Amazing little cottage, that we really enjoyed to stay in for 6 days. Saw amazing northern light and had peace and quiet just like We wanted. Close to all the stuff We value and love about Iceland: Golden Circle, horses, nature and the sea 😍😍😍 Friða ís always responsive in case of questions and that was amazing ❤️❤️

What a beautiful, picturesque piece of heaven! Hosts were lovely, responsive and flexible to our tardy exit due to wrangling our toddler twins! Thank you for a delightful memory - we will be back!

Probably the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Beautiful surroundings and a well equipped home.

Charming lovely cottage just outside Selfoss. Great place for some quiet peace & to (hopefully) see the Northern Lights. The cottage is very well-stocked with amenities for leisure and cooking.

We were great! We could see auroras because also being in the middle of the countryside when the skies are clear you look the stars super well! Christiane is super maja in addition, we had a problem leaving that the car stayed with half of the wheels in the ditch and we told him to ask for help and gave me the phone of a Selfoss trailer truck! Super nice, responds immediately and the cabin is perfect!

We so enjoyed our stay here. It was incredible to wake up and look out the window to be surrounded by mountains. Could not have asked for a better place to spend the majority of our trip.

Beautiful views, clean, super functional, a great stop midway between Golden circle and Höfn.

It's our third trip to Iceland and this is our favourite Airbnb so far. The surroundings is beautiful and quiet. The house itself is wonderful, comfortable and very clean. The hosts have really put in a lot of thought and effort to ensure that we have a great experience and want for nothing. Highly recommended!

What a cute converted shipping container tiny home community. There is access to free washers and dryers and free area where guests leave food and other items they no longer need. It felt like a community even for the one night we stayed. Even the fold out bed was really comfortable! Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay… especially the geothermal pools which are just a quick drive uphill. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and just as described.

This little cabin was absolutely gorgeous and perfect. The location was amazing, secluded and with beautiful views. Northern lights visible at night from the cabin! The cabin is very cozy and stylish. The host was very kind and responsive and sweet. We really enjoyed our stay and visit at this cabin in Hella. I recommend this place!

It was the prefect place for what we planned. It was very peaceful and easy to find. We were very comfortable. It would be a good place to see the northern lights but the weather was not on our side. Just one of those things. Thank you Stefan.

Highly recommend this place. You can take a rest after long trip or escape from the city in peace and quiet place! There is everything what you need to spend the best time. The owners are amazing people friendly, nice, and they take good care of this house. This makes this place so unique. We gonna back there again for sure :)

Perfect place to stay that was very cosy and well equipped. Aron was super nice and helpful. From the property are many attractions accessible by car. The hot tub was great, the kitchen very well equipped, including air fryer, as well as a barbecue and pizza oven on the terrace. Right around the house property were many horses in the pastures. We stayed there with 7 people. The place couldn't have been better for us.

Jona was a terrific host and her cottage was perfect for our family of three. we had great conditions for viewing the northern lights and away from any light pollution so we could really enjoy their beauty!

We spent 5 nights in the Sel of Maja and enjoyed it a lot. It is very cozy, but has absolutely everything you need and for two there was also enough space for our luggage. The access via a gravel road was easily doable with a 4x4 and it is wonderfully quiet with wonderful scenery. The first night we could even see the northern lights. Maja was super nice and helpful and always answered all our questions very quickly in advance. Anytime again! Thanks Maja for your hospitality!

This place is a slice of Goth Heaven. Isolated, dramatic and beautiful! You will need a 4x4 to get here in winter - the ice on the road is no joke - but it's completely worth it. If you're considering it, just do it!!

This stay was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful views all around, the place itself is very cute and fit the two of us just fine. I can only recommend it!

Perfectly secluded on an unmarked road. Walked to Faxafoss and river from the cabin. Saw Aurora multiple nights from the patio! Located on the Golden Circle made itenaries easier to plan. Cosy, toasty warm cabin after a winter cold day out.

Perfect, best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Cabin was exactly as described and how it appears in the photos. Was spotlessly clean too. The kids loved the mezzanine bedroom and we slept pretty well in ours too. Bathroom was good, great shower. Fully appointed kitchen which was handy as we ate in on a couple of nights given how remote the property is. Lovely double height living and dining space, great views and we saw the Northern lights too. Jona was very friendly at check in and gave us lots of helpful advice and recommendations. Great base to explore the golden circle, south coast, glaciers and waterfalls. Supermarkets and restaurants in Selfoss not too far away. Pretty close to the Secret Lagoon too! Loved it. If we come back to Iceland I know where we’ll stay!
