Places to stay in Riverfront, Wilmington

Perfect, old-school beach getaway! We loved parking ourselves on the “lifeguard stand built for two” and just watching: the waves, the wildlife, the surfers, the sky…soooo relaxing and just what we needed to unwind for a few days. We loved the laid back vibe of the place and the hosts!

The host was very responsive and the place was great all around. Views are amazing, parking is out front of the unit. This spot is one of the best for the price and worked well for three people for two nights. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in town.

It was our 40th anniversary and we decided that we wanted to go to our favorite beach in North Carolina. We could see the ocean from this apartment and a very short walk to the beach. Enjoyed sleeping on the beds and having 2 bathrooms were fantastic. AC was great and water pressure in shower, was too. They had everything you needed and didnt lack on the supplies. It was a memorable vacation that we will never forget. Thanks Curtis

We were here for my birthday! The owners were incredible! Very kind and gave us great options for restaurants and also a firework display. The condo was perfect. Amazing views. The kitchen had everything you need and everything worked well. The master bedroom had a great master bath with all amenities. But let me tell you about the master bedroom bed. The most comfortable bed ever!! If you have a rain day and have to stay indoors this is the place to stay. Don't forget to play some song on the guitar. When we come back we will definitely plan our trip to stay here. I cannot thank the owners enough for there hospitality!!

This is a beautiful place at the beach. We felt at home in this peaceful space. My friends and I loved that it was both far and close enough to everything. The rental itself was beautifully decorated and the kitchen has everything you need. This is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation!

The location of this place is ideal if you want to be close to the water & watch the sunset! We enjoyed the convenience of its location. This unit has the cutest decor. Communication with the host was great, very responsive. We are pretty easy going when it comes to traveling. Two things we would change is the pillows on the bed & having a solid curtain option in the bedroom. Overall a good visit & would stay again!

Great stay! Place was very clean and extremely well stocked. Light switches can be a little confusing but thank goodness for her labels. Front porch sitting was excellent for watching people and looking for alligators in the lake. We were there for a concert at GLA and the house is an easy 10 minute walk.

A wonderful place to stay in a great neighborhood. Kim was very accommodating with early check-in and brought extra beach towels for us during our stay.

The place and stay were fantastic. The kitchen had everything that we needed, which is what I was worried about. Would stay here again 100%!

This was our third stay with Tony and as always, the whole process was seamless and stress free. He made sure we had all of the instructions we needed for check in, using the property and check out. It’s especially nice to be able to bring our dog with us and have a nice fenced area to use. Our stay was wonderful as always and we’ll be back for Christmas vacation.

This place was as described. The area was quiet. Not far from eating places nor shopping areas.

What a great place!!! The view of the river was incredible from the living room, master and decks. Very nice neighborhood- we walked all around and it was safe and locals friendly. There are lots of games, books and DVD’s. Super cool place for family to hang out and be super comfortable and close to area attractions (with a car). Very well stocked with all your basics! Thanks for letting us stay!

This beautifully landscaped secluded getaway is exactly what we needed. The large pond, small walking paths around the property and large screened in porch are a perfect way to detach from the day-to-day. When we stayed in May, the temperatures were cooler and the heated pool made it so much better to enjoy. The kids loved exploring the arcade machines upstairs as well. Highly recommend staying here if it remotely piques your interest!

Audrey was super responsive and helpful. She was able to honor an early check in when I asked that morning. The instructions were helpful for check in, I just semi struggled following the steps in order. Location was amazing for a friends wedding at bakery 105 down the street. My husband was able to walk back and forth to drop things off and bring things to the bridal group as we were getting ready. It was a super walkable area and could find plenty of things to do!

Alex was a great host and we loved staying at his property. We were able to walk to several different places and even with how close the property is to downtown, it was still relatively quiet despite it being Memorial day weekend. The house was well stocked with food/supplies that we were allowed to use if we wanted to. Alex was also very generous and allowed us to check out pretty late since he didn’t have anyone staying the next day, which helped us maximize our stay. Would for sure book and stay with Alex again on my next visit to Wilmington.

Delaney was a great host and we would love to stay at her beautiful house again!!! You can’t beat the location and everything could not have gone better.

We really enjoyed our stay as we were looking for a place that was central to all of the activity and shopping, and boy did this fit the bill. Very clean and comfortable and our host Summer was incredibly responsive. We drove into the historic district, parked within 200 feet from the apartment with the pass provided, and did not have to drive again until we checked out to leave. This place is right in the sweet spot for everything going on there including all the dining and shopping.

Staying at this beautiful Airbnb overlooking the Cape Fear River was delightful! From the moment we booked, the communication was flawless—responsive, friendly, and the guidebook was incredibly helpful. Every question we may have had was answered. From the cozy, well-appointed decor to the thoughtful touches everything was clearly chosen with care and intention. You can tell the host genuinely wants guests to have the best possible experience. This Airbnb is the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and convenience. We’re already planning our next visit.

Hello, Everything was wonderful at 106 N Water Street, the condo was clean, comfortable, a great view of the river, very nice accommodations as well. The hosts were great on returning my text messages before the trip and all during our stay. I would definitely recommend this home for any length of stay in Wilmington.

Had a peaceful weekend getaway with my girlfriend here. It’s a beautiful home with a historic look and feel. Comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom, clean kitchen, private parking, nice colors, and a lot of natural light. It did everything we needed to and more. Special thanks to the hosts for reaching out and making sure everything was top notch, and replying quick to any questions or needs. Would stay here again.

So glad that we got to unplug from everything and really enjoy a weekend in Wilmington! Everything you need was on hand and absolutely perfect. Plenty of coffee to get us motivated, everything was spotless, and we really loved sitting out on the private porch. Highly recommend!!
