Vacation rentals with a hot tub in River Eden

The location is fantastic and there is another route if you dont fancy the very steep hill up to the property. There was enough space for all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool table and hot tub as the weather was intermittent!! There was a small issue with the heating which the hosts responded to immediately. A great central base for exploring.

A fabulous house - perfect for a family gathering. The children loved the hot tub, games room, secret bookcase door/room and the adults loved the gorgeous kitchen/dining area and the sauna. Such a lovely break!! 🙂

John was so kind to wait for us as we reached late. The place is great, soo many rooms and soo many things to do. Pool, jacuzzi, Sauna, baths, Fireplace, 2 kitchens.. would keep a day to just enjoy the house!. John is extremely helpful with recommendations and any help. We were 9 people and it was tremendous fun. We walked to stone circles at 8 pm and it was like walking in the clouds. Not enough words! If you are a group, this is the place to stay in Lake district. Would recommend it and would visit back! Thanks John!

Fantastic stay with dear friends in Ambleside. The house was beautiful, the beds were comfy, the hot tub was great, and it was only a two minute walk to the shops in Ambleside. Perfect weekend and we would all come back. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at Canny Brow Barn. Everything you could possible think of or need for your stay, Ian and Anne-Marie had thought about, from a cocktail shaker to cleaning products to games. Would highly recommend!

Tom was extremely accomodating. His communication was excellent. Clear instructions to get into the place. It was lovely and clean. The hot tub is fabulous and well worth adding on . The views from our windows were gorgeous and the place ia close to Hadrians wall walk and a roman ruin . Bed very comfortable. Amenities within walking distance. Highly recommended.

A Perfect Getaway! I stayed at this charming cottage and couldn’t be more pleased. The place was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfy beds. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the entire experience seamless. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat — I’ll definitely be coming.

The cottage was the perfect place for our weekend away! The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the garden was very spacious! We loved watching the neighbouring sheep in the sun room, and the hot tub was the perfect place to watch the pheasants and squirrels which visited the garden. The cottage was about an hours drive to the lakes, and the host was super friendly and recommended some lovely local walks and things to do in the village! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Just back from three nights and we had such a wonderful time. The property is in a great location with it being walking distance to bowness but also secluded. Kitchen amenities all great, excellent spec bathroom and very clean all round. We had a couple of questions which were answered very quickly. Highly recommend and we will be booking again.

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Jerry was super responsive and responded within minutes whenever we needed something, which was really appreciated (even around midnight 😅). The house is beautiful, very well furnished. Hot tub was a favourite and the river is incredibly scenic.

This is a wonderful house for a large family gathering or group holiday. Stunning views over Morecambe Bay. Every need has been anticipated. Great selection of games and activities for all age groups. Jim is very communicative and helpful. I would highly recommend it and hope to go back for a longer stay.

We loved this little lodge, the scenery was perfect. The kids loved going in the lake and feeding the ducks. A Perfect little holiday spot for what we needed, some peaceful relaxation. Best lodge location on the park!

We had a lovely stay at this charming little space! The setting was absolutely beautiful – peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing break. The pre-lit hot tub was a real highlight and made the evenings feel extra special, especially at sunset and for star gazing! Our host was great and responsive, even recommending a fantastic local restaurant that ended up being located just down the road. Would recommend for anyone looking to unwind in nature with a touch of comfort.

Brilliant stay! Accommodation was perfect, pristine, had everything you need. The hot tub was amazing, lots of games and books available to use. The prosecco and chocolate provided on arrival was a nice touch :) Modern tech was great! Was able to login to our Netflix, prime etc. blue tooth speakers were fab too! Mark was very welcoming, informative and responsive! Leisure centre was good - kids loved the pool! Even had a dip in the lake and played in the sand. Pub food was excellent but doesn’t serve food everyday, so check and book! We would love to come again!!

Amazing, loved every second. Loved seeing the red squirrels and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The hot tub was easy to use and relaxing. The woods and surroundings area was beautiful. We couldn’t recommend this place more.

It was an absolute pleasure to spend 3 nights at Huntercrook Lodge. The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful lodge or to the stunning views. The location is excellent with plenty of walks available. The lodge is very well-equipped, impeccably clean and is just so comfortable. The small touches are all there and we were very grateful for the welcome basket, homemade cake and bottle of prosecco. We loved sitting on the veranda or in the hot tub with some drinks taking in the views. We enjoyed walks to Twice Brewed, Hadrian's Wall and Sycamore Gap but spent most of our time enjoying the lodge. Julia and Robin are excellent hosts and I can't recommend a stay at Huntercrook highly enough. I look forward to returning in the future!

Myself and my partner stayed for one night - Alan gave great instructions on how to find it and we felt very comfortable and happy with our stay! The hot tub was lovely and hot when we arrived and the whole experience was peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely visit again :)

We stayed at Kate’s cabin for two nights and it was lush. We wanted to escape from our normal lives and the five acres of gorgeous land helped us do just that. The sounds of nature were beautiful to wake up to in the morning and the hot tub was amazing for some night time gazing (no stars for us unfortunately). We had one day where it was blazing sunshine and sitting out on the chairs on the porch was so serene. It had more than you need in terms of facilities and amenities, kate you really have thought of just about everything. Everything about our stay was lovely and we can’t wait to come back!
