept showing an error message. It wasn’t a major issue for me, but worth noting for future guests. All in all, I’d definitely recommend S. Lumberyard for a cozy and well-situated getaway!

Our family of four loved staying at Bill's place. We wanted a private, off-the-grid rental with easy access to a fishable river/creek and beautiful surroundings. Bill's place was just that. We loved hiking the property -- there's a beautiful, property trail that goes about a mile through meadows & towards the mountains. The stars at night were unbeatable. My kids loved floating in the creek across the street, and we loved fishing there & also driving about 5 minutes away where we had a good river access & caught lots of gorgeous rainbow trout. The kitchen is stocked with things like sugar, oils, seasoning & some dry goods people have left. Lots of utensils and plates & a great grill & smoker outside. The place is surrounded by cute chipmunks and deer - fun for our kids. One FYI is that there are two Airbnbs on the property - the main cabin and a separate barn with an apartment (which we hadn't realized) but wasn't an issue - other than that, you'll be alone if that's what you want!

My group is quite satisfied with our stay here. We arrived late at night and had an easy time getting inside. Seeing as it was already late, we were please with the clean and welcoming atmosphere, and soon found ourselves enjoying the hot tub. We all slept well, the beds and linens were cozy, and the coffee the hosts supplied was lovely, especially when drank out on the treehouse. Location is also excellent, we had a delicious breakfast in town, followed by a visit to a local alpaca farm.

Due to low competition and a decent price point compared to competition this place does well. I would rate it 3-4 stars based on just the mere location. The rating goes to 4-5 with the view you don’t get in Denver and the hot tub. Negatives- right off the highway so your heart rate goes up entering and leaving. There’s no shampoo just some cheap dollar store soap which I guess you can use for shampoo. Up to you.. bring your own if you want. Not really a tranquille mountain getaway as there’s a cabin infront of your nice Mountain View(not shown in the photos) and the sound of the highway outside. Positives- Hot tub with nice Mountain View’s, which make you forget about the highway noise and hopefully you fill it with good conversation with whoever you’re with. The prairie dogs scurrying around out back are cute. Conclusion- I have to say the hot tub saved it. Keep the hot tub maintained and people will be happy.

The RAD cabin is perfectly situated in Glenwood Springs, within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and plenty of activities. Other outdoor activities are just a short drive away. The cabin was easy to come and go on foot, though the construction in town made it challenging to navigate with a car. Guests with dogs should be mindful of the lack of sidewalks and other off leash dogs in the neighborhood, and the occasional bear sighting! The clean, cozy cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable, memorable stay.

My fiancé and I loved the cabins! It’s such a serene and peaceful experience! 10/10 recommend! We’re thinking of booking again in the fall so we can get the full wilderness experience!
