Monthly Rentals in River Lathkill

Lovely little place for a weekend stay in the Peak District. It is in a perfect location for exploring, with many places just a short drive away, as well as some lovely walks in the local area that you can do from the doorstep. The chalet has everything you need for a short stay, including delicious homemade bread and enough cooking equipment to make simple meals. I would highly recommend! (And if you like dogs, Ben the friendly golden retriever is lovely).

Just a delightful stay at Hallyard house. Wonderful floorplan, thoughtful touches and a fantastic kitchen made us all appreciate this lovely home. We were travelling to see family in the area but took full advantage of the great walks in Lathkill Dale and enjoyed a nice pint or two in the local pub. Such a great village to unplug from our busy lives. Very close to Bakewell for any groceries, Chatsworth house and Haddon Hall. We enjoyed cooking in but can also recommend dinner at Lovage and at the Ashford Arms, all within a 10 minute drive of the house. Great spot, would love to return the next time we are back in the Peak district.

Lovely accommodation in the lovely village of youlgreave. Ideal for people who like to walk and / or visit the area as you can start walks from the house. Friendly locals; a pub close by. What more to ask for?

A lovely, comfortable cottage in a beautiful village. The cottage is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Youlgreave is a beautiful village and there are fantastic walks from the doorstep. The surrounding countryside is stunning. Walking to Robin Hood's Stride, in the Spring sunshine, was a holiday highlight. Perfect!
