Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Rhön-Grabfeld

A nice house in the middle of the greenery! We rented the lower part of the house. The cottage contains everything someone needs, is spacious and clean. The kitchen is very extensive, from toaster to a food processor. The owner is very attentive, communicative and made for a warm welcome with nice surprises. We enjoyed that! We followed the tips on what to do in the area and that was very nice. Extra recommended is to go to Rothenburg ob der Tauer (+- 50 min drive). The home is located in a quiet area with trees. Every now and then, a squirrel comes to visit. We used the baby cot. Our baby (3 months old) was able to sleep well in it (maybe unnecessary to mention, but of course bring your own sleeping bag/bedding). Games (Rummikub, 4 in a row) are provided in the house. Also great: we went by electric car and were able to charge in the garage.

Very lovely place which was a fantastic value. A few things did not match the listing but ultimately it was a great place for my family to spend a night.

Just as AirBnb was originally intended. The apartment is large and nicely decorated. I felt right at home. The amenities are great, very high quality and generous, everything you are allowed to use.

Spacious, quiet apartment in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Thuringian Forest. Several hiking trails start in front of the door. Sunny southern slope location. The small garden and the possibilities to linger on site very pleasant. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything necessary. In the foyer there is extensive information about activities of all kinds. The contact with our hosts was pleasant and straightforward. The request for an earlier check in was answered positively. Thanks for that!

The apartment is very centrally located, but still is quiet. Shops, restaurants and sights are within walking distance. The front windows facing the street or sidewalk have sufficient privacy screens and can also be darkened with blinds. The amenities are good, it has everything you need as a family.

The friendly nature and courtesy of Leon made you feel immediately welcome. Communication and check in went smoothly. The apartment was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Although there were still a few small things missing in the kitchen, as well as pot, pan, rinse tablets, sponge, tea towel and a coffee maker. But since the apartment is quite new, you can always forget a few small things at the beginning. However, Leon made a note of everything on departure and so I think that the next time we come that nothing is missing. Due to the garage space and the good location, you could reach every place quickly. I can recommend both the apartment and the host Leon without hesitation. 🍀

As special as the accommodation rooms are, so special is the whole house and the hosts. If you are looking for a fun-loving colorful and lively accommodation beyond the mainstream, this is the place to be. In addition, you can enjoy the idyllic, village location, especially if you want to get out of the big city hustle and bustle. It is important to know that depending on the room, you are very close to family life. For me, it was the first experience of this kind and I am very satisfied. Very clean and spacing appartment with friendly receipt. Hopfully we come back in 2 years.

We stayed at the property with 6 adults, 2 kindergarten children and 2 infants for a few days. The place was a great fit for our needs, amenities were great. A second bathroom would have been comfortable for so many people. You can do a lot of things in the area. Otto was always approachable, and also gave us tips. The Umgag was straightforward. We all felt very comfortable!

I really had a great stay. Hendrik and Dominik are communicative and very friendly, enjoyed the stay there in a relaxed and nice atmosphere.  Communication and rooms are top.  Quiet neighborhood and nearby. Highly recommended :D

This is really great place to stay - you would not say so seeing the property from outside - but it is really superb. In the middle of historical part of city, restaurants literally few steps, but as well like 50m from river bank with long promenade / cycling path and what surprised me - really close to town center, but still super quiet at night. Inside, the house is very modern and loads of equipment - we enjoyed the pool, wellness area, multiple outdoor sitting spaces and great living room with kitchen. Heiko is very welcomming and was a great host.... when I will have the possibility, I will book again for sure.

Our girls trip took us here this time. For 5 people, the accommodation is more than sufficient. The cottage is very cozy and well equipped. You can experience a lot in the house (sauna, table tennis, darts) or explore the area on foot from there. If you like it quiet, this is the place to be. The adjacent falconry is also a small highlight. All in all, we felt very well looked after and taken care of. HAPPY TO COME BACK!! :)

Really a great apartment or house where you feel right at home. Very modern and great color concept. I particularly liked the wooden floor. Beautifully quiet location and lots of information for the stay. Very nice host Christian was always available… We will be back!
