Graca’s apartment is conveniently located and a great base to explore the island. Her apartment is very well maintained, spacious, clean, modern, close to town, and ample parking. Most importantly Garça is a great host! She was flexible, extremely responsive and shared great local recommendations. I would highly recommend her place to anyone visiting the island!

We’re a multi generational family of seven, really enjoyed our stay in Ribeira Grande. The home is an easy walk to the beach and is well located for getting in and out of the city. It’s close to a grocery store to either walk or drive to. Upon our arrival after an overnight flight it was wonderful to have milk, bread, wine etc there waiting for us. Having three bathrooms was very handy, especially when traveling with children. The enclosed back yard was great for the safety and privacy. We made use of the picnic table for several meals. Just want to mention that two of the four bedrooms really aren’t appropriate for very young children as the loft room is open concept overlooking the entryway and a small child could squeeze through the railings. The fourth bedroom has no door, just curtains that don’t quite provide the privacy that some guests might prefer. We made it all work for us though, just want to point this out to other potential guests. We appreciated a bit later check out

This perfectly placed Airbnb offers a truly unique experience, especially if you happen to catch some dramatic coastal weather! We had a front-row seat to incredible 15-foot waves, strong winds, and pelting rain, all while staying toasty and peaceful inside thanks to a fantastic picture window. It was mesmerizing to watch. As a bonus, when the weather finally broke on our last day, we were treated to beautiful rainbows and even saw whales! Pro Tip: When the sun does shine, definitely venture out! The neighborhood has a local market and a few restaurants where you can savor the fresh ocean bounty. This location is ideal for both cozy storm-watching and I am sure enjoys the coastal summer charm when the weather is fair.
