Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis

Unfortunately, we only had a short weekend available. At the next time, we would like to schedule more days to explore the area even more intensively. So we enjoyed the peace and coziness of the house and were very happy to enjoy a break for two here. The kitchen equipement was well sorted and we lacked nothing in convenience.

We enjoyed it very much, the hosts are very nice and straightforward. The amenities were great, especially in the kitchen. We had plenty of room to cook and eat together... not so easy for 11. It would be nice if there might be a table tennis table or a trampoline in the garden. You can make beautiful hikes in the area. Unfortunately, we only had one weekend. We can definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful home in a super nice place. Quiet and lots of privacy. Everything we needed was present. The beds lay nicely. The bathroom and toilet were excellent. Close to a beautiful hiking area, small towns and Cologne is quickly accessible! In short: a great place to get away for a while!

It was quite easy to find, the host was very kind and met us around 20:30. The place itself was spotless clean and had everything that was listed. Additionally, the kitchen, bathroom and sauna were pristine cleaned. The glass in the bathroom was so clean for a moment we thought that were was no glass. Sauna was excellent and we even started a nice little fire one day. Very peaceful with allot of opportunity for hiking and nature. And very easy connection to Dusseldorf via the train with free parking at the train station in the small town. Would go back again without a doubt.

Check-in and checkout were straightforward, a lot of energy was put into the decor of the accommodation, and you can tell. 👍

Green, private, hiking, quiet, beautiful balcony, perfect for our dog! Had a really relaxing couple of nights away from the city.

I had such a lovely time, the area was quiet and the appartement was awesome! I had some well needed relaxing days, greeted by some happy Alpaca's 😉. Thomas and Claudia were very kind. I will definitely come back another time.

We were there for a little rest trip and did surrounding beautiful hiking tours. Achim and Rita had suitable recommendations for this. It was a very pleasant communication. The place was very well equipped as shown in the pictures and impeccably clean. We took full advantage of the sauna and fireplace. The garden is also very comfortable. Absolutely recommend!

Apartment located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. There were three of us and we felt comfortable the two nights in the apartment. Communication with the landlords was very nice and helpful. We will be happy to come back

Just great. Communication was great from booking to departure, straightforward and fast. The connection to Cologne was straightforward. Frank and his wife were very nice. Should we visit this area again, we would check in again at any time.

A very nice and more than well equipped apartment - it had everything we could have asked for and more! Everything is very well thought through, with a feeling of both luxury and kindness. We came here for the Holidays, but if you are travelling for work this apartment is perfect. The home office is perfect for every need and we really appreciated the yoga area. The kitchen makes it possible to cook all the food you need and both restaurants and stores are nearby. The train station is just 10 minutes away and the travel to central Wuppertal is short.

Klaus and Angelika welcomed us in a very kind and pleasant way! It's like you “get home.” Even the bicycle accommodation was exceptional. Very attentive and helpful. We really liked the place and the hosts.

Beautiful house and super furnished, kitchen has everything for cooking, enough blankets and pillows, games, books. Were 16 people and despite bad weather and a lot of time in the house there was enough room for everyone :) Fast very nice communication with Lilia!

We spent one night after a long drive, I can tell you that finding the house super clean is a real luxury! Everything was great, easy to access, spacious, very comfortable bedding, a 10/10. I'll go back if I stay in Germany again. Thank you! There may be a small armchair missing on the ground floor to put us all together 😄 See you soon!

This was an incredible stay for us. From the time we got their until the time we left we were greeted most graciously and given a short tour of the Villa. Evelyn was very accommodating and pleasant to speak with. I'd recommend this Countryside get-away to all looking for a break from the City. 10/10 Cant wait to book another stay.

For our JGA we booked this place for one night. We were 13 people, room was more than enough for everyone. Rooms were all clean, there were plenty of towels for everyone. About the location: as already described in some reviews before me, the house is located in a residential area and is a semi-detached house. Therefore, it should also be noted that you cannot/should not make noise until the end of the day. We talked to the neighbors before and were still partying around 11:30 pm. Until then, no one complained about the volume and we were certainly not quiet on the road. The garden is nice and large, the hot tub well maintained. The house itself is also in good condition, the bathrooms in the rooms are "newly" renovated. Check in / check out went smoothly, the hosts are very nice. All in all we had a great time and with the house the perfect accommodation for the JGA, thank you.

The place is very spacious, perfect for a large group. It is almost like renting a small motel with 8 bedrooms, each with private bathroom. Professional kitchen with fast heating oven and quick dish washing machine helps also preparing food for large group of people. The host is very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend this place.

Located on the edge of the forest, with a large lounge with a fireplace and views of ponds, meadows and forest, the Forest Lodge was an ideal place for us - 5 people with a dog - an ideal place for a reunion over the turn of the year. A nice place for a few days in quiet surroundings that invites you to walks, chats by the fireplace, reading at one of the large windows, cooking and eating together. Sincere thanks for the well thought out hospitality!

The place was perfect and the hostess very friendly. The entire region completes the accommodation and we had a very good time. I'm happy to book this place again!

Stayed here with my company colleagues for Gamescom convention and it was spectacular. The house is beautiful and modern while retaining the charm of the German countryside. Easily accessible walking paths to the town and forest made this idea for us as we didn’t have a car.
