Dåfjord Lodge & Ocean sauna

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

Spectacular new build house (2018) in a lovely, quiet area with a beautiful view to the fjord/sea, mountains and forest in Kvaløya /Tromsø. You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

Kvaløya Lodge, Quiet place by the seaside

Kvaløya Lodge is about 18km (10 miles) from Tromsø Airport - a 20 minute drive on average and is the perfect place for relaxing in quiet surroundings with beautiful views of the fjord and mountains across the fjord. Because there is very little light pollution, the area is a fantastic place to see the Northern Lights (except during the summer months). Kvaløya Lodge is situated on a hillside about 60 metres up from the main road and has been totally renovated recently (end of 2018).

You can just wait in livingroom for the Aurora 💚😊 In summer you can enjoy fishing and walking on the beach here. House location is next to main road E8, easy to travel to another city, easy access and a bus stop also right in front here. 😊

Du kan se noen av fjellene i Lyngen Alps fra huset. Her nyter du stillhet, avslapping, midnattssol på sommeren og nordlys og arktisk flott himmel på vintertid. 10 minutters kjøretur fra flyplassen og 20 minutter i bil fra huset til Tromsø Sentrum. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. The apartment is spacious and has an amazing view. You have a 180 degrees view over Tromsø and its surroundings. You can see mountains, the fjord, the Arctic cathedral, the cable car and the mountains surroundings it..The Northern lights can easily be seen from the balconies if it is out dancing for us. The apartment is within town center with its many attractions, restaurants, galleries, cafes, museums and shops. A short walk to everything.
