Cute property, clean, no direct access to the hot tub area but it is just across the driveway and is very secluded so wasn't a problem. Downstairs rooms slightly damp feel but then again it is a very old building so didn't bother us much. Very well connected to Bath and Bristol.

Jamie & Dan are very fortunate to have this beautiful property. It is the ideal country location for escaping away and distancing yourself from our increasingly busy lives. The gardens around the property are stunning, the views are incredible and the local area is amazing to explore on foot, bike or by car. We had an amazing stay and would happily return, and have already started to recommend to friends & family

The Lodge - Cosy cottage & Hot tub nr Bristol city

ShalayneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Charming and quaint - a great place for families to stay near the Cotswolds. We had a few hiccups on our trip due to things out of our control but the host was super kind and did what she could to make it a great experience for us. The cottage is well kept and has good spaces (bathroom was nice and updated as well as the kitchen) and the bedrooms worked great to fit our family. All in all, I'd recommend a stay here!

The Hidey Hole is a beautifully decorated cottage in a great location. It's just a stones throw away from the high street but being tucked away in a courtyard it felt peaceful away from the hustle and bustle. The place was very clean and tidy and had all the amenities you could wish for and more. Jo was a friendly host, easy to communicate with, giving great directions and other tips. Great communication from Emma beforehand, good suggestions of what to do or visit, directions to property and how to get in. The property was well appointed and beautifully clean, big and spacious. Emma had thought of everything,. There were clear instructions on the hall table about the house, bins, where to find things etc. The bathroom was large with a super shower it was hot with great pressure. There were lots of towels and lots of hanging space, bed and pillows were really comfortable. The kitchen was large , spacious and well equipped, the lounge was comfortable and the TV had access to netflicks etc. We enjoyed our stay, in this beautiful quiet location which was within easy reach of both Bath and Bristol along with many other tourist spots. We would highly recommend the property and Emma

Julia’s cottage was wonderful for our family’s stay. We had 3 adults, ons child and a baby in the crib. It was a little tight with all of us but the place was very comfortable and well equipped for our stay. The area is lovely and my girls enjoyed wandering around visiting the farm animals. Julia provided helpful instructions and everything was easy and smooth. Would definitely recommend especially for a family of 3 or 4.
