Chapel - Wye Valley/Forest of Dean (3B)

The Chapel was perfect for our needs whilst staying in the Wye Valley. Valerie and John are great hosts, all communication was clear and easy to follow. We received a lovely warm reception from Valerie on our check in. The house is very well appointed, particularly equipment for a 3 year old who was with us. Redbrook village is in a great position for accessing the beautiful surrounding area of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. The property is very comfortable and homely, with plenty of space. thank you John and Valerie

Wonderful stay - would highly recommend. I had a fantastic time staying here. The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Self contained guest suite in historic village

VictoriaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Louisa and John are excellent hosts and made me feel right at home. I was spending the week walking the Wales Coast Path and they gave me tips for where to go and what to see. I felt comfortable and at ease and would recommend this as a great central location for anyone walking the North Wales section of the path. Really close to main transport routes yet really quite and peaceful. The detailed description means it's straightforward to find. If I'm ever in need of somewhere to stay in this part of Wales, I'll be straight back.

The accommodation is well situated close to Cheshire Oaks and the Colosseum, along with Chester Zoo and the Blue Planet Aquarium, so serves as a fantastic base for exploring... although you could quite easily spend your time relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying some rest and relaxation. Angela’s was the perfect little haven for a romantic weekend away. They were so welcoming and accommodating, letting us pick salad and herbs from the garden for our bbq dinner and even sending us on our way at the end of our stay with a massive bag of home grown salad 💚 We used the house as a base to go surfing both days and it was wonderful to come back to such a beautiful space. Thankyou ☺️

The Sunday School - Converted Chapel Vestry

LucyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful time at Sarah’s, her place is so gorgeous and cosy. She was such a great host - putting out fresh flowers for us (which smelt lovely), setting up the fireplace for us and leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge for us. The house had everything we needed including sandwich bags and spare Tupperware, she thought of everything! We also really enjoyed chilling outside in the sun on the little private patio. Would 100% recommend!! Thank you sarah for making it such a lovely holiday!

Eleri was very gracious as we arrived a lot later than anticipated, and kindly showed us through her lovely airbnb. It is fully equipped and exactly as described and having a private and fully enclosed garden was perfect as we had our 2 schnauzerkids with us. Her home is spotless and the area is really lovely with walking access to the beach through the nature reserve located opposite her home. Golf courses all over and a great base from where to go out and explore the South Wales coast. Highly recommended. Thanks Eleri. We left early this morning so didn't want to bother you. Thank you for all the extra touches especially the Welsh Cakes and the cookies. Wishing you a Blessed Easter. Warm regards Catherine

Private suite in garden setting in National Park

CherylRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I enjoyed my 13 night stay at Glanafon and felt at home from the get go. I enjoyed walking to the beach at Aber Bach Dinas, visiting Pwll Gwaelod, (The Sailors Safety is worth a visit), Cwm yr Eglyws and Newport. The accommodation is clean, the contemporary kitchen and shower room are compact and well equipped. The only downsize is very little storage for clothes for the longer stay. I would definately book again.

Everything about this place is perfect. Its like a home away from home. Lesley has been so thoughtful in decorating the place to cater to all needs of her guests. It is one of the best abnb we have stayed in so far. Lesley was easy to contact and she has been very kind in helping us on the day of our checkout when we ran into a little emergency and we couldnt be more grateful for that. We will definitely be back here next time for another stay if given the chance.

Fantastic place to stay. Stunning location with a lovely beach and lots of nice walks close by. Close to popular Abersoch but preferred staying here as not as busy and still lots of places for food and lovely views. Private accommodation with easy check in and check out. It was nicer inside than the photos looked. Excellent amenities including kitchen and lots of nice extra touches to make us feel very much at home. Secure bike storage was a bonus. Would highly recommend.
