Jorun has had many guests in her house on Sommaroy. Like all guests before us, I can only confirm from the heart what a great hostess Jorun is and how comfortable we felt in her house from beginning to end!!!!! Even when arriving, the weather was anything but smooth, she was there for us with help and advice, thank you very much for that;) We will definitely come back again, on the one hand to enjoy Jorun's hospitality again and on the other hand to get a second chance to see the aurora lights, which unfortunately was not the case this time. Our stay at Line's and Kim's place was fantastic. The Airbnb is a little house overlooking the Skjulsford and is prefect for exploring the area. All things that you will need are there. The surroundings are beautiful and peacefull. Really made our trip to Norway something to remember!

We had a fantastic time here! The cabin was gorgeous and perfect location for exploring ! With some lovely hikes right on the doorstep! There was everything you needed in the cabin, and the sauna was a big bonus, it got used most days! You do need a car as there isn't anything local, which was perfect for us, as we wanted a peaceful, relaxing holiday! Would highly recommend and already planning on coming back one day! Lovely cozy old small cottage house, immediately felt like home <3 A little squank so vertigo on the first evening but it passed the next day. Went for daily morning swims in the sea, baked bread and skiid mountains. Perfect peaceful location on Kvaloya. Especially lovely snd functional kitchen, even had a smoothie blender and beautiful bowls. The road to the house tends to be undrivable if it snows and slushes but it worked great to arrange snow clearing directly with Siv’s brother Gaute who lives nearby (because if you park near the main road, then nobody can clear the snow). Ha det bra och tusen tack för allt!

Kent’s place is outstanding. It is exactly like the pictures. Amazing water view, easy to find, comfortable bed and great host! Kent was easy to communicate with and was there to show us how to use the Airbnb. The is even a beautiful fire pit with seating. His place has everything you need! Highly recommend staying there!!

The house has a beautiful location, and we were able to to see the northern lights right from the deck, overall a great stay

The cottage of Jeremias and Mariella is beautifully located and very lovingly furnished. We really enjoyed our time with them and would go back to this place at any time. They are also very helpful, occasionally inquiring about well-being, made us tour suggestions adapted to the conditions and weather. Thank you both very much...

The house is a super nice place to stay for a few days with a beautiful view(!!!) and all the luxury you need. Ørjan explained everything clearly and easily through a manual. If we ever go back to Tromsø, this house will be high on the list to stay again.

Amazing house surrounded by the most beautiful Norwegian nature. Inside you can find everything you need, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room. In the bed room you can rest as much as you can. It is really nice location to start your Senja journey. Highly recommended!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The view from the house to the fjord is fantastic! The house is very nice and cozy. The sauna is also very nice and also offers a beautiful view of the fjord. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Exceptional. A home from home feeling. Absolutely the place to recharge yourself. Put the fire on, get your book out, and enjoy the wonderful view of the sea and mountains. Go to bed, open the window, feel the fresh cold sea breeze flow through the room and fall asleep with the waves hitting the rocks. No need counting sheep, your gone ZZzzz. Communication was excellent, instructions clear and super warm upon arrival. Everything you could ask for in the home. We have stayed in many places, and many have left you wishing you had packed something! NOT HERE. The small details that make you feel you have chosen the right home are important. I had my reservations over jacuzzi, but this one was perfect. Super-hot with great sea view of the mountains. Getting here was relaxed, the views are spectacular, and the roads are cleared. This house offers an extraordinary view of the sea and the Northern Lights on the beautiful island of Sommarøy. The decor is impeccable, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere, especially with the warm fireplace that adds to the charm. The house is fully equipped with everything needed for a wonderful stay, and it is conveniently located close to Tromsø and the ferry to Senja. Runne was an excellent host, always attentive and even gave us Northern Lights alerts, which made our experience even more special. A perfect choice for anyone visiting Sommarøy!

Exactly as described and rated by all the other reviews. Absolutely beautiful location! Watched the Aurora from the hot tub! Host is wonderful and very responsive to messages and questions. Provided excellent recommendations and information. Cannot recommend enough and we would love to come back sometime in the summer!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this lovely home. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so welcoming and comfortable—it really felt like a home away from home. The host and his wife were incredibly kind and thoughtful. We especially enjoyed our chats with the hostess, who gave us a great introduction to the area, including local attractions and some amazing food recommendations. She suggested we try the local salmon, which turned out to be absolutely delicious! The room itself was beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches. We were especially impressed by the large balcony with its stunning night view—it was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. One detail that really touched us was the first aid kit in the room, which came in handy during our stay and truly saved the day. The kitchen was another highlight—it was very clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for cooking, which made our stay even more comfortable.

Our stay with Odd-Geir was truly fantastic! The house was cozy and made us feel like we were right in the heart of the Arctic. We enjoyed the grill house and the sauna—both added a special touch to our experience. Odd-Geir lent us his car during our stay, which was incredibly helpful. One of the highlights was going fishing with him on his boat—an unforgettable adventure! He’s a genuine host who absolutely enhanced our experience in Tromvik. Highly recommended!

We had an incredible stay here in Tromso. The location is amazing with stunning scenery in every direction. We were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful walking path along the ocean just steps from the Airbnb. Bjorn was very response, answering all of our questions and providing local recommendations. The apartment was super clean, cozy and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.

We had an amazing stay! The location is perfect for spotting the Northern Lights, with breathtaking views if the sea and mountains all around. The place is cozy, peaceful, and a great base for exploring the area. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

The space is amazing. The apartment is on the 8th floor and is built out into the sea. There is a stunning view from the balcony and living room. Requests were always answered very quickly. The documents to find the accommodation, as well as the description where the PP and apartment key is were great. The apartment was 100% in line with our expectations. Our son is wheelchair user, the apartment is highly recommended for wheelchair users We would like to thank you very much for letting us stay at this great place.

Short walk to shops and restaurants (much better and shorter than it looks on the map) but still nice and private on waterfront. Cable car/cathedral bus stop not too far away. Amazing balconies and beautiful views (was snowing most of the time we were there but could still see faint glow of Northern Lights from the hot tub)! Great kitchen - plenty of plates/utensils/glasses/etc. Lots of dining space, couches, TVs, etc. Bedrooms a little small, but typical for Europe and beds were very comfy and warm. Our 4 year old loved the deep jacuzzi bath. Washer and dryer in the bathroom - which was amazing as it meant we could pack light and do laundry every few days. Appreciated the disposable slippers! Everything easy to find, really good instructions for everything (except maybe ovens but I'm sure if we had messaged Elisabet she would have helped immediately, we didn't really need to use them so didn't bother). Everything was super clean. Really enjoyed our stay!

The views!!!!! We booked this Airbnb for the views. They are even better in person! The condo is new and clean. It's a 2-minute walk to two grocery stores. When we arrived, it was a bit warm in the condo, we opened the windows and got the views and sounds. It's easy to walk to the street to catch the bus into town. We did it multiple times during our two-night stay.

A very beautiful home in a beautiful setting, and a host available very quickly. Amazing experience.
