Ffynnonau Annex, less than a mile from Brecon

PaulRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Laura's annex was comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. It was in a peaceful location that was walking distance from Brecon, where there were local shops and good places to eat. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Hop In Beer & Gin in town and also at Hills which was a very short walk up the road in the other direction. The annex is ideally located for walking, with many major Brecon Beacon walks within easy driving distance. The annex itself is cosy and perfect for a couple. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Annex is attached to a private house but you have a separate entrance and we always felt that privacy was maintained. The location itself is very quite and while the entrance is on a main road (which means it is easy to find), the building is down a driveway, well away from any traffic noise. Overall we really enjoyed our 3 days at the annex. Thank you for having us!

Lovely getaway from the business of city, nestled in the heart of Breacon Beacons. Perfect both as a place to relax in peaceful quiet surroundings, and also for easy access to hikes in absence of a car (we did Penn Y damn, and bus going to Brecon stops right in front of the house). Hosts are also both wonderful and considerate, provide all amenities you can expect

We had a lovely stay over the Easter weekend. The annex was cosy and homely. Liz provided everything you could imagine, the kitchen was particularly well stocked. Also an added bonus was the small touches Liz provided throughout our stay with small gifts and sweet treats which was very generous of her.

Llanharan House Grade II* East Wing Suite

FinolaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Me, my mum, aunty and my beloved Irish setter Radja 🐕‍🦺 stayed the weekend over in March. I was running that Saturday 22nd the Ultra Cani-trail in Llanharan. We were very welcomed by Nic! Location wise: perfect! close by grocery stores, petrol station, the event and yet so private. We had our own parking spot, public walk just around the property to walk the dog. Loads of space inside, the Aga stove was a nice experience. The bathtub was amazing! Especially after a long run. The beds were very comfortable and warm too. Overall a great experience and would love to come back!

Eleri was very gracious as we arrived a lot later than anticipated, and kindly showed us through her lovely airbnb. It is fully equipped and exactly as described and having a private and fully enclosed garden was perfect as we had our 2 schnauzerkids with us. Her home is spotless and the area is really lovely with walking access to the beach through the nature reserve located opposite her home. Golf courses all over and a great base from where to go out and explore the South Wales coast. Highly recommended. Thanks Eleri. We left early this morning so didn't want to bother you. Thank you for all the extra touches especially the Welsh Cakes and the cookies. Wishing you a Blessed Easter. Warm regards Catherine

Adorable apartment with patio area & free parking

JamesRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Loula's apartment. She got in touch with us ahead of the time to give clear instructions, and the apartment was easy to find and very welcoming. It was a perfect base for our weekend in Wales, a very easy walk into Abergavenny (which we explored on our first day), and within driving distance of Cardiff (where we spent our second day). We used the kitchen to cook up some lovely meals from local produce we picked up in Abergavenny, and found everything we needed there. We would happily return in the future.
