Family-friendly vacation rentals in Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis

For our JGA we booked this place for one night. We were 13 people, room was more than enough for everyone. Rooms were all clean, there were plenty of towels for everyone. About the location: as already described in some reviews before me, the house is located in a residential area and is a semi-detached house. Therefore, it should also be noted that you cannot/should not make noise until the end of the day. We talked to the neighbors before and were still partying around 11:30 pm. Until then, no one complained about the volume and we were certainly not quiet on the road. The garden is nice and large, the hot tub well maintained. The house itself is also in good condition, the bathrooms in the rooms are "newly" renovated. Check in / check out went smoothly, the hosts are very nice. All in all we had a great time and with the house the perfect accommodation for the JGA, thank you.

My wife and I had a wonderful relaxing weekend. There are great opportunities for activities in the area. We will be happy to come back.

Jürgen was very helpful and very eager to give us a nice time. The property is great for groups and offers a lot. A lot of special features of the amenities make for a good stay.

The space is even better than the photos show. The amenities leave nothing to be desired. The hot tub and sauna complete the luxury feeling perfectly. The wifi once didn't work properly, but thimo found a solution within 10 minutes. You cannot respond better and faster. Highly recommended! For us it will not have been the last time. Best regards,

Absolutely lovely apartment in a gorgeous location. Anja's family are lovely and made us feel very welcome. The apartment itself is at the top of a steep road - walkable, but it's a shock to the system the first time - and Overath is a pleasant journey by rail or bus to Cologne, Bonn and the rest of the local area. It's very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen is small but very well-appointed. We had a wonderful.time.

Overall, we had a great relaxing stay with Andre. The location is nice and quiet (almost a bungalow at the end of the dirt road). The height difference/stairs is still much higher than you can see in the photos, but everything is well lit. Unfortunately, not everything was shielded from view (March), but in the summer when it is fully planted, it is certainly a wonderful oasis of calm. The pool had a little too much chlorine, but it was very clean and sanitized. The sauna is also recommended (a separate infusion is not desired). All in all, a nice relaxing stay.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this exceptional Airbnb place! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The warm welcome and the uncomplicated check-in and check-out made us feel immediately comfortable. The cleanliness was impeccable, which was especially important for us as allergy sufferers. We had no problems with dust or other allergens, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The wellness area was an absolute highlight! Sauna, steam sauna and hot tub offered pure relaxation and recreation. The gaming area with the big screen was a dream for every gamer and ensured a lot of fun. The terrace area also invited you to linger and offered a nice opportunity to unwind. Special praise goes to the dog-friendliness of the accommodation. Our four-legged friend was pampered with his own ball pit. It's great to see that the needs of pets are also being considered.

2nd stay at Gilla's, really perfect like the first time. I recommend it!

We were travelling back from Finland to the UK with our 2 dogs and needed somewhere to stay for our last night. Ideally we would be able to self cater and give our dogs a good long walk. After explaining the situation to Fridolin, he invited us to book. We arrived late afternoon, check in was easy and the annexe was just perfect for our needs😁It had a very homely feel and some very nice touches as well. Using the directions given, we gave our dogs a much needed long walk in the countryside right from the front door in the evening sunshine😎🐾🐾 With big name supermarkets nearby we were able to get our supplies for dinner and breakfast👍🏻 We slept like logs on a super comfy bed, the house is in a dead end road so was very peaceful. After another long walk, we left feeling like we had found a little gem and wishing we could have stayed another night. We would not hesitate to stay again should we be passing by and happily recommend to others.

She was a great host.. very friendly, responsive and great to communicate with.. And her home was so quiet, serene and a place worth spending time indoors ..it looked more beautiful and spacious than pictures. will definitely come again

Great stay! Adrian was incredibly responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. Communication was excellent, and he was always quick to help with any questions. Highly recommend!

Check-in and checkout were straightforward, a lot of energy was put into the decor of the accommodation, and you can tell. 👍

We had such a lovely time at Peter and Anne’s place! The apartment was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully prepared—perfect for both relaxing and working remotely. We were three people, and each of us had a comfortable bed to sleep in. We worked from the apartment during the day and spent our free time exploring the beautiful area on foot. We recommend car travel, but the bus station is just across the street. Everything was within walking distance, and the neighborhood had such a peaceful and charming vibe—and ducks! Anne was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. On our first day — which happened to be the start of the Cologne Carnival — Peter and Anne even picked us up from the train station. We weren’t prepared for the crowds and are genuinely thankful for their help. We highly recommend staying here if you plan to travel around this area. Thank you again for being such kind and welcoming hosts — we enjoyed our stay

The apartment was perfect for 4xÜ. Clean and equipped with everything you need. In the area, there are several beautiful hiking trails, very good for dog owners. I felt very comfortable Supermarket, bakery, pizzeria, all within walking distance. If I'm looking for something in the area again, I'd love to be back here :)

From our point of view, 5 stars. Umut was very friendly all the time and answered questions very quickly. The apartment was clean, generously sized, and fully equipped. The situation is quiet and very pleasant. Larger cities can be reached quickly. If we are around again we would book the apartment again. I am thrilled. Arrival was great and I was immediately warmly welcomed. Both are super sweet and the location really nice. I had a lot of time to write in peace and could always contact Thomas and his wife. There was even a folder where all the important information and shops were listed nearby - with about the duration of the footpath. Just great! Always happy to come back.

We loved our stay in Nideggen with Ursula incredibly. The location is perfect to discover the Eifel National Park and visit cities like Bonn or Aachen. In warm weather you can enjoy a blissful swimming pool in a beautiful lively garden overlooking the castle of Nideggen. As if that wasn't enough, Ursula spoiled us even more with great perks and tips. We will never forget this stay!

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

Everythinng worked fine for a two - month stay.. Fully equipped both in kitchen and furniture - wise. Nice and safe neighbourhood. Elena was easy to get hold of .

The place was perfect and the hostess very friendly. The entire region completes the accommodation and we had a very good time. I'm happy to book this place again!
